It was perfect and excellent in everything ,nice buffet breakfast ,well lightening in the rooms,good security provided,good internet/wifi connectivity,clean swimming pool,nice hotel decor,well linked up of your visitors.
great place to stay with a restaurant, separate bar and entertaining area. Friendly, helpful staff. There is a medium sized pool and gym. I wouldn't recommend for couples with children. Not a lot for them to do that is close.
Excellent hotel with very friendly staffs...staff nishaad at the concierge; ram and liam at the restaurant are extremely friendly and helpful...we have been given provided with an upgrade to junior suite...
Very nice property will come and stay again. Courteous staff. Good location. Need more English movie and news channels. Need more elaborate South Indian breakfast. Sofas in the suite room can be changed or refurbished.
I booked this as at the time it was a Movenpick, but it has changed hands and is now Avina. It did not bode well, when I asked them to book me a taxi from the airport they wanted a photo copy of my Pass port and my credit card - for. A$40 cab ride. The entire experience on arrival was disappointing, the fridge wouldn't close ( I was promised immediate attention - this never happened - eventually I worked out if you lifted the door it would close over the screw that was sticking up proud of the base). The fittings were loose, scratched or rotting, I will try and add my photos later The bar at night was empty and sad. The concierge had no idea, I asked for a taxi to the Dubai Mall, he sent me on a bus to some obscure mall - basics. The concierge had no idea on things to do - had never heard of the hop-on-hop-off bus. Breakfast was good. location a bit out of the way. I would not recommend
I stayed in this hotel last year and I was very happy and satisfied of the service so this year I decided to go back. II will recommend this hotel to my friends and family Because the service was excellent everyone was very friendly and welcoming.
My family had already booked a room at this hotel for a week. The staff where really helpful when I arrived to the hotel, a special thanks to Hesham who was patient with my booking of a second room on sight. Can recommend booking a room where the 'afternoon tea ' is included. The pool at the roof of the hotel is small but it's not an issue what so ever since the hotel will give you a free ride out to the palm where you can enjoy the , beach, sea and infinity pools. I have been to Dubai many times and would rather come back here to the more vibrant part of the town compared to be staying on the palm or close to Jumeirah beach
I stayed in Dubai for a business conference and decided to avoid the massive, new, Western, business/touristic hotels elsewhere in town. This turned out to be a very good choice. Location: not the place to go sightseeing, busy crossroad (but I doubt if you find a quiet place anywhere in Dubai), in older part of Dubai, close to the airport (yes, you will hear planes), easy connections via taxi or modern metro (I used both), local supermarkets and some other hotels around the corner. Audience: mix of business people and tourists. Couples, families, business people. Mix of nationalities. During my stay mostly Asian and some other (Western, African) (I guess...). Hotel: spacious room, free water bottles every day, fitness room, roof-top (6th floor) swimming pool, good dinner options and breakfast. The bar is not the typical hotel bar but a sports bar with TV screens (Premier League), pool billiart, music etc. (I found it a good alternative for the mostly dull hotel bars...). Most importantly, friendly and helpful staf in all parts of the hotel: from concierge services to the guys at the pool! And since I travelled for business and felt no need to go out for dinner alone at night, Tawhidur, Razzak and Hanka provided excellent service and pleasant company, and made the hotel bar and restaurant a warm welcome and pleasant haven after a busy day!
Location not to far from airport, hotel offers free shuttle to Dubai Outlet Mall, From the time we arrived at the hotel Fuwad took care of our suitcases from delivery, to collecting from our room,in a very friendly manner,he loved his cricket. We booked a club room which we would recommend, price included an airport greeting from and to the airport, use of the Club Lounge which included afternoon tea,nibbles and drinks from 7pm to 9pm with the very nice and polite Vincent, free wifi and breakfast.Great value.
I stayed three nights at Avani . Property is very neat and clean.Front desk staff is very helpful beyond expectations.All staff is very welcoming.Next time for sure I will stay here.God bless Avani.location is very suitable for travelling by Metro.The best thing free free free valet parking.
