We had large 1 bed apt, Big space, 2 balcony's Marina view. Kitchen came in handy for toast & tea, Bed was huge & comfy. Complimentary water & all toileterie's. Room cleaned every day, staff very helpful. Yes it does need some TLC, but for the price it;s in a great position for Marina, JBR & beach, pool (not big) but great views & never a prob getting a bed, towels provided. Massive supermarket across the road.

Prior booking this hotel apartment I was a little bit concerned as reviews were very mixed. I use to work in hotels and I knew that people more likely leave review after negative stay then positive. We arrived and had pleasant check in, not too long and then porter took our bags to apartment ( hotel has main hotel with rooms plus 4 apartments/villas). We stayed in deluxe villa nr1. Apartment was spacious, clean with large bed - bigger than king for sure as we shared it with 2 yr old. You could see usual wear and tear but it didn't bothered us as we didn't plan to stay in apartment all day long. Had all facilities you need- washing machine, dishwasher, plates, cutlery and crockery , pans and pots and fridge and freezer and also microwave. You could open patik door and have breakfast outside. Location was great - just on marina! Very short walk to the beach -10min ( over the bridge ) and also tram and train. Shop across the road and loads of restaurants on the doorstep. Very happy with choice as I felt it was great value for money as marina itself is prime location.

I was a bit of dissapointed about the booking, I booked for early check-in in booking.com, when I visit there my booking just for the next day. Btw, the night-shift front desk staff ( Egyptian or arabic guy) he was really helping us for find another places because that time the hotel are full! the next day i try to check-in just only a few hours because if i cancel the booking i still have to pay the same amount of the cost for my room. The room is more than we expected, with the great prices i get very nice room, it was big, clean as well comfortable. Great experience, Gonna come back in a short time!

My family and I have just returned from a 11 night stay at the Lotus Apartments and Spa. In brief, the hotel is located at the far end of the Dubai Marina and is around a 15 minute walk from the nearest metro station (Jumeriah Lake Towers). Generally the hotel is OK for those on a budget - but it is clear they really cut corners on basic things. The good points:- 1. The views from the swimming pool are amazing. The hotel is located on the end of the maria so the tall buildings are a great backdrop. 2. The cleaning and support staff are generally very good. In particular, there was a Nepalese gentleman (I can't remember his name) who was the pool attendant. He was really friendly and worked incredibly hard. 3. Access to the Marina is excellent. There is a passageway between the hotel and Marina front. 4. The rooms are spacious and luckily each one has a balcony - even if you go with the cheapest room. Unfortunately, there are quite a few bad points:- 1. The hotel rooms are in a very poor condition. In our room, the bedroom and kitchen draws were all damaged and in need of serious maintenance. The kitchen appliances were also of the cheapest quality. 2. The hotel appears to have been constructed in a rush. Light switches are hard to find and often control random lights. Cables were also dangling from our tv, The general finish of the hotel is generally poor and probably the worst I've seen. 3. Quiet a few times there was no hot water for showers - really frustrating. 4. Wi-fi is free but really unreliable. It is great in the lobby area but in the bedrooms and around the pool it is shocking. It kept dropping out and every 5 minutes I had to sign back in using the Wifi code. 5. The rooms (and the hotel itself) are very dark and dreary. Not exactly warm and welcoming. Again, it was probably constructed in a hurry and on a budget. 6. There is a serious lack of sunbeds. By 10am they had pretty much gone. 7. The AC unit in the bedroom was the loudest I've ever heard. It was hard to sleep with the AC operating. I can't complain too much - as the hotel is reasonably priced given the location. The hotel gets the basics right - but really needs to invest in a major revamp.

This was our first visit to Dubai and we didn’t quite know what to expect. We booked 12 nights stay. The hotel we stayed in was in the marina which is probably the best location. The views are gorgeous. The hotel was very clean, all the staff were polite, friendly and very helpful. The restaurant in the hotel is open 24hrs and serve such a variety of food, which was delicious and reasonably priced. We will definitely be returning to Dubai and to the Lotus.

This hotel, whilst nice, is not in the 5 start league. The service was polite, albeit slow. We had to keep asking for things, and were not really offered much in the way of information. The balcony was tiny and overlooked a building site next door. The swimming pool is tiny and located just off the street. The views from the pool are are lovely though, as you can see the Marina. The rooms were small but clean. The wifi was not as good as it could have been. The signal kept dropping. We did have wifi by the pool though.Breakfast was good, but again, we had to ask for certain things that had finished and waited 10 minutes for the baked beans to be brought out. The price was expensive for what it was. I could have stayed somewhere else much nicer for the same money. (210 English pounds for 2 nights)

This was my second trip to Dubai & bouy did'nt i make a choice that i so wanted to . i fairly had a good knowledge of the hotels in dubai . my first criteria for the hotel was the upscale location, so i chose DUbai marina. Now Dubai has variety of views to offer , then why not choose somtehing to remember !!! acter going thru all the reviews all good & BAD , i zeroed onto LOTUS MARINA. and I GOT WHAT I PAID FOR . i booked a two bed room apartment & front desk was generous enough to give me marina facing apartment on the top floor .WOW, WOW !!! FO THE VIEWS .... refer to pics attached !!!! apartment was decent , not the luxurious one , but would do the basics ... master bed room( with the marina views) was decent in size and the 2nd bedroom was bit cramped, but was perfectly ok to me. LIVING AREA was bit awkward in shape and design but the view from it compensated for everything, was still good enough for a cup of tea. kitchen was basic and did the needful. buffet breakfast was just basic. location of the hotel is juz perfect . Direct access to MARINA WALK and the dhow cruise/ yacht /dinNer cruises. the boarding point of these cruises is like - cruise pikup from hotel itself. Get out of the hotel and your cruise is parked there !!! 100 meters to super market, 150 meters to INDIAN, chinese restaurants . VERY NEAR MARINA BEACH & JUMERIAH BEACH WALK !!!! ( great places to visit) POOL, small but perfect setting !!!! open air , open views just as perfect as pool could be located !!!!!!baby pool is added fun ! CAbs are readily available . Staff is courteous enough TO HELP YOU . Why to stay in bur dubai/ deira area when dubai has this location to offer !!! nearby locations : PALM ISLAND/ BURJ AL ARAB,/ MARINA /MARINA MALL/JBR/ MARINA BEACH

The hotel is terrible! First of all, we arrived early in the morning (our flight came from Perth/Australia arrived at 05:00am at Dubai). When we got in the lobby, we asked for an early check-in and the rude guy (unfortunately, forgot his name) told us that the hotel was fully booked (which was clearly not!). Afterwards, we than asked to have breakfast at the first day instead of the last day, because we were going to leave the hotel 3 days later at 05:00am and there was not enough time to have breakfast. We were only asking to EXCHANGE the breakfast from the last day to the first day, and the answer was NO! We tried to explain that we would check-out really early in the morning and the included breakfast was not going to be used, so we just wanted to exchange the day, but they didn’t seem to agree or care about and simply said NO again. Ok, let’s not ruin our vacation, we stayed without breakfast and literally slept at the lobby’s sofa until 10:00am, when they finally found a room for us and… guess what? Wrong room! The room was different from our reservation. After several discussions, they said SORRY and kept us at the same room. The room was not that bad, in front of the swimming pool, spacious, so we accept their apologize excuses. Finally we had a room by mid-day after several problems, so…let’s take a shower and go for tourism. Guess what again??? No hot water!!! The shower was simply very cold and the boiler not working!! We asked someone to help and after a long stay, they finally came and solved the problem! After that, the rest of the experience was terrible: breakfast was poor! Better hurry up to guarantee your food: they start removing food off 15 min BEFORE the official closing time. And they don’t care if you are still eating…you have to literally run and take what you want before they disappear with food. Terrible terrible terrible! Don’t Go!!!!

This is the Second time I stayed in the Lotus Hotel Apartments in Dubai Marina. I stayed Six Nights and I like this Hotel Apartment as it's Central location to everything From Marina Mall to the Metro station and it's a Clean place even the Swimming pool is clean. The only Bad thing I would say Wifi in the room is not great you sometimes have to turn it off and turn it back on to get it going again. The Staff are very Nice and Friendly they always had Bottles of water and tea and Coffee in the room and clean towels Daily as well . There is A Tesco across the road for food and a Bank machine if you need Cash. I used the Travel Company in the Hotel Star Light Tours Safaris & Cruises The Gentleman his Name was Nitin I Booked with him to go for Dinner to The Burj Al Arab and he had Nice Jeep Organised to bring us up to the Burj. We had a great Night there in the Burj and the Food was Amazing. I then Booked Ski Dubai it was cheaper again with Nitin and it was great fun were would you see it Snow in the Dessert lol. I booked the Jet Ski tour as well that was Brilliant they pick you up and drop you back to the Hotel. When I go back to Dubai I'd definitely book With Nitin from starlight Tours more Trips as he always went the extra mile to look after you . Thanks Nitin

The hotel is decent and is located with a private door to Marina promenade. It has a decent spa has many other restaurants and spa nearby. The gym is small and the staff are not attentive to smaller details. The rooms are good value for money. The internet and maintenance is not satisfactory and they should improve that.
