DISGRACEFUL SCAM

Do not book this accommodation! It is 100% false advertisement. The apartment is on the outskirts of Dubai Marina, 20km from the Burj Khalifa with a view of the motorway. The building is in a poor condition and the apartment is an absolute kip with rotting ceilings, dirty bathrooms and exposed wires. We did not stay at this awful and unsafe place. The owner will not answer any phone calls and is refusing to refund us. We will be reporting the owner Mr. Christian to the local police for this awful scam that he is running

Feel of being at home

I was happy before check in as I got information through Whatsapp and was helpful. Location is very good . Nice Burj Khalifa view and walking for Dubai mall ( 6 min walk to fashion brand entrance). service was not as expected The apartment was not ready at 3 (was ready at 4pm) , toilet papers were not kept in toilets and got them next day afternoon. Toilet Door lock was loose and not opening if u close properly unless someone open from other side and till check out no one came to fix it. Rooms are clean but very small and with just basic furniture. No mirror in rooms , only available in toilets. Nice security system and nice car parking area. Certain no blackout so much sun light feel difficult to continue sleeping in morning . Kitchen is good practical

Wij zijn totaal misleidt door deze appartement. Alhoewel wij het appartement voor 8 nachten hebben geboekt en betaalt hadden. Bleek het achteraf niet echt te bestaan. Ondanks de foto's en de ligging. Het is wel te boeken op expedia. Op zich wel vreemd. Echter het vermoeden is dat het appartement niet eens bestaat. MET ANDERE WOORDEN LET GOED OP BIJ HET BOEKEN VAN DIT APPARTEMENT. Wij zijn uiteindelijk met behulp van Expedia elders terechtgekomen. Daar hebben heerlijk genoten van het appartement en DUBAI als een wereld stad. Wat een heerlijke stad. Echt een aanrader . SCAM!!!!!

SCAM! SCAM! SCAM!!!!! The name "luxury" Burj Khalifa View is totallt misleading. The adress also. This is NOT located in Dubai downtown area as described! The location is in Dubai Marina - 25min taxi away!!!! So no view to Burj Khalifa. Tried to get the adress confirmed BEFORE arrival in Dubai via e-mail, SMS, Whatsapp and phone without any luck. At arrival in Dubai I received a message on e-mail about the adress for the appartment - and then we noticed that it were in the marina area. Tried to contact "owner": fbsvacation without any luck. Contacted hotels.com and they just told us that they couldn't do anything since hotels.com is just a hotel liaison and have no responsebility bewteen renter and owner. Tried to file a police report against FBS vacation - but they don't own the appartment - neither do hotels.com... Since we cannot get the owner's name and address from FBS or hotels.com - no further legal actions are possible. Really, really dissapointed at customer support from hotels.com! As a "valuated" gold status member, I expected more support from hotels.com. Has been offered a small compensation, but this doesn't even cover our exstra transport costs that we had on this vacation. However the appartement in the Marina was OK - but defently NOT the standard and location that we booked. Main enterance was a construction site. (see picture from the "lobby" view)
