Booked the suite with lounge access - no one bothered to tell us that the lounge was closed during our entire stay despite multiple interactions with the hotel prior to arrival. Concierge group was impossible to speak to on the phone, in advance, to arrange excursions. Was given excuses that they were short staffed due to COVID by their guest relations manager. Shoddy response for a hotel that promises five star facilities and services. Many restaurants in the complex were closed. There was no prior notice given to us. We were made to believe that Dubai is open and the hotel website also made no mention of these closures, reduced services.
The hotel was phenomenal. Cleanliness, attention to detail and customer service were all exceptional. We had an amazing time.
