I took my elderly mother to Dubai last month in her wheelchair. The hotel is totally wheelchair accessible. We were welcomed by Jason Dmello, the Front Desk Manager and were very fortunate to be able to choose the room my mother most liked which was a great start to our holiday! He checked up on us the next day which was very reassuring. Infact, every member of staff at every level exceeded our expectations with each request. The front desk staff were exceptional and so were the cleaning staff and restaurant staff. I felt the staff couldn't do enough for us and as it was my first time travelling by myself with mum in a wheelchair I felt very supported everywhere including by the pool and even in the sister hotel next door. I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending this hotel, I would really love to go again soon. It's been a few weeks now since we've been back but mum has been reminding me constantly to write this review purely because she had a wonderful stay there thanks to all you great people! Thank you very much
Great hotel with great view to the main buildings of Dubai! Josef Johary welcomed us warmly at the reception and during our whole stay the service was just amazing. We would recommend everybody to stay in this hotel while visiting Dubai.
We stay 4 days at Le Meridian Mina Seyahi and we are so glad to choose this hotel. It was so welcoming. Staff were courteous and friendly. The room we had was big, not only for our huge bed and all the furniture, but also for the additional two single beds for my 10&12 year old, that they added. It had amazing views over the gardens and pools and the palm in front. We had use of the club lounge. What an amazing add on and would throughly recommend you book this as you gain so much for free! The Kids club was excellent. My older kids loved the water sports they offered for free each day. The choice of restaurants is also amazing. We'd happily go back for another visit.
Excellent professionalism at this resort. Also very impressed with the customer service. I’d forgotten something that needed to be posted back to me and the staff were super quick and helpful while responding to my emails and giving me many options of how to retrieve. Beautiful place and would definitely recommend to others. Will be back here again if the situation calls!
Extremely disappointed even before our holidays commence. My husband by mistake booked and paid in full for two extra nights at Le Meridien Mina Seyahi and we brought this matter to the attention of their manager and requested him to refund us as it was a genuine human error. He was very rude and bluntly read out their hotel policy and refused to refund our money. We asked if there is any other way they could compensate us whilst our stay there and the answer was NO and he again goes on to read the hotel refund policy. This hotel links to Westin and you expect good service from them but is with utter disappointment to say that their service is disgusting and they have given us enough grief and stress already. We have made several phone calls and been transferred to different departments who do not communicate with each other and the end result is no resolution to your issues. Perhaps it was their way to leave customers frustrated to rob their money in the name of policies Disgusting and applauding service from this hotel. Will not return
i don t have enough words ...it s always amazing to stay here...our second home everything its just great ...extremely clean ...friendly staff...very good service i want to give many thanks to CARMELA and Stephan , reception desk , all the concierge staff and my young lady from the restaurant ...always with a warm smile on her face
My family and I stayed here for 6 nights at the end of October. The hotel is lovely with nice clean rooms. The hotel is in an ideal location with its own beach area and is a 3 minute walk to the tram stop which connects you to the rest of dubai. Dubai Marina is a few stops away as is Jumeira Beach Residence where there are some lovely restaurants and shops. Staying at this hotel contributed to a fantastic holiday with my husband and young children who particularly loved the beach area within the resort. Some special touches included a birthday cake and card delivered to my room on the last day when it was my birthday and my children forgot their teddies in their room which the hotel found and have since arranged to be sent you us in the UK. A big thank you to all the staff at Le Meridian Mina Seyahi, we will definitely be back in the future. 😎
My husband and I spent a long weekend together in the Le Meridien Mina Seyahi, Dubai. We arrived early in the morning straight from our flight, but the receptionist went out of her way to change our room so that we could get a room straight away, rather than waiting for the allocated check in time. She was happy to take her time and talk us through the hotel facilities and services. The room itself was spacious, we'd paid for a sea view and it was really worth it. Spectacular. We weren't aware when booking that as guests of the Le Meridien we also had access to the neighbouring Westin facilities. But this really made it worth it for us. The adults only section of the Westin beach backs onto the pool and the pool bar. We ate at the pool bar in Le Meridien and in Fish. They both had great service, but I can't complement Fish enough. The beach setting, the wait service, the sumptuous food.. all were incredible. The waiter told me that they close down for the summer months (it's just too hot and too quiet) and I really count us as lucky that it was open while we stayed there. The concierge desk was exceptionally helpful. Giving us tips on the locality, tours and shopping. However, the on-site travel agent was really over priced. We asked them to price a desert safari and they gave us the general package that's available from most of the multitude of suppliers. The price quoted was 365AED (approx €85) each. We booked a similar tour online for 105AED €25 each. We had asked the concierge to recommend some local bars that might be worth visiting. He sent us down to JBR which was lovely, but in reality there is a lively music bar right on site. Barasti has live music most nights, followed by a DJ til the early hours. The only issue I had was the amount of smoke in the atmosphere from the shisha everyone was smoking! Overall we were very spoiled during our weekend away. The staff were very attentive to our every need (even getting additional decaf capsules for our coffee machine). The hotel was modern, well kept in a great location and it's own beach with direct views of the Palm and Atlantis.
I really struggle with this hotel. It's a beautiful hotel, the staff are great, it's links to the Westin mean you get the best from both hotels. The rooms are beautiful and spotless, the views are wonderful. But, and it's a big but in my view, the noise from Barasti ruins it. Thursday, Friday, Saturday nights - if you're not in Barasti, you might as well be, the bass/boom from the bar meant I didn't sleep. We were moved (the staff were great about it) from our room to a room with soundproofing but it didn't make enough of a difference. So we moved again to a city view room. Much much better but obviously without the stunning view that we'd paid for. It's such a huge shame because what you get during the day is wonderful and during the nights when Barasti isn't playing music until he early hours, it's also great. We've stayed here four times - once only for a couple of nights during the week, once in a city view room and once during Ramadan so it hasn't impacted us previously Primarily, we go to Dubai to relax so we won't be staying again. We've booked to go to Dubai again next month but we're staying somewhere different. It's such a shame.
