With my wife and for second trip, stayed there for 3 nights ( superior deluxe ocean view room) .actually without any problem, one 30 meters balcony! With dreamly view .breakfast and pool bar were great. Collections of pols are very clean and clean and superior . 100 percent this hotel is the one of the 10 hotels at the Dubai. Check in and Check out were very fast. What the perfect and expertise gym by " Talis " name! Bellboys and waiters helpful and praised. Thank you very much "JUMAIRAH " group!
We stayed at the Mina for 10 nights from 31st May and had the most perfect stay. We were 2 adults & 2 Children (11 & 8 years). We have stayed at other Jumeirah properties before but this is now my favourite the location and range of pools and restaurants being in the Madinat complex made the holiday for us. We booked Club Room plus Half Board which I can't recommend highly enough, we arrived at 7:30am from a night flight and the complimentary transfer was waiting - if you book a Club room this is included and you just drop the hotel an email with your flight details. I'm not sure how the kids will ever get back on a coach transfer now! At the hotel we were taken to the Club lounge for check in and our room was ready, but we quickly changed and made our way to the Pool. Being in the Madinat you can use the Mina, Al Qasr or Naseem pool, the Mina pool was always the coolest - which was much welcome, but the pool at the Naseem was stunning. The Al Qasr had many more kids and is very big. We stayed evenly at them all and certainly weren't the type to get up and reserve beds and always found sunbeds without issue. The beach runs the whole length of the hotel complex and is stunning with a crystal clear sea that is very warm. The Club Lounge allows you access during the day just off the pool for soft drinks and afternoon tea. The kids room in there is good and sometimes gave our 2 a welcome hours break from the sun. The Afternoon tea is not just a cake and scone there was hot food, salads, sandwiches and cakes. In the evening you have Happy hour 6-8pm even during Ramadam (in fact you can still eat and have a drink outside during Ramadam at these hotels), the Happy hour was fabulous, the canapés were amazing always something that you just had to try, drinks wise several beers on offer, Bollinger Champagne (which I stuck to - felt like Ab Fab) and shorts, soft drinks and a short cocktail menu. The service and drinks offered and subsequently topped up was far better than any other Club Lounge we have been to. Grace, Elton, Lauren and Kseniya excelled themselves with customer service, helping advise on restaurants, booking them and ensuring we had the drinks we needed and chatting to us. Dress code states long trousers but when we arrived a lot of men were in smarter tailored shorts so my husband was pleased and this is also good from other club lounges we have been in (they are in 30-40 degree heat after all) We chose the Half Board option and you can eat Breakfast at any of the 3 hotels - we tried all 3 and the room in the Al Qasr is beautiful but the choice at the Mina was unbelievable and again the service and quality was spot on. For Evening meal we tried a different restaurant every night which I have reviewed separately but our favourites were (inc the kids) the Lebanese, Chinese, Trattoria Toscana, P&B and Argentinian (JBH). If you want lunch then just use 1 Adult and 1 child vouchers as you get 3 courses so too much food for 1 at lunch, we only did that twice, breakfast was filling and then afternoon tea kept you going. The Buggies and Abra's to get between the hotels and the Souk are brilliant and a perfect way to get about - you can walk but sometimes its just a bit too hot. Wild Wadi is included and with it being so close you could just pop in for a couple of hours, something for all ages there. Our room was nice and even with the kids on the Sofa bed spacious enough, my only issue was the storage space, for 4 people for 10 nights we needed more drawer space, but it got by fine. We had an issue towards the end where the kids had painful ears and then developed a temperature overnight - we popped down to reception and a Dr was in our room 40 mins later, we did have to pay but she was very good and gave the children painkillers and antibiotics. Taxis available outside the front door to take you to any of the Malls,Burj Kalifa, fountains etc. Overall I would definitely stay here again and our children loved it.
We stayed here at the end of May and enjoyed every minute. The entire experience is one the hotel management and staff should be very proud of. Everything appears to be considered from a guests perspective to ensure you really have an amazing stay. room, food, pool all amazing and we are already planning to return later this year. Our 6 year old went into the kids club a couple of times and loved it, struggled to get her to leave! Only downside was no availability for a late check out - our flight was not until 1am, but easily fixed by being allowed to use the facilities at the onsite gym complex - which also has a cool rock climbing wall. Would recommend this for both couples and also families.
Excellent. We'll be back, whatever you expect a hotel to be, this was it. Clean, beautiful, relaxed, attentive and maintained. The little things that make differences were done well here, from the ice buckets with water, fresh fruit and wet towels on the beach. To the lip balm, slippers and silk towels for your feet etc each evening it was well worth the stay. Good place well managed, awesome staff.
This was our second visit to mina, we last visited around 5 years ago. We went what used to be known as premium luxury and is well worth the extra budget. Pros- super clean Nice service Great food Cons- we arrived early and room wasn't ready, any reason why you don't keep a couple of spare rooms to enable people to change?, we ended up getting changed in the spa which wasn't ideal. Meal vouchers are good but the supplements in most restaurants is not acceptable for both food and drink, border line greedy. The hotel is getting a little more family driven rather than couples, we will be considering this when we return to Dubai. Overall this Hotel is a great stay with great service and all around luxury at its best.
We stay for a week with 5 family members at Mina Salam . My in lows love this place and visiting every year . It was my 1st time in Dubai and 1st holiday where I didn't complain about anything! Absolutely fabulous place. Fantastic restaurants, rooms , corridors, beach and all jumeirah resort. Great service especially from Kseniya which cared about us perfect every single night ! Absolutely love the place and will be back next year ! Thank you mina salam !
We enjoyed a perfect, but too short, 3 nights stay in Jumeirah Mina A´Salam. We were talking about to visit this hotel for a long time and finaly we came there. We have named this hotel "Fairytale". Everything worked from beginning till the end of our stay. A perfect room lay-out, all meals we had were great and delicious. They have the best fitness we have ever had in a hotel but we didn´t have enough time to experience their lovely Talise spa. We only saw it from Abra boat which goes through 3 Jumeirah hotels. We had Arabian deluxe room with view to Al Naseem, the newest member of the chain. It was quiet room and for me maybe better then the room with sea view which might be close to restaurants. We had a halfboard in our room rate and used the dine around option. You really needn´t to leave the hotel because there are plenty of restaurants and really good ones. The story for itself is their lovely beach with plenty of sunbeds, umbrellas and towels. We were offered with smoothies and still watter during the day. The Souk Madinat Jumeirah, where restaurants are located and mostly with view to the "river" and local shops, is very nice. The smell in corridors would be only thing good to improve. Just to enhance the ambiance. The staff was helpful and always positive. We may only recommend this place and I do hope we return sometimes.
Had the most amazing 5 night stay at the Mina A'Salam. Everything is 5 star from the room, food and people that work there . Always there to greet you with a friendly smile. Each of the restaurants are amazing with Pai Thai been my favourite. The Abra boats are a great way to visit each hotel and the Jumeriah Flavours option of half board is well worth it. The water, ice lollies and fruits distributed by the staff at the pool and beach is such a lovely touch. We had drinks in the Skyview Bar in The Burj another place definitly worth a visit. Would return again and stay in the Mina and will take my children next time.
We have just returned home from a fantastic one week stay at the Mina A'Salam and we loved it. The whole experience was first class, with a fantastic range of dining across the resort. The staff were friendly and helpful, our room was first class, and the views from the balcony were the best we have had. The resort is spotlessly clean, the staff take pride in their work. We stayed at the Atlantis last year, that was great, but the Mina A'Salam was better. We will be back next year.
This is a great hotel, you get what you expect and more, from the minute we arrived to the time we left the staff were fantastic, nothing is a problem, they are always smiling and attentive. The decor and rooms are perfect and the food is excellent. The Mina has a nice feel and a nice mix of guests, this is a great place to rest and recharge, we did and we will be back again next year.
