We loved everything about this hotel & can't wait to return later this year. From the moment we arrived until the moment we left our every need was catered for. Standards of service throughout the hotel were exceptional. Every member of staff we encountered was helpful & friendly, nothing was too much trouble. A special thank you to Miriam (7th Floor Bar) who looked after us so well. Our sea view room was clean & comfortable. Our housekeeping room attendant serviced the room twice per day providing plentiful bottled water, Elemis toiletries & clean towels. Restaurants were all superb - the quality & variety of food was fantastic. We opted for the All-Inclusive package which we would highly recommend. The Sports Cafe was a favourite spot for lunch overlooking the Marina. Plenty of sun-loungers/umbrellas & clean beach towels available throughout the resort. Excellent 9 hole golf course, practice facilities & pro shop. Exceptional service from the golf team who stored our golf clubs overnight & had them ready & waiting for us at our tee time each day - all set to go together with trolley, golf tees & score card (buggies, clubs, shoes available to hire if required). Cold drinks & fruit provided for each round. After 14 nights we were sad to leave. We have travelled extensively over the last 35 years & have stayed in many excellent hotels, some certainly more modern & luxurious. However, we can honestly say that we have never felt more cared for or had such consistently delicious food, all contributing to a wonderful holiday. Thank you to all Jebel Ali management & staff for making our holiday so special. Loved it!
Second visit and just as impressive. All inclusive of a rare standard. Staff attentiveness makes for a very special visit. Hotel is quite a way out but the location is idyllic for a beach resort holiday with Dubai easily accessible.
This is a hard one to review. So many amazing things about it yet there is a big BUT at the end. Its quite large yet doesn't feel crowded. For adults without kids don't worry they have their own area and pool. It is a family 'resort' hotel but as a couple you didn't notice that hardly at all. The lovely kids are out in a different part with play areas and an ice cream café. Lovely beach, as the same with the hotel there are plenty of sunbeds, waiters, cabanas to go round for all, pick where you want to go. (Although its hot, my goodness). Rooms, we had an upgrade to whatever it was, it was 5* it was doable lol but the balcony was pretty useless just standing room for us. If we were there for longer than 4 nights I would've asked to move. We saw other rooms had larger balconies or terraces we just missed out. I guess as 2 men they might've thought we were there for business we asked for a twin to appreciate the culture, even then they gave us a double bed with a smile. (Strange for Dubai, but thoughtful) That's progression eh? The restaurants were FANTASTC! The best thing about the hotel was the food. The themed buffets were the best! The Chinese was to die for. I found breakfast and the Italian to be a little busy/chaotic and needed more staff but still good quality food. I hope they look into this. The bars were good and theres one you can smoke in for any smokers out there. Room service was also at a reasonable price and tasty, they know its out the way so you get looked after well. Reception staff were lovely, easy relaxed check in. Sign up to the membership scheme and you get a discount card, don't forget to show it everywhere, we always forgot. The bill at the end was half of what I expected anyway, we didn't go All inclusive just HB. The bars were good. I cant remember any entertainment but in the day there is a shuttle to take you into town, which leads to the...BUT! Oh god, its miles from nowhere. Maybe in the future with Dubai's expansion it wont be noticeable as much. Its that far out it only just squeezes onto the map! We actually didn't mind that by the end because we were staying in town on another trip but don't really expect to go seeing all of Dubai on a stop over here no matter what you are told. Just go and relax and enjoy the lovely hotel. See it as a beach stay not a city break. If you expect that anyway youll love it.
the hotel is lovely we actually staid in palm tree court which is small complex in the grounds . it would have been perfect but the weather was cold and windy, so that was a huge disappointment the sun finally came out on our last afternoon. we have been 3 times and always enjoyed the great food and hospitality. And the staff from all around the world were faultless.
This was our second visit having previously stayed in the Palm Tree Court. Everything was as we remembered. The food is outstanding especially in the Italian where we ate 3 times. Our only disappointment was that the White Orchid restaurant & bar were no longer included in the all inclusive package although you could have a 20% discount. Why would you when you have already paid for all the other restaurants. We paid extra to go on the Bateaux Dubai, the food was lovely and the boat very nice, if you like looking at skyscrapers then do this. A great place to relax away from the city and the other busier areas of Dubai. Would highly recommend and we will return at some point.
Potential Guest be warned especially "Disabled people", I can't put into words how disappointed I am having to write about the situation I have found myself in. Brief summary safety hand rail in Disabled toilet came away from plasterboard wall as trying to assist myself to my feet ( plastic raw plug in Plasterboard ) who would actually approve of such poof fitting method !!! Reported incident and to be fair Hotel management were very professional, however I can't say that about there Insurance representative Named as Kesavan Kannan this man is a racist and his objective is solely to stop any claims by making sure your patience is exhausted and try's to class all British people are all about the claims culture and if you dare make a claim you best get a Arabic Lawyer to represent yourself. I really hope this quick note will reveal that if you are unfortunate to have a accident on his watch he will make it almost impossible for you to proceed well let me finish by saying this is not over yet Mr K K.
We've just returned from a fantastic week at Jebel Ali Beach Resort with our teenage daughters (which was not spoilt by the very changeable and disappointing weather!). We booked an all inclusive package which was excellent value for money. The hotel and all its grounds are beautifully maintained and constantly cleaned - every member of staff we met was extremely helpful and friendly. There is a great selection of restaurants to choose from, the only one we didn't manage to try (as it was always fully booked...so must be good!) was the Italian. The food in the buffet was delicious, very fresh and tasty and an excellent variety in comparison to other 4/5 star all inclusive hotels we've stayed in. The Captains Bar and The Sports Bar were our favourites for lunch when the weather was good, as it was nice to sit outside. It's worth the short courtesy bus ride to Shooters restaurant for dinner - I recommend the steaks! However our favourite venue for dinner was Divas, which is located on a boat in the hotel marina. I have never seen such an impressive selection of fresh fish and seafood - you pick out what you'd like, tell the staff how you'd like it cooked and they prepare it for you. This would cost a fortune in London - let alone in Dubai!! We have to make a special mention of Rao who looked after us so well both times we visited Divas - he even drove us back on a golf cart after dinner! If you want a late night drink the bar on the 7th floor serves fab cocktails and has live music. It was a shame that the inflatable aqua park was shut for the week we were there, I believe this was due to damage following a storm and it looked like it was being repaired on the day we left. We tried a few of the water sports on offer on the hotel beach and the staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. The hotel have regular free shuttle buses that run to various popular locations in the centre of Dubai (shopping malls, water parks) which are well worth using and very punctual. I will be recommending the hotel to others and I'm sure we'll make a return visit sometime soon.
Dubai usually good I've been here before but fumes in the bedroom really spoiled it this time. Staff said the fumes were from the harbour which is an industrial area coming through aircon so had to turn it off and then we were too hot and still fumey sorry won't be back
Every thing about this hotel is first class from the service and amenities to the friendly and knowledgeable staff. The buffet had great choice there was something for everyone .captains bar served a great selection of food throughout the day and the beach service was good I will definitely be recommending this resort and will be staying here whenever I am in Dubai food from the buffet was something for everyone
I stayed here as a party of 8, it was my first time but a number of people in our party holiday here 3 times per year so it came with high expectations of their stories and experiences...its didn't let me down. The rooms are large and well equipped with very comfortable beds, extremely well maintained by the housekeeping teams and refilled with water and toiletries etc. where this hotel excels is in the quality and quantity of food, I've stayed in a number of all inclusive in other parts of the world but the quality and availability of choice here is second to none. I not a fussy eater but i do like quality and this hotel and its many restaurants did not fail. we are already looking at returning at the end of April and again in October. As per previous reviewers it is a bit out the way with little around it but the hotel does offer a bus into Dubai if you need to see the sights of the city etc. i would highly recommend this place and will return. Huge thanks to Dev on the beach for going that extra mile every morning helming pope with loungers and ensuring everyone is Ok....
