Location:on a main road. 15 minute walk from Insurance Market Metro Station. Easy to get around Dubai from this station.
Clean hotel, with small cafe at reception and a Mediterranean theme restaurant with opening for breakfast and lunch.
Housekeeping and maintenance need to up their game here.
Housekeeping: the iron in my room had a broken plug with wires exposed! Asked for a replacement, that too had a broken plug! When I pointed this out, the answer was, oh yes, customers break them!! Hello??! check before you delivery!!!!!
Maintenance: the shower / sink in the room had only lukewarm water come through, the maintenance guy came and ran the water for 10 minutes and said it’s better, it was not! I was then given some rubbish about circulation of water and to just run the water for 10 minutes every time!! NOT eco friendly!! When asked if other rooms had this issue, he said only some not all! I had to leave but told them it needed fixing by the time I came back. In the evening the same issue was there and the next maintenance man gave me the same nonsense! Upon complaining, I was moved to another room. The water was hot in this one, however the shower head would not stay in its holder , as the holder was broken! Another complaint and it was fixed later in the day. These incidents spoil an otherwise reasonable hotel.
Would I stay here again, yes if a bit more due care and attention is given to the general upkeep of the rooms.
