My partner surprised me with a private butler service dinner on the beach! Where he proposed. The service was exquisite and the views were simply breath taking - they catered to every need and had previously liased with my fiancée over small details to make the meal extra special! Would recommend this for any special occasion!!

The Al Qasr in Jumeirah is a palatial hotel with the 12 golden playful horses welcoming you. The sprawling luxury space reserved for the uber luxury traveller is a must visit place at least for a meal if you love the rabian style of welcome and exuberance. The boat serviced water front villas and the lovely architecture has a class of its own

We stayed for four nights over the Easter weekend. While there were lots of guests, the hotel never felt that busy and staff always on hand to help. We tried several restaurants and all were excellent, especially the Lebanese. We arrived early morning before our room was ready but the hotel has excellent waiting facilities with lockers, showers, luggage storage, lounge area and of course use of pool etc. Beach and pool fully lifeguarded and what looked to be a really good kids club (we travelled as a couple so didn't use).

Wow! The best choice within the Jumeirah-Group in our opinion. We loved the regional style of the building and it´s whole area, the great staff and amazing services, the beach-setting and non-touristic overflow... felt like in 1001 nights! Therefore our tip: there is an enormous choice of hotels (different styles) in Dubai - inform yourself and decide what you prefer! Al Qasr is an arabian dream...

A spectacular huge hotel. Great location right on the beach in the Jumeirah "strip" of hotels. Beach is lovely (although I think the Pierchic restaurant spoils the beach view); pool is lovely; beach and pool service were lovely; abras were lovely. Golf carts to Wild Wadi and other hotels could not have been easier. Great views of the Burj al Arab. Staff is courteous and attentive. Check-in, check-out, and concierge staff were 5-star. Breakfast was standard buffet of a typical 5-star hotel. Rooms are comfortable and well-appointed. Wifi is fantastic--just like my home. Madinat souk is convenient and very touristy. Half-board includes a fair number of restaurants and includes quite a bit to eat at each meal. Bathroom was nice. My only minor comment is that the design of the rooms includes some marble thresholds on the floor which take some getting used to...stubbed my toes a few times before I remembered :( And special thanks to the outside lobby staff...they were so friendly and helpful with taxi service...and when our airport transfer was delayed they quickly called over to the company and took care of everything. High recommendations.

Hotel was brilliant, staff were great always happy to help. The housekeeping was second to none, the room was always very tidy and they seemed to clean it twice. Having the buggies run you around was a very nice touch

I called the reservation desk to enjoy one of the beautiful restaurants on the water at this hotel. Mr.Kurt Doss took my reservation details and I found him to be very courteous. He took the time to ask if the reservation was for a special event and gave enough details about their restaurants without talking too much. It is a delicate task to show enough interest in a customer to be friendly but not violate privacy and I found this customer representative did a good job! The confirmation email was sent to me promptly with all spellings correct. They aced the first step!

We stayed 7 nights at Al Qasr. The resort was amazing & the best I've stayed in. The staff, facilities & restaurants are absolute quality. The madinat resort is huge with around 30 restaurants to eat at. Golf buggies and water taxis are provided free of charge to get you around the resort. The gym is huge and similar to a David Lloyds gym in the U.K. with 9/10 classes per day! Views are breathtaking and you are right on the beach. You cannot ask for more! Only negative is supplement to eat at certain restaurants in the resort that in my opinion are no better than the free ones. For the price you pay to stay, then to pay for half board you shouldn't be asked for a further premium at a restaurant in your hotel. I understand the likes of the Burj al Arab, but not the others such as Pai Thai! It's just a good standard Thai restaurant. Overall though, highly recommend this place it's pure luxury!!

Travelling with colleagues this was my first visit to Dubai. Accommodation in the summer houses was stunning, the staff extremely attentive. Excellent food and a spotlessly clean beach. Pools, bazaar, tennis courts and all the expected entertainment were first class. Cannot fault.

Al qasar is really a nice place to enjoy. We visited for dinner and got amazed with delicious food , the service inside and outside as well. Quick valet service impressed us more because mostly faced valet service delay.
