The DAM at Madinat once again lived up to its fabulous reputation. The staff, the setting, the luxury, the service and the '6pm happy hour!' all play their part in delivering the best ( by a margin ) luxury experience in Dubai. If you're reading this , you're thinking of booking. Look no further, you've found the best!
Had a great time at Dar Al Masyaf. We have been several times before and this one was just as good as usual. We stayed in villa 13 in rooms overlooking the waterway where the great Abra's sail past all day. We had a great set of butlers in our villa especially Lee and Ann Jennifer (who made our stay exceptional ) they gave my daughter Katie a birthday to remember .... a beautiful bouquet of flowers......a wonderful cake and even the butlers manager came played her guitar and sang for her !!!! It seems like the butlers just can't do enough for you .....nothing is too much trouble. We would recommend staying here at any of the Jumeirah hotels and especially the villas .... where we have met many great friends we still keep in touch with ......ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT!
The standard of the resort remains first class. The summer flavours dine around offer does have too many restaurants now requiring a supplement charge. This is starting to limit our choice of dining. We feel that the price we currently pay should be sufficient to allow access to all but a few specialist eateries. Customer loyalty is not adequately recognised by the group. Over 60% of the business is supported by repeat custom. Surely this is worthy of recognition? Essential maintenance work is not highlighted to guests at the point of booking with the local agents. This could effect our decision to visit and restrictions should be communicated more effectively to potential visiting guests.
Stayed at this property Villa number 22 for the Eid holidays / Staycation with kids aged 3 and 10 . We were greeted by the hotel staff on arrival and well taken care of during check in ! We were received by a friendly yet professional butler Lara at the villa number 22. With this villa you get free access to Abra the boat and buggy ( golf car ) to take you around the resort ! 24 hour butler service , a private pool which is shared among three villas ( each villa has 8 - 9 ) rooms . We requested the room on ground floor close to the pool and we got that , we requested through Lara one hour extra for check out , we got that . The resort has breath taking views and the best way to enjoy the resort is by taking the Abra. You can enjoy the pools in Al Qasar hotel / free access to beach plus the kids club complementary plus the wild wadi water park complementary if you stay at this property , lots to do with kids and you will always have to run against the time ... over all a super 5 star experience and we are going back to this property for next Eid for sure 👌 !
This was a very perefct holiday trip as every year. Friendly personal werever you lock and a perfect service. We want do this next year again. Now it was our sixt trip to this perfect place Dar Al Masyaf.
Once again we returned to the Masyaf for a 10 night stay and once again it was amazing! Total relaxation! We stayed in Villa 14 this year which was a great location. We love all the restaurant options there's so many! Shimmers on the beach is one of our favourites, latitude for a buffet and Scape in the Burj Al Arab. All the staff everywhere on the resort are so friendly and professional and nothing is to much for any of them! Even when the heat is soaring even the beach staff are still so polite and friendly. Our butler Vener was simply the best! Such a nice genuine lady and very professional a true credit to her profession, it was so nice to see her smiling face for happy hour drinks every evening. Also Viraf the guest services manager was outstanding at looking after us during our trip, you really made a difference thank you. There's a reason people return to this resort time after time! I cannot recommend it highly enough. We will be back next year!
We have stayed at the DAM many times. On this occasion we were in Villa 10 and our butler was called Ankur. He was a real gem, nothing was too much trouble for him. Very professional and friendly in everything he did a true credit to Jumeirah. If you are visiting the DAM we wouldn't hesitate to recommend Ankur for your butler as he will make your stay even better. We would recommend one of the new restaurants Rockfish. Wonderful food, ambiance and lovely service. Thank you Dyno, Huseyin and Rojet for a great evening. This is the best hotel in Dubai that is why so many people revisit. If you have not been before you must give it a try. Jumeirah should be proud of all it's wonderful staff who will go out of their way to make your dream holiday come true.
Brilliant return back to the Jumeriah Dar Al Masyaf! Was there with my son 3 years ago for his 6th b'day! And this time again.....by his request, his 9th b'day! The butlers made every moment so great for us......not to forget to mention ASHIS and ANGEL! Thank you so much! You both made our stay so special, my son and I will definitely wanna come back more often and want to see you again! Rooms were newly refurbished! Comfy bed and top amenities with fantastic wardrobe & dressing table! Spa was very professional and good! Breakfast, in room dining and restaurant have improved sooo much since 3 years! Amazing international variety choice of cuisine! Despite the weather.....so hot in Dubai......We will definitely want to come back to Jumeirah Dar Al Masyaf! Thank you to all the staff!
Absolutely fab 8 nights at DAM - our first stay at the Jumeirah complex following recommendations from friends. So happy we made this decision... the villa (23) was wonderful and rooms spacious. Looked after really well by all of the team including Viktor and Gregoria. Happy hour 6-8 was very much welcomed. Spent days either by beach, main pool or Al Naseem pools - like others have mentioned finding sunbeds can be a problem. Loved travelling around on the Abras and Buggies. Abras usually there within 5 mins, waits for Buggies were often longer. Food amazing everywhere we ate.... breakfast fave was Hanaaya at Mina A'Salam, but also good at Rockfish (less selection but lovely surroundings) and the Palmery at Al Naseem and the main buffet at Al Qasr and the smaller one by beach . Sugarmash bar up by Al Naseem adult pool really worth a visit. Happy hour cocktails and drinks 4pm-6pm at Al Naseem 29AED :) Black Tap well worth a visit for fab milkshakes but also great American style food - ribs burgers etc. Not on the HB offer. Places we went for Dinner which were all wonderful:- Al Hambra - great paella and one of the best rib eye steaks we've ever tasted. Churros dessert amazing Zheng he's* order the duck and pancakes! Naya - new Indian at JBH which was good Villa Beach* - fabulous setting/excellent seafood - lobster risotto and sashimi starters wonderful Trattoria Tosca - great informal Italian traditional menu Segretos - fabulous setting/amazing Italian food * supplement paid (but worth it!) Also experienced the Burj by booking Scape* for dinner - food was really good, service was fantastic and we even got to look around the whole of the terrace area after. Went to Shimmers for lunch which was great and told that it was lovely place for Dinner! Spent one evening at Wild Wadi and a really quiet time to go. Was concerned that being Ramadan it would spoil some things - but it made hardly any difference at all. We will be back - absolutely loved it ❤️
We have stayed at this hotel many times as a couple and now as a family of four with two young children. Everything about this hotel is so well thought out and you are made to feel so special (and the kids even more so) by the staff the moment you arrive. The location is amazing and the villas are situated in garden areas that would make you think you are on a private island. Food excellent, staff brilliant, kids happy - what more can you ask for. Thanks specifically to Ann Jennifer, Lee, Sonam and Nitesh the pool butler, oh and not forgetting our Kenyan cousin Dickens who has to be the happiest most chilled man in Dubai despite it being 49C.
