Definitely a top hotel with great staff, spent 3 nights here and have a great time. Gorgeous hotel in comparison to the other jumeirah hotels it's certainly the most extravagant in terms of design which we loved. The only thing I would say is there's not a lot going on outside the hotel, so you need to take a taxi around to the other jumeirah hotels which you can do in the dine around option, which I would recommend. I think the restaurants around the medinat area have more options and are slightly better. That's not to say that the zabeel saray has poor restaurants, quite the opposite. One thing to note we went during Ramadan, which isn't an issue in the Jumeirah residences, however be warned if you take a trip out you may not be able to get a drink of water during the daytime, which in 45 degree heat is an issue! 100% would recommend it here, thanks for a wonderful stay.
Always enjoyed my stays at this gem at the palm. However the gem is not shining as before. I don't pretend to be Tom Cruise and I am not a celebrity but over the years check in at the Zabeel made you feel special. This visit the welcome lounge where you were offered a seat whilst being served a cool drink and cool towels, a welcome sight after a long flight and hot transfer had gone. To be replaced with a long standing wait to check in whilst the solitary attendant dealt with other guests. The poor guy, who was polite and trying to multi task then ran off like a Andrew Sachs character to get the welcome drinks and towels. Jumeirah Zabeel used to do things " the way only they can do" but if that is no longer the case the chasing pack of competition will close the gap. The rooms, little older but are still luxurious. We had some concerns on first night and they were rectified immediately. Fantastic The next day our visit to the Talise spa was a downer, having visited many times before my wife was surprised by a rude receptionist who refused allow her to have a look and she wanted to if anything had changed. Two days later at the time of her appointment, she was greeted by a different receptionist and we were back to the exceptional warm welcome normally associated with Talise. Breakfast at Imperial restaurant was very good however dinner was a different experience. The imperial was open to outside guest to celebrate Iftar, internal guests should be clearly advised at time of check in that dinner bookings are only after 9pm and would be wise to use other restaurants. We did use the Imperial after 9pm and were disappointed after 300 guests picked at and talked over the food, appeared to be on display all evening. It was like having Luke warm left overs, nothing noticeably cooked fresh came out of the kitchen after the event. We overheard conversations the next day and others felt the same. Zabeel must have listening devices installed because the next night the Imperial was flooded with its many "captains" scrutinising everything from the level of service to the heat of food to ensure quality is to the acceptable standard of the Jumeirah Zabeel. The hotel lobby is still exceptional and house keeping as accommodating as ever We still recommend this hotel, definitely will stay again but will consider a different time of the year and consider the competition when before would not have entered the equation
I was really moved by this hotel...always kept admiring it online till i decided to visit yesterday... The hotel is beautiful inside out...we went to Voda bar though it was not busy at all....i enjoyed it even though it was hard to get the waiter to serve us on time since we were sitted outside..i really didnt mind! I was so blown by it that i decided to spend a night...since it was a last minute decision the receptionist gave us a good rate room also since i didnt like being on the lower floor she made an extra effort on getting us a nice room on the 4th floor. She was the only person that i met who seemed happy to be there. Our room was beautiful even though i didn't get the amenities until the next day morning. The hotel is beautiful but it just lacked the beautiful feeling of it all on the staff. I liked it but i loved Etihad Towers More in All the jumeirah hotels i have been too.
The above is the name of the general manager at Zabeel Saray, his attempts to rectify the many issues i had at this hotel were extremely lacklustre and were very indicative of the response i got from issues i tried bringing to managements attention whilst there. Mario, the personal assistant to Fernando has obviously learnt from his senior as he was just as bad, hence me finally conversing with Fernando on email. From the very first night when I called the concierge from my room and he failed to call me back then when I called again 20 minutes later and I asked him if he received my message he simply replied with a yes! No apology, no explanation, I then asked him to reserve a table for me at a restaurant in your hotel, he just put me through rather than booking on my behalf. By the way, the phone rang and rang at the restaurant so I had to hang up and call zero again, I complained to the person that answered my call and advised I would like management to be aware how unimpressed I was with the concierge…..Surprise surprise, no one got in touch with me! Everyone knew my room # was 504 but no one cared to contact me? This was just one of a catalogue of issues, one of the worst during our short stay was when a young child decided to drop his swimmers in front of us and started crouching, as this was a boy i had a pretty good idea why he would be crouching so i promptly shouted at the parents to stop him doing such a disgusting thing whilst we were lying on sun loungers but they seemed to think it was funny...As too did the two members of staff that were nearby when i shouted them over to show them what was going on. funnily enough, my attempt to speak to a manager at that point too was ignored and no one got in touch with me. When i brought all of these points (and there were more) to Fernando's attention, his idea of making it up to me was to offer me an upgrade next time i spend money to stay at their hotel! Hahahahahahahahaha, does he really think i would ever spend more money at that hotel or any other Jumeirah resort for that matter? My wife and i have been to Dubai over 20 times for short sunshine breaks and we've stayed at all of the Jumeirah properties, it's such a shame that the pure arrogance of the GM at Zabeel has made me feel this way to never frequent any of their groups properties ever again.
Came here last night for Iftar. Luxury at its best!! <3 It's so impressive and gorgeous place in all senses. Excellent food by Imperium Restaurant and top quality of service. I love this this Hotel :)

A very pleasant stay with the extraordinary service and the best care from the lovely guys Meshack, by the royal residences and Dennis by tennis court. They made our stay at zabeel saray from 4 stars to 5, thumbs up for you!
Ive stayed in this hotel over 12 times, and can say it is the best hotel in Dubai,Ive stayed in many hotels in Dubai including Burj al Arab. Chathura and Sunil are my most favourite people of the hotel always there to greet me always smiling and helping me,always make me and my family feel special and welcoming always smiling, These guys are a asset to JZS,one of the reasons why i always come back to the hotel is the hospitality i receive from Chathura and Sunil. Over the years i tend to visit this hotel 3 times a year always loved every stay and look forward to going back! Highly recommended, Paul the manager always there to assist and very welcoming and always accommodating to our every need! Thank you very much for your hard work and efforts i cannot wait to see you guys on my next trip.
This hotel is just superb and is the reason why we keep returning. Everyone from housekeeping to checkin is perfect and the rooms are still wonderfully maintained. We had turquoise lounge access for our recent short stay which we enjoyed but the service was very chaotic on one evening which was disappointing. Cant wait to go back.
Staying here June 16-21 Fabulous hotel Lovely beech and pool area Expensive but you pay for the service and amenities like any good 5star hotel Most Staff excellent especially at bar in lobby and spa Special word of thanks to hotel paramedic unfortunately I picked up a Delhi belly. The paramedic and hotel staff were excellent thank you. I think this proves how good the guest care is in a hotel when you are sick how well the hotel looks after a guest Just two cons Pool restaurant refurbishment too much noise needs to be reviewed Hotel did move sun beds away from area and open villas pool on Monday I Was leaving Breakfast restaurant with a cup of black tea when waiter came running out after me another guess had to tell me waiter was calling me in lobby, Waiter told me I could not bring this cup of tea out of restaurant I must drink in restaurant. (I gave it back to him) Please allow your guests if the wish to drink there breakfast tea and read a newspaper away from the noise of a restaurant been cleaned after breakfast ,with so many beautiful seats on every floor, your paying guess should decide where they would like to seat, maybe this is why I saw next to nobody use these seat during my stay
