We stayed at The Nassima Royal Hotel for 4 days after a cruise ,This was our first trip to Dubai & the hotel did not dissapoint us,The location was brilliant for a dubai novice as it was easy to navigate our way around due to the hotels excellent proximity,The hotel itself was really good.It had everything a traveller could need & the staff were very friendly & helpful,We would use the hotel again & would recommend it to anyone considering a trip to Dubai.
Nice and clean hotel! It is close to the main attractions and there are several options to choose from when it comes to food. I really didn't explore the lounges, spa or bars but it looked great. I was a little surprised though that the room was missing an iron and ironing-board but one was delivered to our room almost immediately, when I asked for one. I would definitely stay here again!
The Hotel is located very central in Dubai. Just 3 stops with metro to Burj Khalifa and Dubai-Mall. Because of that you can explore this beautiful city very easy. My Hotel room was on the 32 nd floor with a wonderful fiew by day and especially by night. My room was comfortable and the cleaning very painstaking. All employees where friendly and where trying to do their best to make me feel comfortable and satisfied. The Highlight for me was to go for a meal in Celsius restaurant of Nassim Royal hotel. No matter if it was breakfast, lunch or dinner. There was always a comprehensive buffet with Live- cooking station and every evening a different slogan, like seafood, barbecue, italy. The indian night was very good with the chef Nandeep who has created delicious indian specialities and the indian waiter Rakesh, who knew every food and could tell me where it came from and how to eat. All waiters where very attentive. Especially Maqsudbek Yusupov and Avishek Banerjee. These guys served me very good. Always a nice smalltalk, local tips for Dubai city and refilling my glass when it was empty. It was obvious that they like what they do and set high priority in the satisfaction of their visitors. I was am very happy to met them. I felt very welcomed, too because of the lady of the entrance desk Krishna Devi who was courteous as well and salutes me every day by knowing my name. I just can recommend the hotel and will definitely return again.
The hotel is in the nice location however the rooms are not as big as advertised. The food was nothing special neither the service was. I guess this is as good as Dubai can get so I certainly will not be going back to this hotel or to Dubai.
great hotel great staff From the baggage porter (who we couldn’t tip due to no cash, and who said “all we want is for you to enjoy your stay”) onwards, everyone was friendly and helpful. We were staying for 2 days at the end of a cruise, pre-paid as part of the holiday; on arrival somewhat hot and dishevelled, we were placed in comfy chairs by Adnan (assistant guest relations manager) and given a refreshing drink while the paperwork was processed. He then wondered if we were interested in an upgrade, which we would normally distrust and dismiss immediately, but he made it sound so attractive that we listened, and eventually chose, with a very modest payment required. The room turned out to be a suite on the 37th floor, overlooking the city. It was palatial, huge and with great facilities, well beyond what we had expected. Our main reason for taking it had been the access to the “Royal Club Lounge”, which promised hot and cold drinks throughout the day, breakfast, afternoon tea, and evening “canapes” and hot snacks with free alcohol between 6 and 8 p.m. All of this again exceeded expectations. Breakfast included eggs made to order, and otherwise help-yourself to a wide range of western and Arab dishes and, surprisingly, porridge. Afternoon tea had a range of savoury snacks and superb patisserie, and the evening session small hot dishes as well as a range of savoury snacks and desserts. Refreshments included wine and spirits, served at your table as often as you wished. The lounge is on the 42nd floor with great views on two sides of the building. There are maybe 10 small tables well-spaced, but it was never more than half-full in our time and often empty. There were as many as five staff on hand, all very friendly and helpful. If you wanted to chat they were happy to do so, and made us feel most welcome and valued. We remember in particular Deborah and Leah, but they were all excellent. Empty coffee cups (and wine glasses) brought an immediate offer of more; nothing was too much trouble. As we were settling in to afternoon tea on the first day, Adnan appeared to make sure that we were enjoying the facilities, having already telephoned earlier to check that the room was O.K. More pleasant chat and advice on what to do in Dubai followed, and any time that we passed through the lobby, if Adnan was free he would spring to his feet and check that all was still good and was there any help he could give. The front-door guys managing taxis and baggage etc. were also most friendly and helpful. I don’t imagine that many people will be as lucky as we were in being offered that suite, but any upgraded room with the Royal Club Lounge package has to be considered as a great deal. All in all, what could have been a bit of an anti-climax after a nice cruise, turned out to be the highlight of the holiday.
I would not recommend this hotel to a family with children, it's more for business people. The breakfast is not brilliant, doesn't have a great variety and it's the same everyday. On our first day there was a shortage on irons and ironing board for a hotel this big I wouldn't have expected that. Customer service was not brilliant, we were ask to pay an additional 20aed for tourist tax and after working out the calculation they realised they calculated it incorrectly and we were greatly humiliated and no apology was given. The location is okay however the hotel is standard and not worth the money, rooms are not cleaned on time.
Great rooms, good size , great furnishings and overall property is very nicely done, of course the view is breathtaking. I would recommend this hotel highly. Must stay if you want to be on Shiekh Zayed Road.
It was a good hotel with good location and wonderful view. The breakfast was complete with good sushi. But unfortunately in this hotel wasn't enough normal facilities like shaving kit, toothpaste and brush and something like this. For the level of 5 star hotel it's not normal
It's no surprise that there are some nice aspects to this hotel. It's expense, and it's five stars. The surprising things are all unpleasant. As with many Dubai hotels, this one has virtually no public space: Very small lobby, postage-stamp size pool and small workout room. The rooms are well-appointed. They have this strange system whereby all the curtains open and all the lights come on when you open the door, if the key card isn't inserted quickly, though, all the lights go off, and all the curtains close. Then as soon as you insert the key card, all the curtains open again, and all the lights come on. It's quite a show. When I got here, they didn't have any no smoking rooms available despite having booked one - this was 3:00 PM. They asked if I was willing to have a smoking room. I said no. Then they asked if I was ok waiting - just gotten off an internationak flight - I said no, I wasn't ok with that. Only then did they find me another room. The staff are pleasant. My problem was that they never did anything I asked them to do unless I was right there making them do it. For example, I had a very strange problem with the lights coming on in my room in the middle of the night while I was asleep. I called down and asked them to look into it. They didn't. Then I went downstairs the next day and asked them to look into it. They didn't. My room was supposed to be booked for an extra day because my flight out didn't depart until early AM/late night. Apparently that hadn't happened. They called and asked me if I wanted to extend my stay, I said yes. That didn't happen. My assistant who booked the room said she also told them to extend it. They didn't. The third try I went down stairs and watched them as they did it. Just now, my key card didn't work, I called down, and they said they would send up a bellman to unlock my room. No prizes for guessing that no one came, and when I went downstairs, I discovered that the request had never been processed. Just bear in mind here that if you ask for anything and aren't right there watching to see if it is happening, it is likely to go straight into the bin.
Just returned from 5 nights at the Nassima Royal Hotel - what a fantastic stay. Had requested a room on a high level and certainly got that - floor 48. Great view from the bedroom and the bathroom out to the Burj Kalifa. I certainly enjoyed my bath with a view. Breakfast was superb - there was something for everyone - if you couldn't find something to eat, you must be extraordinarily fussy. Great hot/cold selection and very friendly waiting staff. My daughter and I both booked treatments in the spa and had a fantastic experience. And after a hard day sightseeing it was great to lie by the pool and grab a cold drink.
