I was at this hotel for 5 nights. The staff are so friendly. They help us so much. When we arrived there in reception miss Li Yan help us so much and I want special thanks of her. The rooms were so spacious, clean and comfortable. The pool was good also. The braekfast was great. I suggest this hotel. I had a graet time there. I want to thanks mr gholam and mr hossein too.
Stayed at the ambassadors suite and it was lovely. Had a personal butler which we hardly used. The space was fantastic for a family size. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. Lounge had fab breakfast and afternoon teas. Also connected to the festival city mall who h had everything u need to buy
We stayed for three nights enroute to Europe with our three children under ten. Check in staff were mindful of the very long journey we had just undertaken and managed to secure our suite despite us checking in at 8am. This was very much appreciated. Everyone, from the concierge to the staff at Anise, the Vista bar as well as the poolside staff were very accommodating and ensured our needs were catered for at all times. The gym is fantastic and staff there very attentive. It is so very refreshing to stay at a hotel (with three children) with exceptional customer service. Well done to all at the InterContinental Dubai FC. We will most certainly come back.
My wife and I needed a break and so spent a week at the IC Festival City where we knew we would be well catered for. We were not disappointed. Yet again we had a wonderful, relaxing time. Everyone (and I mean everyone) appears to want to offer excellent customer service. The Club facilities are top rate, the pool area is a great place to chill, the spa is absolutely first class, Anise restaurant is excellent for breakfast, I just can't praise the place enough. From arrival (greeted by Abdul Qadeer - overflowing with help and assistance throughout our stay) to departure - and everything in between - there was not one single thing we found below a five star rating. As for location - it could not be better - 10 minutes from the airport, away from the hustle along the coast or the noise of the city, and yet convenient for a top shopping mall and also a short walk to the dramatic and awe inspiring water, light and fire show - "Imagine"
We spent 3 nights here before joining a cruise. Our room was fabulous with a great view over the water with the fantastic fountain & light shows. The staff were all very pleasant, friendly & helpful. On our tour breakfast was included and what a breakfast! A superb choice of many different cuisines. The location was great a reasonably short taxi ride from downtown or a ;short boat ride & 5 minute stroll took you to a metro station from where you could reach the old town or change to another line for the Dubai Mall. At Festival City we had our own big mall with a great variety of restaurants & shops including a great department store.
Not only for being a well known chain this intercontinental is located in such a great location ..u have festival city mall which connected to the hotel and have an easy access to it ...restaurants are great and operated by well know chefs ..the room rate is great ...and it's located in heart of Dubai ...it's a bit business hub yet it's great for family diffidently will recommend this to new visitors to Dubai
13 July chicken in lost my bag no employee cares about me socially duty manger , I spent more than 2 hours looking for my bag .they found my bag after I call the police they checked there cam . Mistakes happen but I haven't seen in my life hotel don't care about Clint like this hotel.
My self, wife and my 22-year son stayed in two rooms in the same floor. Our experience was very good. The cleanliness is great and staff were absolutely mannerfull. I loved having the hotel connected to a beauitiful mall with several resturants. The morning breakfast is also excellent with staff that are well trained and friendly. I loved the colorful uniform. The thing to pay attention to is the window blinds which need changed as soon as possible. Also, I am recommending for a larger prayer room with descent furniture
Talk about being pampered, WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Practically anything you wanted or wanted to know was there for there asking. They moved the Ambassador Club checking from it's own little private desk to a counter in the main lobby. The Club Intercontinental room check in is still on the 26th floor, next to the Club Intercontinental. The staff at the club desk always stood up to talk to you unless they had to access their laptop for information. The check in process was smooth and easy. I had to leave to make a nature call and they were done by the time I returned. I received an upgrade to a club 1 bedroom suite for being an Ambassador Club member. The room was bright and large. It was a bit smaller than the last room I had in the hotel, but large by any standard. The 1 bedroom suites I have stayed in at this hotel have 1 1/2 bathrooms. A quite large (the size of most hotel rooms) master bath and a mini bathroom by the front door. The TV's are on stands so if you want to connect a USB device to watch movies or use the TV as a computer monitor, you can. Expect housekeeping to check on you 3 or 4 times a day and the floor supervisor once. The club room is nice and has breakfast, afternoon tea and evening "happy hour". All 3 have set menus the afternoon and evening menus change daily. There is also a buffet for all 3 periods. Breakfast does have eggs to order. The omelettes were most excellent. The hotel is attached to the Festival City Mall via Robinson's (which was being constructed the last time I stayed at the hotel. I wish to commend the entire Club Intercontinental desk personnel for their service and professionalism. I forgot to write their names down, but all were were most excellent in their service.
