Hotel was a Lat minute booking we thought with the title we were at the JBR, our mistake. Location not the best, hotel is a bit dated, staff OK, but Breakfast was shambolic, won't be using this hotel again

you need to make your house keeping much better i was really not happy with my stay and never stay in this hotel again , the lobby is very poor , the swing pool very small . i will not recommend this hotel to any of my friends, iam sorry to say that but this is what i felt hope that you get to rotana standard which i know

Comfortable. Breakfast area needs to be expanded during busy times as we waited 15 minutes to get a table. Housekeeping should pick up laundry bags each day as we had our laundry delayed by one day and had to call reception to get it collected.

Rested together with his son. The first impression about the hotel was that it looks gloomy. But then the friendly and friendly attitude of the staff. While we do not speak English well enough, everything was clear and accessible. The rooms are clean, cleaned regularly and efficiently. Breakfasts are delicious and the service is not intrusive and affable. I liked that not a lot of people in the hotel, no one interfered. The hotel has a shuttle to the beach, but you can walk 20 minutes by foot. The beach is very good. Best of all, on which we were in Dubai. On the roof there is a swimming pool, but very small, only for children. The gym very much. The spa wanted and massage, but very expensive. The location of the hotel we are very satisfied. Not as crowded as in Dubai Marina, there are no construction sites nearby, many small shops and cafes. And near the mall, where prices are cheaper than in the center. The streets are clean, the metro can also be reached on foot. We are very grateful to the hotel staff for the good rest. We did not regret that we chose this hotel.

There were MANY problems with the room regarding electronic equipment. the dvd player was faulty. The room lost power. At least two of the lamps didnt work. Seperate from this the lighting overall in the room was terrible (due to 'mood lighting') and the bathroom so dark I had to buy a torch so I could see enough to shave-not joking! This is not consistent with a five star status. Also, the air conditioning needs to be sorted out or guests warned in advance that it only goes up to 22 degrees, as this is too cold for many people. Even your staff didnt know this and only the desk manager did. And he was a bit flippant about it, claiming it was "not like in Europe". Well, last year I stayed in the Caribbean, and in their hotels their heating went up tp 27 degrees! That's certainly not in Europe. And it is certainly a warm country. ALSO the breakfast service was terrible-every day I had to ask at least three times for a cup of tea before anybody remembered as they kept forgetting-it was not due to being busy. However, another problem WAS that there were not enough tables when it did get busy, so there was nowhere to sit. Surely the answer is to stagger the breakfast times according to where someone is from so it fits with their time zone, so less people turn up at once? just offer each guest a time slot of one and a half hours then youd have less people at once to deal with. Also, the food was often cold, as was the tea. The whole breakfast area needs a radical overhaul. The wide selection of food was good though. Otherwise it was a very good place, really good. Just let down by some simple things.The rest of the staff were brilliantly polite, courteous, helpful and efficient, and apart from the electrics, the room itself was fantastic and HUGE with an incredible view! So it pains me to not be able to say this hotel was brilliant. It COULD be though, with just a little simple work done. Come on guys, you deserve it as you are close to being so great!

Carefree staff. Non of the departments answered the phone. To request room service had to call reception thrice and even after that a request for a bucket of ice took 45mins for delivering to the room. Rooms were very good. Cleanliness 4 out of 5. But just to keep the room clean the housekeeping staff took away all the glasses and did not even bother to replace or clean it. Overall experience not that great.

, its been a nice trip and we enjoyed our staying in this hotel, people there are professionals and helped us in spending joyful times in Dubai by arranging different activities and visits very gladly.e

Service was poor from all staff except Merry, she was very polite, always happy and smiling, a shame the others couldnt take a leaf from her book. All inclusive is not recommended, i would opt for breakfast only if i was to advise, nothing wrong with the food but all served like a breakfast buffet throughout the day. Oh and you can only order 1 icecream between 2 people. Rooms serviced as and when and poorly with basic consumables not being replaced. I would say if you have not booked it yet then dont. After staying at other Rotana hotels i thought that they would all be of the same standard, but i thought wrong. Shame as rooms are good and hotel is nice too. Just lacking good staff with customer service skills, and efficiently working

Very good facility located near to the business area and near to the beach also, not a waling distance but not too far. Nice room for a quick stay or business trip and it is of good value. The staff were not very friendly maybe tired but in general the service was bad and slow.

Money wise is okay but service wise is bad. I expected better customer service as per my experience with Rotana. I am customer for Rotana for more than 16 years and expected all Rotana service is standard till we use this service. The only good thing was the price including the trip
