We visit Jumeirah Dar Al Masyaf at least once a year. The villas are provided in first class order with regular cleans offered throughout the day. The villas are well air-conditioned, incredibly spacious with a seating area, enormous bathrooms and each with a private balcony. Every evening there is a happy hour in the villa reception area when free drinks and snacks are provided and this provides a nice opportunity to mingle with other guests. The villas have a 24 hour private butler service and are offered with a private pool. The butler kindly arranges transportation via abra or buggy to and from the villa as well as another other arrangements such as booking dinners or other research for excursions, etc. The resort provides half board vouchers giving guests access to not only a broad selection of first class restaurants on site but others too such as Zabeel Saray - the Italian, Lebanese and Indian are a must! The buffet breakfasts, pool side lunches and lunch/dinner at Al Fayrooz Lounge are exceptional - afternoon tea at the latter was as good if not better than having afternoon tea at Claridge's. The water sports offered are convenient and easy to arrange as well as well priced. The staff throughout the resort ranging from senior management to the restaurants are exceptional and make every effort to make your experience unique. Please remember to be polite to all staff/security as they may ask for your room details/room card but that is merely for security reasons and to ensure non-paying guests do not enter private areas of the resort as it is a very exclusive resort. Lastly, please try to tip cleaners and workers on the resort, there is no pressure at all to do so as this is a high end resort but something I find is nice to do and humbling since they all make such an effort to maintain an enormous venue. Having travelled to a few exclusive resorts including those in South of France and having spoken to other guests who have experienced a number of high end resorts, Dar Al Masyaf is very much at the top end.
resort site, the beach, room condtion, the amenities, and not to mention the weather, everything was perfect. employees are all welcoming and willing to help you in any way. during check in, they asked if this trip had any special occasion and since i was there with a wild todler, i had forgotten that it was my birthday trip. after scanning my passport, the butler at villa 10 arranged a belated bday cake and flowers! so touched by their warm gesture and thoughtfulness. i would like to thank the butlers at villa 10 for making my stay extra special.
When we visited it was almost unbearably hot, however the hotel assisted with complimentary ice pops and waters by the pool. The air con was amazing and many attractions we visited were in doors so it was ok. The Abra boats were great way to get around and see the resorts. We stayed in the Arabian summer house which had a wonderful large bathroom and lovely balcony (which we did not use due to the heat). Our butler Onayago (I'm sorry E I don't think this is the right spelling - Villa 28) was the friendliest by far and we enjoyed his company! It is close to many attractions and we would definitely visit again.
My wife and I as newly weds got a villa with a beach view. Room, facilities, staff, everything about this place was amazing. Villas 1-8 are apparently the best which is where we stayed. It's such a scenic place both day and night. Plenty to do and you can even get a buggy to Burj-al-Arab for some afternoon tea which your own personal concierge will arrange for you.
Jumeirah does customer service brilliantly. The villa offering here takes it to even further heights, if that were possible. The butler service (special mention to Jennifer and Kate-villa 13) enables you to truly have a holiday without a single care. There is a private pool (per 3 villa cluster) and a welcome happy (2) hour(s) each evening in the villa courtyard. Buggy/Abra service is always on hand. You can experience all the Jumeirah properties, restaurants and the water park with ease. You can choose absolute privacy by the villa or get amongst it on the beach or by the pools. We went in Low season. Wow it's hot. It was getting busy too when we left. Must be rocking in High season. The half board voucher system is a little tortuous with what you can and can't have. However minor quibble. The abiding memory is of a courtesy and service provided with such a high level of finesse and consistency that we left with the intent to return once again. Great job Jumeirah.
Stayed in a Villa to celebrate our Wedding Anniversary this July. Everything was spot on - Room immaculate, quiet. Butler service and Happy Hour a pleasant surprise. Restaurants - amazing choice and go on Boat! We spent a few hours on the Lazy River too which was easily accessed by the Buggys. Breakfast also perfect - Buffet style and great selection. Faultless luxury.
This was our second visit to The Dar al masyaf, it is 5 star luxury in every respect, The Arabian villa & butler service are superb, they literally can't do enough for you, from booking restaurants, tours, organising our 2 hour happy hour & snacks every night.... We were literally spoilt from the minute we arrived, we were only upset that we didn't stay longer!!
We stayed in a villa during the "low" summer season when Dubai becomes very hot. It has been an absolute dream, amazing value and a once in a lifetime stay. The beach is perfect, the staff are amazing, the facilities in excellent condition. I could not possibly praise the hotel high enough for making our stay perfect. I will happily return!
Our Maldives Tour was cancelled due to passport issue (negligence on my part😂). So after reading alot of good reviews with this Jumeirah Hotel and trying to forget Maldives we booked for 3d/2n here at one of their Villa (room 1709). Never thought that this exists in the heart of Dubai, the sorroundings, the trees, birds, waterway, the beach it is so magical! We went for Half Board option and ate dinner at Shimmers (by the Beach) and Perry & Blackwelders (Madinat). We didn't like the breakfast in Arboretrum. So on our 2nd day we tried the breakfast at the newly opened Al Naseem Hotel - The Palmery, although the ambience is much nicer, we didn't like the food either ( in comparison with Latitude Jumeirah Beach Hotel). Best deal for us is the ABRA tour of the so-called little Venice of Dubai. Everyday you can go to different places via ABRA and or BUGGY CAR. We also tried the amenities of Talise Spa since it is included in our itinerary for free. Good way to reduce stress and calm the nerves. Note: Each villas offer HAPPY HOUR every night at 6-8pm. Offering free drinks including wines and liquors. 😊 I super LOVE this hotel 💜.
no where beats the service in this hotel, we have stayed in the other Jumeirah hotels on the madinat & on the palm & this is our favourite. we have stayed in both the Arabian & gulf summerhouses. we stayed in villa number 1 gulf summerhouse which is directly on the beach & two mins walk from the main pool, & access to the madinat is a short walk over the bridge so we found we didn't need to use buggies & the boats much, i think we actually prefer the arabian villa around the front of the hotel so we can catch the boats to breakfast at al qasr. the rooms are massive & the beds comfortable. so much storage, more than you need. toiletries stocked twice daily & full size hairdryer & iron/ ironing board. wifi works everywhere & is free. paying the extra to stay in the dar is worth it for the 2 hour free bar 6-8 in your villa, if i am still getting ready you can takes drinks back to your villa. great to socialise & the butlers can't do enough for you. special thanks to Simon from Kenya (2012) we will be back next year
