Very friendly service at the Club lounge by Aidara who makes my wife and I feel very welcome during our last stay in Dubai end of june .The hotel is back to his former great environment with the adjacent shopping mall at Festival city operating almost to full capacity .Very convenient link from the hotel into Robinsons .Can enjoy great shopping experience without leaving the air conditioning environment .
Nice hotel, fantastisk buffet, great service, but the location is on the wrong side of the river. The shopping mall next to the hotel is OK, but nothing special.. On the positive side is it 8min away from the airport..
I have stayed here three times in the last 3 months and all I can say it is one of my favourite IC Hotels. Again, the Middle East and Far East seem to give so much more value for money than the West. If you are an IC Ambassador you will get your money’s worth at this hotel. This hotel is very close to the airport, which is convenient for me. Due to my flights, I arrived early. However, my room was already available for me to use. When I arrived at the hotel, I was greeted by one of the staff outside and taken straight to my room (which was an upgrade, due to being an IC Ambassador). If you are an Ambassador, you also have the option to check in at reception or the Club Lounge (on the 26th floor). Check in was quick and I was offered a tour of the suite I was upgraded to. There was a welcome gift (you have a choice of fruit, sweet or savoury as an Ambassador) and lots of complimentary water (which seems rare these days, you normally only get a free bottle or two, if you’re lucky). The one bedroom suite which was very spacious had a living area (which had a cloak room), a separate bedroom and then a separate bathroom. The living area very comfortable and had great views of the creek and surrounding buildings. The bedroom was also a large room with a walk-in closet area. In the bathroom, the bath had a view of the creek. There was also a shower / wet room available. I have also been upgraded to a two bedroom suite and the President’s suite on my other stays, which we very large rooms. If you have access to the Club Lounge (on the 26th Floor), you can have Breakfast, High Tea and Cocktails / Canapés. The staff in the Club Lounge were fantastic. They are very friendly and looked after me very well. I do rate the staff at this Club Lounge as the best of all the IC Hotels (7-8 hotels) I have stayed at. I found all the staff at this hotel very friendly and helpful. Room service and Housekeeping were excellent. The hotel had a number of restaurants / bars for you to choose from. Note for smokers, you can smoke in two of the bars, Vista and Eclipse. Vista is on the ground floor and also has an outside area. Eclipse is on the 26th floor, next to the Club Lounge. There is a Mall next to the hotel which has most of popular brand named shops and a number of restaurants. All in all, I felt very welcomed here and thoroughly enjoyed both my stays here. I have already booked my next stay and looking forward to returning here soon.
I've been fortunate enough to visit this hotel on 3 occasions. The last of which was my 18th last September. I can't find one fault it is simply the best hotel I've ever stayed in and would recommend to anyone! My favourite place in the hotel is admittedly the "Anise" restaurant which has the best quality and best variety of food its is slight biased as I am a fan of Buffet restaurants. The food in any of the restaurants is spectacular including the pool bar. I'm hoping to go back soon and looking forward to when I do so!!
Iftar at Anise is one of the best experiences I had this Ramadan. The international menu leaves you overwhelmed because of the variety of options. Everything , Everything, tasted soo good ! My favorite cuisines were the Japanese and The Arabic ones .. and I loved the ICe Cream live station ! I highly recommend you do your booking ahead of time since it gets crazy the last minute. It's amazing for family as well. As for the staff, they were super friendly despite the huge hungry crowds. (BTW look for Shaima, she's super nice) And don't forget to end the day with the amazing Arabic coffee . Try this place and thank me later !
Very pleasant stay. The room was very spacious and comfortable. Bathroom had a big bathtub with outside view. The buffet included great quality food with options from almost all world cuisines. Its connected to a mall within walking distance. Definitely very satisfied with the stay and easily recommend it to anyone.
My wife and I stayed at the InterContinental Dubai Festival City for three nights in April 2017. Our room was very good with nice views over the Creek. Breakfast in the Anice restaurant was extremely good with an excellent range of food. We ate twice in the Choix Patisserie & Restaurant and the food was outstanding. There is an extensive pool area but it tended to get crowded very quickly. Overall, I would recommend this hotel.
The intercontinental hospitality grand and majestic as always. Well appointed rooms, a set of excellent restaurants and bars, the walk along the marine bay behind the hotel and the proximity to the shops nearby and the small boat rides. The helicopter rides over Dubai start from here.
Stayed here for 19 days (last week April 2017 to mid-May 2017 and there has never been a disappoint or lousy service that I've experienced in this hotel. Every details seems to me are perfect. Fast service and they pay special attention to your needs. When I requested for late check out at 6:00pm without any hesitation the supervisor has granted my request - they anticipated my request coz they knew that I have a late flight. Food, wide array of international cuisine. Super like their fresh/healthy detox/fruit juices. Location wise for me it's just fine and it's link to the mall. Ask me if I want to go back in this hotel? My answer is Yes!
I am never disappointed with the IC Festival City. From the moment one arrives, one is treated as an honored guest, be it from the doorman that treats you at the entrance to the staff at reception. I really enjoyed my stay there over the weekend and I certainly enjoyed taking some time off at the spa (well worth a visit). The staff were helpful and the massages were fantastic.
