I went for Brunch on the 26th with my family. Brunch set up is very nice and food quality is overall good something hard to get nowadays in Dubai. Special thanks to the Supervisor Christofer who helped me organizing a table inside due to the very hot weather outside. The F&B industry in Dubai needs more people like you. Thanks a lot Christofer!
One of the beauties of staying at this hotel, apart from the wonderful place and fabulous service from every member of the team, is the abra’s ferrying you around the resort. Every team member was excellent but we found Belayet great - great photographer and tour guide and a pleasure to meet
We had our wedding on the 15th October at the Al Qasr Sunset Terrace and what an unforgettable day and holiday we had. We stayed for 10 nights at the Mina A Salam in an Executive Ocean View Room. The room was everything we wished for, big comfy bed and a nice balcony overlooking the beach and the Burj Al Arab. We took full advantage of the complimentary half board, dining in The Noodle House, Tortuga (our favourite), Perry & Blackwelders, Naya and Zheng He's. The Executive Club Lounge was fantastic and great value for money. The afternoon tea was amazing and the canapés in the evening were so delicious you could have quite easily skipped dinner !! The whole resort is unbelievable, to be able to travel to restaurants and bars via little boats called Abras is something else, you really need to come here to appreciate it, no photos will do it justice. We can't thank Mr Andy Cuthbert and his PA Jovelle enough for everything they did for us. Jovelle organised our Rolls Royce and Minibus transportation to the marina on our wedding day, reserved our preferred table for our wedding party at Tortuga Mexican the night before the wedding and had our room decorated with rose petals and champagne. We couldn't have wished for a more perfect day in the most stunning location, the memories we will treasure forever. We can't wait to come back and celebrate our first wedding anniversary at the Mina A Salam. Beverley and Martin Townsend
Opulence at its finest. You really couldn’t ask for more of a hotel. It has nailed the Dubai bling perfectly and has the added wow feature of being opposite the burj al Arab which makes for some wonderful photos. Food and service are as to be expected of Dubai. You can also use adjacent hotels including the JBH. Perfect for a week of luxury.
It was our second time to book this Brunch because we really enjoyed the first time and we were celebrating a Birthday, in the beginning we asked the team to change the table which was allocated it was right under the sun and we were 11 people ! The team member wasn't empowered enough to decide politely asked to get his manager which we agreed however the manager (unfortunately i didn't catch his name) was the rudest person tat you can encounter in hotel industry! he wasn't trying to help only thing he would say is NO ! we cannot we will see later even though we have explained we would like to decorate the table its a surprise birthday later we cannot change but NO nothing could be done ! eventually the supervisor who is actually reporting to the manager helped us and found a better place to sit thanks to him we started our brunch in a better mood. I believe a manager should be flexible and problem solving oriented and smile which we didn't see any of these with the manager there. Unfortunately such a shame that we will not be back just because of this!
everything about this hotel is just top notch you'd regret for coming to dubai and not making your way here. my fave memento was the friday after brunch at bahri bar. HYPEST. tho most of the servers give you cynical look
Brunch with alcohol for AED 495. The food selection is huge, too much for me as you could easily spend a good hour trying to view all the food and beverage options. To be fair I'm not much of a buffet bruncher - I'd rather have table service and not waste food for the sake of a mouthful of something that looks appetizing. The food is average. You feel like 10% of the city is attending. The drinks table service was a joke! I asked someone where the wine is located, only to be told this was table service... two hours into brunch this chap hadn't showed himself or checked if we were happy... when the chap did come to offer wine I can't help think Jumeirah staff training needs to improve. When I asked for white wine I was told it was prosecco, I asked him to double check several times as I wasn't 100% prosecco was the white wine on offer. Okay, I might sound like a snob, but for AED495 I was expecting better service. Yes it was busy, but I don't recall many people receiving wine or refills of any wine... I rate the brunch 6/10 for the setting, live music and food. Drinks were average and wine below average for this price tag. Would I go again? No. There's too much choice in Dubai and better service available at other venues.
My Situated at the centre of the madinat Jumeirah the Mina A Salam has it all. It’s easy to navigate the resort via the free golf buggy or on the abras taking you to the souk via the waterway. It’s a big enough hotel to have all of the facilities you would expect from a five star hotel but has the intimacy and feel of a small boutique hotel. Its position is arguably the best as it is positioned between Al Qasr and the Al Naseem hotel. This makes it easy to grab one of the free golf buggies and travel between hotels and restaurants on the resort. There are many restaurants from which to choose all of which are excellent. Shimmers on the beach being arguably the best of the lot We were greeted with a smile by all staff who are always happy to help. The beds are the most comfortable beds we have ever slept in and the room over looks a magnificent view of the gulf, truly awesome! The quality of food, service and restaurants across the resort was great, we particularly liked the souk, which we visited on Friday night, and it was buzzing. Pierchic was fantastic too as was the Bhari bar for late night cocktails. I would highly recommend it for its comfort, service, food and location. Overall an outstanding location and wonderful staff.
Fantastic brunch. Did not miss anything. Delicious food with an extremely vide variety of everything. Free flow of drinks, good service and nice atmosphere. Continued to the after party on the outdoor terrace.. a perfect day on a great venue. Will defiantly be back.
Had a wonderful week in Dubai staying at this hotel. Food good, hotel amazing, pools spectacular, excellent trips and red hot weather. I had been to Dubai seven years previously and stayed at the Jumeirah Beach next door.
