I stayed 10 days and had a good experience. The apartment was specious and clean and the staff members were helpful. The location was also good (5 minutes walk from the metro station). The area where the hotel is situated had shops, cafes, restaurants, hair salons...
Lovely staff, clean and bright place. Hot water is limited for a shower in the morning to be honest, but I never told them. Annoying, very annoying having to re log in to WIFI every day (staying for a month) especially when told I didn't have to do this. Issues with Wi-Fi as it doesn't let me log into my work database but everywhere else does? Like the place. Could do better but really okay. A bridge across the "pond" could be help rather that walking forever to the bridge to get to the marina. Not their problem though.
First of all, we absolutely loved this hotel. We thought it was very convenient for the Metro station and Dubai Marina, although JBR is a bit of a walk away (it took us about 40 minutes but that was at strolling pace and stopping for coffee etc), but it only takes 5 minutes in a taxi and costs around DHS 20.00. We went to the beach several times during our stay and always used a taxi, they are easy to find outside the hotel, and if not, the concierge will call one for you. The rooms are huge, and it was an absolute God-send having so much space when we fell ill and weren’t able to leave the apartment for a few days. It was also great being able to use the mini-supermarkets (Zoom) nearby so we were able to stock up on everyday essentials to make breakfasts and lunches in the convenience of our own little apartment. It really was like a home-from-home. While we were feeling under the weather we got a couple of takeaways from the local restaurants surrounding the hotel (anyone who has been to JLT knows that every block has plenty of them on the ground floor level), we can recommend the Lebanese restaurant directly joined to the hotel and also the pizza place. Obviously in both these places you can still ‘sit in’ and enjoy the view around the lake as well. One small point we noticed about the kitchen supplies, it was lacking a few basic things such as tea-towels, oven gloves and (strangely enough) bowls! There was only one large salad bowl which I had to use for cereal which I found a bit bizarre! Also our bedroom curtains didn’t fully close properly, we managed to fashion a way to pull them across using a couple of hair clips, not ideal, but not a big problem either. As far as housekeeping goes, I don’t really know why they are getting a hard time on reviews. We found that they came every day without fail, cleaned all our dishes, mopped the floors, made the bed etc. Ok, they didn’t change the towels or bed-linen but I am sure they would if we had asked. One day the cleaner was there while we were sitting on the balcony and he noticed that we were coughing and blowing our noses a lot, so he kindly said about the change of environment and wished us a speedy recovery….the next day we found a couple of extra bottles of water and boxes of tissues left out for us which I thought was a nice touch I think his name was Moses. The hotel reception staff were also very helpful when we spoke to them, no issues whatsoever, and always smiled and said hello when we walked past. Not sure why some people found them ‘dis-interested’. The rooms are very quiet and if you can get a high floor the views are great across the lake and looking out onto the Marina. Hint: We found the Marina nightlife to be lacking any kind of atmosphere, I think the secret is to go to the top hotels for a nice restaurant and views, otherwise you will be hounded by street-touts practically chasing you down the street. JBR is nicer atmosphere for families/couples wanting to dine out and you don’t get any hassle. Also, the JBR beach beds are very expensive, DHS 195.00 for 2 beds, a parasol and table. You are free to take a towel and just lay on the sand for free which we only tried on the last day and found that it wasn’t as uncomfortable as you might think!
It was my 1st business trip to Dubai and i decide this hotel due to the location. As my office is in Jumeira Lake Towers...there are alot of buildings in jlt. Hotel is walking distance from office. Huge room n living room area n big kichen n 2bathrooms Wonderful stay!
Stayed in this hotel, first week of February and it was a 2 bedroom apartment. The staff, bellboy and manager were very accommodating. We had a great experience. This was my second time here. Our room had a kitchen with the basic utilities and washing machine and as we were with a baby these things were very important. We went for a little shopping trip, would come to the hotel late at night and will always get a bellboy to take our things up. One thing that was disappointing was the cleaning part. Housekeeping was not upto par. Only, when I complained did they improved their service. If you are planning to stay let them know beforehand about how many towels you need and tissue boxes to be replenished. The view is great and it's accessibility is the best part. Lots of restaurants, grocery stores nearby. Jbr is 5 mins away and so is Marina .
The apartment was well decorated and designed with big rooms, well stocked kitchen, modern bathrooms and fantastic views. Staff are a bit distant/not very friendly but polite enough. Location was pretty good to get to most areas/tourist attractions.
Stayed a lengthy stay here and loved the modern decor and the price was good. BUT twice and the only times I requested wake up calls. Nothing happened! They weren't even attempted! As a result an important meeting was missed and the other occasion a flight was I had to take I never managed to make! Do not offer such services if you can't do simple tasks that every other hotel in the industry can do. I was working late and knowing I had such important commitments the next morning early I asked on these two occasions and both was the same as the other. I complained deeply after the second time because I could not believe this had happened again, thinking the first time was a simple mistake. The mistake is, the staff aren't trained as hotel staff. Do not expect hotel standards from front desk staff here they are merely porters if that. The final straw was they gave my full name out to a caller to the hotel who only had my room number. IMAGINE how they could have compromised my privacy. Never again can I stay somewhere who doesn't value they're guests importance on privacy or value they're time. Shocked to the core from those experiences. They are the type of staff who deny any wrong doing and act dumb. I can't accept this either so I had to leave.
In the very heart of JLT you will have a view of amazing lake and private villas. Rooms are spacious and well equipped. We are staying here almost a month and really enjoying it. Staff is nice, especially housekeeping young Filipino girl(sorry don't know her name), she is very welcomed and with great attitude. Thank you👏🏻🌈🦋
The apartments are very spacious and extremely well maintained. Honestly overkill for a single traveler but I certainly wasn't complaining. Lots of shops and restaurants within walking distance and good WiFi and air conditioning. Staff was generally quite friendly and helpful.
Overall decent experience. No hotel restaurant, can only order in from other places. Furniture could use some freshening up. The location is great and about 10 minutes away from the metro and easily accessible to cabs. Several supermarkets downstairs with delivery.
