Arabian Ranches Golf Club

I often visit the Ranches Golf club, we like the restaurant, there are weekly meetings in the upstairs area with catered buffet and the hairdresser and nail salon which are housed there are both really good. I never really interacted with the lobby reception staff until today. I kindly asked them if I could leave a pre-stamped envelope with them containing a card to put in the mail. In any hotel I have been in in Dubai, or anywhere in the world, I am usually greeted with a smile and a “of course madam”. Here I received a look of disgust at my audacity to ask them for this service. The three people behind the desk basically told me NO. It wasn’t a polite no explaining that for whatever reason this service was not possible, or even a suggestion of where I could find the nearest mail box. To be clear, I was a paying guest at the club and they made me feel like I had no business there. I was on my way to an event at the club and both my friend who was with me and myself walked away speechless. Surely you can do better in training a polite response to any guest that happens to ask for help?

Ranches restaurant is a great place to end your day with a chilling background music that soothes the soul as you overlook the great patting ground and a fantastic sunset... meal were great served with good presentation... babyback rib were amazing en the mighty English breakfast....Marie was amazing en has great selling charm.. I gal was happy so do I... for sure we will be back again.. en will recommend the place...

I don’t usually write bad reviews but this is wholly warranted. Where to begin.. Staff were rude and unhelpful, we arrived at 7am for an 820 tee off and asked the starter if we could go off early (the course was literally empty and no one was around) as we were a 2 ball but got a resounding groan then a no and he just walked off! Wtf!!? The course itself was equivalent to a Public course in the UK. Bunkers (everywhere) had maybe an inch or two of sand; was like playing on concrete. There is construction happening on most holes and the greens were average at best, the fairways were a joke; weird grass that the club would just slide under and zero shade anywhere. 4 fairways were getting relaid and were unplayable. The 4 female members in front of us were so slow they backed up the whole course and in the 5+ hours we were there in 36 degree weather, no sign of a Marshall or ranger to keep pace. Kermal, the man with the drinks buggy (the only smile we saw all day), took it upon himself to ask the four ball to speed up.. they didn’t.. nor did they ask us to play through.. selfish selfish selfish. The sat nav on the buggy said at one point we were 28 minutes behind the pace. One woman averaged 25 seconds on each shot addressing the ball (we counted numerous times) the pros take their time I know, but instead of going 300 yards, her’s went about 30.. I’ve played hundreds of courses in my time and also scored in the hundreds no doubt, but this is the FIRST time in my life that I just wanted to walk in and call it a day. It’s worth spending another £50 and playing the Els Club (absolutely immaculate and the friendliest staff ever!) I’m not sure how any pro, never mind Ian Baker Finch, would want to be associated with this course. Condition aside, the atmosphere was just unfriendly, cliquy and actually a little intimidating.. not what you want for your holiday. AVOID AT ALL COSTS! The only positive was the lunch afterwards at a privately owned restaurant which adjoins the club house. If I could give a 0/5 rating, I would.

Arabian Ranches is a very quiet, green and beautiful community. The location of the hotel within this community is very good. The property itself is new, clean, comfortable and has good views. Service is good.

An absolutely appalling trip to the Ranches this past weekend. Charging AED 475 to play on a course that is 50% sand and 50% brown hard grass is more like playing on a municipal course which in most countries doesn't cost more than $20-30 whereas this course is charging $125. There were no balls on the practice range before we played as the ball collection cart was "not working sir" and practicing off a plastic mat before playing when I am forking out $125 to play is simply unacceptable. A simply cool drink (Energade) on the course which costs AED 8-10 anywhere else costs AED 30 (nearly $8 for sugar and water)! The greens are tiny to save water and condition of the course was appalling. Not often I feel utterly ripped off after playing golf.

The 4 of enjoyed our evening at the Arabian Ranches Hotel restaurant. Food was well cooked and very good portion sizes. Well worth a visit and if possible eat outside and enjoy the ambience. Only down side was the live music was a little loud

We spend a dinner outside with 20 degrees at might night ' We eat arabic and asian food . Everything were excellent even the view and the atmosphere. If the restaurant can provides coversheet during the night it would be perfect.

Loved this little boutique hotel in Dubai. The rooms were very nice and clean but we spent all day golfing and all night drinking and eating. We stayed here for 4 days. It is a great place for couples, friends, and family. Their golf equipment and courses are well maintained as well as heir rooms and lobby in this hotel. The staff were great and very hospitable. Whenever I come to Dubai I will definitely make it my destination to stay away from the cities hustle and bustle. I cannot say more cause I simply had a great time and loved everything about it. See you next year!

The Ranches restaurant with its new chef has brought out a new mix of exotic flavours well represented in its seafood and meat mains. Great presentation and greater service. The staff are well trained and well informed. Keep it up.

Stayed in the hotel for 4 nights. Great room, very comfortable and staff excellent. Restaurant very good with wide choice and very good quality. Will return and worth a visit. Would like to have played golf as the course looked very good but it was too hot and humid.
