Within the Dubai Festival City there is a fantastic Hotel by ICH the Crown Plaza DFC, with employees who care about their customers and with management who take their time to make our and everyone's stay the most comfortable and relaxing as possible, This hotel and its sister hotel Intercontinental should be sitting on the Palm, but you know it doesn't need too, because they all caring people and with it's small facilities such as the sitting in jacuzzi pool facing the Dubai Skyline and Dubai Creek which has a wonderful view also now filling up with tour boats and access boats to many areas and also the DFC connect Mall via Robinsons new store with John Lewis stores, where we were given membership with a free gifts, really made our stay worth the visit just have good access to the mall, my work wife was even provided with a free makeup make over , especially since it was my wife's birthday the hotel did everything to make our stay pleasant and a surprising one, I must point out here that we even did not need to get car hire from the overwhelming Dubai airport, The Intercontinental has a Hertz car hire desk with rates that are cheaper than the airport just ask for Rajan this guy went out of his way to get us a better car when the car that arrived for us was damaged he rejected it straight away and personally took care of replacement car, also both head concierges at the Intercontinental and Crown Plaza, took the reigns and sorted out any issues that we had even providing my wife some lovely flowers by the team at Crown Plaza, which is a service given above and beyond the call of duty, thank you crown plaza and Intercontinental, this truly how to treat your guests! You will always be cherished in our hearts.

Well placed near Dubai airport, attached to the Dubai Festival Mall throughout a walkway via its sister IHG counterpart, the Intercontinental, Crowne has lots to offer. Food and shopping at your doorstep and a spectacular light and fountain show in the evenings with the Burj Khalifa providing the backdrop. Courteous staff, clean rooms, a pool deck overlooking the creek and a wonderful Belgian bar. What it lacks in food outlets, can be made up at the the Intercontinental or the DFC mall. Taxis heading downtown are plentiful, so location is not really a limiting factor.

5* hotel. Very nice, breakfast was excellent. Pool really nice (see pictures). A very busy Belgium beer bar - would recommend. Close to airport - so out of town. It is connected to intercontinental hotel next door and the large festival mall.

I had my son with me on this trip so decided to stay at the Crowne Festival Park... The rooms were spacious and modern. All the facilities were good. The TV was disappointing as there were very very few English speaking channels ( I'm comparing to other hotels I've stayed at in UAE). The Crowne, the Intercontinental, and the Festival Mall are all linked together, so it's a nice walk through. The Mall is weird though, as it's very quiet, with very few Western tourists, which is a pity, as it's yet another lovely mall if you are a shop explorer. Back to the Crowne... The pool was very nice. More simplistic than the Intercontinental, but we liked it more...but you can use either, so try had some great views over the wadi, and the amazing sight of huge wooden boats being built ( no noise, just view) ... The breakfast was pleasant, with a nice variety ( including Dim Sum , & Paratha , which was a personal hurrah moment!) The lifts were quick, and safe, as you must use your room card to use them.. Overall I'd have absolutely no problems recommending this hotel.... I was going to score this hotel 4, not 5, but my criticisms are of the quiet, less welcoming festival area, rather than the hotel itself. Ps. The beds and pillows were extremely comfortable..perhaps as good as anywhere I've stayed...

Stayed at crowne plaza for three nights staff are very attentive and helpful after being let down by our Virgin rep Jordan on the front desk gave us maps and great advice on things to do even giving us his personal metro cards out of his wallet to top up! Breakfast was first class selection of food and drink were excellent as was the level of service. Had a problem with our room which was resolved quickly with a free upgrade great touch. Hotel has great access to the festival mall. Only 10 minutes from the airport 6 minutes to the metro would recommend this hotel to everyone.

Stay for two nights on a stopover in Dubai. Located next to the intercontinental hotel and connected to the festival shopping mall. It offers very comfortable room with all the amenities for relaxation at a very decent price compared to many Dubai hotels. The breakfast is nice with great variety. The Belgian cafe on the ground floor offers options for lunch and dinner, as well as pub hang out in the evening. It's ideal for shopping and eat out at the festival city mall, and 10mins away from the Dubai mall. The staff are brilliant, genuinely caring and keen to make the guests happy. They won my heart. I will certainly return.

It's an unpretentious, sensible, clean, comfortable hotel directly connected to Festival City Mall. It's the no frills version of a luxury hotel. They provide all the expected essentials: clean spacious rooms, generous bathroom amenities, etc. But where they really win is with their staff who honestly seem to actually care about the quality of your stay in every regard. The breakfast is good too. The only minus is the semi-scratchy bath towels. Out of all the hotels we've stayed in over the last year, Crown Plaza Festival City offered by far and away, the best value for money, had the best trained staff, and operated the best billing practices in terms of fairness to guests paying with a debit card. When guests present debit cards at check in, the funds are immediately deducted from their account. With a credit card the funds are simply blocked. Knowing this full well, Crowne Plaza only deducts the actual cost of the number of nights stay, for guests paying with debit cards. They don't charge the upfront estimated extra because they know that it could take weeks for the guest to get the refund. They allow you to pay for the extras at the end of the stay. Many other hotels are also no doubt are aware of the anamoly facing debit card holders, but they do not give their guests this same consideration.

Room was very well appointed. Bed was comfy. Loads of amenities. Have a small problem with a light in the bathroom but it was taken care post haste. The concierge and hotel taxi were very helpful in my search for a new computer. A great hotel for a quick getaway.

Again, another successful visit - as ever the room was clean and well appointed with everything you would need... the staff were very attentive and the breakfast was absolutely fine... excellent value for money in Dubai

After 22 hours of flying with layovers my taxi arrived at this hotel. Was immediately greeted by the bell hop with smiles. Check-in was a breeze, they are so professional. Was told my rate included the breakfast buffet and without asking gave me a discount card for their signature restaurant, "Zaytoun." I was so hungry so I went. This was such an incredible treat even though I was solo. The service was impeccable, Sheyma was my server and always there for me with wonderful smiles and her service was complemented by Robin. I ordered the Arabian Set Menu #1 and was in heaven from the first bite of Grape leaf rolls and tabouli. I had completely forgotten about how tired I was. Breakfast in the morning was incredible as well. This hotel does not kid around with who they hire for chefs and service. I could only dream of this kind of excellence in the States. The gym has free weights, a steam room and showers. I LOVE this hotel!!!
