Very friendly front desk staff especially big thanks to a receptionist FAIZAN, very helpful, hotel is nice, clean, near to metro, some staff should be trained such as housekeeping, other than that all is fine like 5 star
I stayed here for 2 nights with friends, On arrival the reception staff tried to claim that the costs per room was 1,700 Dirhams per room in stead of for both rooms, after some discussion the receptionist realized that we were right, they then said we had only booked one room, this issue was eventually resolved. They blamed the system, but we booked via the Tulip system and proved this with the printed off booking form. The next morning I was told that breakfast was not included, on departure we had a lengthy discussion with reception who insisted that breakfast was not included, we showed them our printed off booking form and Tulips own website, after some lengthy debate and a few heated words with a rude lady receptionist who appeared to be the supervisor they agreed that we were indeed right and that breakfast was included. Conclusion about some of the staff, product and customer service training is required. The breakfast that I had was not good quality of choice especially for 70 Dirhams if it had not be included in the room. Positives, good size room, clean
Friendly staff, good experience and a cool place to hangout with friends at the bar. Easy access to the hotel and good service at the bar makes it another place to keep visiting for drinks and just meet ups.
This hotel has the rudest most unprofessional staff I have ever encoutered. Very poor customer service, the way the respond to the slightest of requests is terrible and their managers are always busy and in meetings so they never attend to customer’s queries. The facilities are very poor too. All in all I would highly recommend NOT staying here or bothering as there is a wealth of better and cheaper options in Dubai.
Golden Tulip in Al Barsha is a very neatly maintained hotel with very helpful managing team. Restaurant provides ample variety of items to chose for Breakfast and dinner. Hotel is very close to Sharaf DG Metro Station (approx 800m). All the attractions of Dubai are easily reachable using Metro. From Airport terminal 3 it costs about 10.5AED for a person to reach Sharaf DG in about 1hr time. Same distance if you travel by RTA Taxy will cost almost 75AED.
I stayed in this hotel for 5 days, I met Ali at the front desk at my check in and he was very friendly, the male staff especially at the front desk are very friendly (mostly the ones available when I get there) room service and house keeping on point. I visited during Ramadan so prices were very pleasing..... Definitely going back when I visit Dubai.
To begin with the room size is great. Amenities could be better Check in was very dry. Staff “Emma” was like we’re doing a favour checking in. It took almost half an hour to check in. The shower works like it is on ration for water. AC sounds like it’s running a marathon Chairs would suit a concentration camp better Pillows seem to have been pressed under a road roller There are certainly better places in the vicinity and at the same price range Am currently staying here so best to avoid worst comments
all staff at the reception ewas very helpful and understand our expectation, The hotel has always lift problem every time ....maybe because the management changed ....and no action taken..we complain to reception but they cant do anything.
Went to this hotel in September and it was actually better than i thought it would be. The room given was spacious and clean. They have a nice rooftop pool which is quiet! Good for relaxing. The beds are Comfortable giving you a good nights sleep. There wasn't much noise from the locker room or the sports bar. The Morning/Afternoon staff are wonderful especially Lyn. Shes wonderful, If you need anything she will help you out no problem and actually seems like she wants to help you and make things better. Possibly the best receptionist ive ever come across. The breakfast could do with more variety however it was good enough for my stay. Also, the breakfast staff are lovely and polite. They have a '5GB' Wifi limit per device (max 2) in your room which i thought ran out alot quicker than 5GB usually would, however i got this reset by speaking to the reception. The late evening/early morning staff are terrible. Honestly if you have a problem wait till the morning. They are unhelpful, so rude and act like they own the hotel. One of the receptionist (Faizan) tried to 'do me over' and make me seem like i was dumb but when i returned with email evidence from the hotel he had no choice but to sort the problem out for me. Anyways apart from the problem with the late evening/early morning staff evening else was perfectly fine. Its a very good location so close to the metro too. Would definitely stay again.
An extremely disappointing Staycation! No Staff communication. Wrong room rate upon check in.Checked in to an occupied room by the reception. No wake up call upon request. Insufficient mobile phone charger facility.
