Ticks the boxes for 5 star but no greater than 3 star. Tried booking into restaurants but couldn’t get in. The one we managed to get in to had no record of the booking made by front desk. The hotel is quite far iut from Dubai so needs to be at the top of its game but it falls short. This is the sort of hotel where you see people running to put towels down on the loungers as the sun rises.

We really enjoyed our visit and found it very peaceful and relaxing as a great contrast to the tempo and intensity in Dubai! It is a family friendly resort with a lot of great activities for all ages! Good food in a lot of variety of restaurants on the hotel area

My wife and I stayed here for 4 nights for the start of our honeymoon. Hotel is nice and clean and all the staff very friendly. Cold drinks served on arrival and our cases waiting in our room for us when we got there. Would have no complaints about our room, we stayed in room 251 which had a nice sea view and was cleaned well everyday by the room attendants. There's a good selection of food available for breakfast, lunch and dinner in the buffet restaurant or the captains bar outside are the 2 restaurants we used during our stay and the food was fresh and served quickly. Good selection of drinks available also from bars for all inclusive. The bar on 7th floor has a nice atmosphere with a band playing and drinks served to us by the very pleasant Miriam, nothing was too much trouble for her and she gave us snacks with our drinks etc. There's various activities on during the day aswell and you can go on boat tours or a sea plane from the side of the hotel. There's crazy golf too. The beach is nice and clean and raked everyday also with boats, waterboards etc for hire if that's your thing. Theres buses from the hotel that take you into Dubai if you want to go into one off the many shopping malls, restaurant's or to the Batteux boat cruise which we did on Xmas night. Would recommend this as the food was great with a friendly atmosphere taking in the sights of Dubai while eating our Xmas dinner. We got the bus from hotel to shooters restaurant one evening and the food and service was fantastic. Would highly recommend this restaurant. If shopping is your thing then go to Dubai mall, it's massive and would probably take a full day or two to get around it all to be honest. There's a fantastic aquarium in there too. There's a fountain show at the mall, just at the bottom off the Burj, we found it quite hard to see the 3 minute show as there was people everywhere trying to get a glimpse so if you want a good view of the show be there early. We had a fantastic time at the Jabel Ali beach hotel and wished we could have stayed longer. Would definitely stay here again.

This is our second visit to this hotel and stay on the 5th floor .. peacock lounge. What can I say ..... our family had an amazing Xmas holiday. From arrival being treated like a VIP to the final morning everything was perfect. The staff were a credit to your hotel and they all remembered up from our visit in May. Lea the cleaner. The pool man and lifeguard through to Karim we loved talking to them all and should be proud of your staff. If you are thinking of visiting this hotel do it! All inclusive best value and we stayed in the superior garden room which was definitely worth the money. We will be back in May see you soon love Tammy, Paul and Owen xx

Stayed for one week over new year , And all I can say is wow and well done From start to finish nothing was to much trouble and the staff were outstanding , food was second to none ! New Year’s Eve was amazing , no expense spared

Location of this hotel is about 1 your from dubai airport. Check in was quick and fresh drinks provided. They should provide a map of the hotels restaurants/facilities as we didn't know where anything was. Shooters restaurant is a must, best steak I've ever eaten. Free bus takes you there it's about 10 mins drive. The beach area is clean and towels are provided for the loungers. The beach bar/restaurant has a great food and drink menu, lots of premium drinks included. We went all inclusive which was definitely worth the money as it is expensive. Food in the beach bar is excellent and fresh and quick service from the waiters. There's a bar on the 7th floor which does great cocktails served by the very friendly Miriam, they supply fresh nuts and snacks with your drinks and have a band playing. We were only here 4 nights and wished we could have stayed longer. The main buffet for breakfast and dinner was great and had so much choice. Would definitely return.

The trip was arranged for xmas. We have been here 5 times before so to go this time and have the experiences we had was very disappointing. We arrived in the Wednesday 20th December ready for xmas. We have stayed in palm tree court but prefer the fifth floor in the hotel. On arrival we asked for to upgrade to a suite which they said they didn’t have , so that was fine. We had the package which included breakfast, beverages throughout the day in the lounge and also evening drinks from 6pm till 7. We asked for a price to upgrade which was 2,000 British pounds for myself and husband ! We did upgrade but thought it was very very costly for 9 nights on top of what we had paid. We also asked if we could pay the amount what it would cost to use the jasmine pool, no this was not an option. The pools we could use the sun beds are very sheltered, very very low to the floor and the pools are far too small for the capacity of the hotel. We ended up on the grassed area, no one helped with sun beds or towels. The pools were over run with kids and people there was no where to chill at all. They would bring the kids club to the grassed area daily, which they had a massive area for kids so why bring them to where people were trying to be quiet was riddicoulous. The food is very good, the white orchid and the manager are really outstanding, in fact if it was not for him we would have left Minh sooner than we did. We went to shooters had a table booked for 9pm, went at 8-15 to have drinks first, 9 came they apparently did not have a table for 3 as our daughter joined us for the xmas period from the 23rd. Eventually we got a table, the meal was great. We asked to book a taxi back to the hotel they said the bus will be here in 25 mins, we said no we will pay for a taxi can you ring!, 20 mins later no taxi they said but the bus comes soon. We made it perfectly clear we did not want the bus and to order the taxi. Eventually the taxi came when he came he told us it had only just been rang. The xmas eve gala was booked and all set up because of unforeseen weather conditions fog! they had to cancel and have in the restaurants. The question were massive took 45 mins to an hour to get seated, drinks were a real struggle too they were not catering for the amount of people they had. The hotel is really tired it all needs revamping, the service from some is really poor. The pools are not easily accessible slopes all over, also full of children, sheltered areas which we don’t like. The jasmine pool is great for us as it is easy to access and sun beds are comfier or were. The worst part is we are refused but yet there were guests from our floor using that area daily ! We finally checked out 2 days earlier as by this time it had gone past putting it right. We are taking this up with our travel company and are expecting a full explanation as this hotel is far from cheap, and is not a 5 star hotel by any means. Feel so sad to write this review.

We stayed in the hotel on our honeymoon for five nights. The staff at the hotel were really helpful and were available for any query we had. We were made feel very special as it was our honeymoon during our stay. Housekeeping were fantastic. Breakfast was super, there was literally everything you would ever want for breakfast and it was available until 11am which was great! the hotel itself is quite far out however the courtesy busy is a welcome addition and is available to take you into and out of Dubai each day. we really enjoyed our stay.

I booked through BA Holidays. Was good value and peace of mind seeing as there were 14 of us for one week! I cannot fault this hotel and resort. It is simply lovely! We had most of rooms on the ground floor with ground balconies opening out onto the gardens before the outside restaurants and beach areas (Rooms 901-912). Bathrooms are excellent with best power shower I have experienced. These are spacious and kept to a fantastically clean quality thanks to the room servants working hard all day. Beds are really comfortable. All inclusive package is very good and allows peace of mind with so many of us in the group. Most food and drinks offered are within the package. Shooters restaurant off campus is simply out of this World, all 14 of us spent 3 of the 7 nights we were there at this brilliant restaurant. Food is to die for... Divas fish restaurant also very good. Captains Table restaurant very good also. As was the Sport's Bar towards the golf club. All included in our package. Beach is awesome with loads of sun beds and DEV working so hard making sure all users are happy with bed position, shade etc. Pool area needs some tender loving care and usual idiots putting out towels early to hold them all day - can't get away from this unfortunately - mainly Germans and there are a lot of these Nationals staying at this hotel... The on site golf course - absolutely wonderful! Although only a 9 hole course, if you don't play off the forward White tees, 18 holes is still a treat. I am a 2 handicapper and loved every minute of my 3 rounds of 18 holes during my stay. There are black tees for one 9 and blue tees for the second 9 making the same 9 holes slightly different in length. The condition is brilliant, slick, true greens with immaculate fairways. Take the first hole for example - a 582 yards par 5! So good... We had planned to go off and play Els Club and one of the Emirates courses but as this lovely on site course was so good, we decided to play it 3 times rather than waste time and money going elsewhere - just wasn't necessary. Only slight negative on the hotel set up is there should be an area for drinks before and after evening meals. 7th floor bar is excellent (although only for 21 year olds), as is Captains Table outside (last orders is at 10.30pm) but feel there should be another drinking hole directly off the hotel lobby. We would arrive back from Shooters restaurant for example and as a party of 14, ages ranging from 69 to 14, wanted to go somewhere and have a nightcap. No where to go if the time was 10pm which was common. A quite brilliant resort and the staff work tirelessly to make it an unforgettable experience. Well done JA Jebel Ali Beach Hotel!.
