This was our second stay, and it did not let us down once again, the only thing i have to say is the price is a bit high. But the service is 100%, very friendly and the facility's are as you would expect.

The only really bad thing I have to say is that our flight landed at 535am and we were at hotel for 7am. We left our luggage and spent 5 hours enjoying dubai. Unfortunately we had to wait another 2 hours till 2pm before our room was ready. Fairly disappointing when you consider the hotel were aware that we had a 2 year old child with us. I had also informed them 2 times via email in the 2-3 weeks prior to arrival of the situation. They were hell bent on sticking to their guns that people cannot check in more than an hour before their official 3pm time. Really hard for us as my wife is also 23 weeks pregnant. I am afraid I didn't buy the rooms being fully booked excuse as the hotel was not busy until the final 2 days of our 5 day stay. Room was nice - like an apartment and rest of staff were excellent. Food was great also.

I just wished to say a very BIG Thank You to the truly fantastic team for ensuring our stay was nothing short of perfect in March. From arrival to departure and everything in between the stay was seamless. The allocation and upgrade to 23rd Floor was gratefully received and was still far too large for just the 2 of us but made for an extremely comfortable stay none the less. The entire team made it their business to welcome us and assist us at every turn. It is very clear that the whole team gel exceptionally well and are genuinely proud to work at the Hotel. This is extremely rare but speaks volumes with regards to genuine customer care and true guest service. The Doubletree Jumeirah offers everything we need in terms of space and facilities plus the location on JBR is perfect. Perhaps the only thing missing is an Executive Lounge?! I would also like to take time to mention the following Team Members for their exceptional service and hope that they can be thanked personally for looking after us. These are as follows: Chef Arul - his cheeriness in the mornings was catching! He always wished to please and offer something to us to prove his culinary prowess. The Bon Voyage cake and special waffles were most kind. Servers Jaysen and Ankur - extremely pleasant and kind. Made breakfast a treat and always remembered our orders daily. F&B Manager Jennifer - remembered us from our past visit. Her professionalism and cheeriness plus genuine love of customer satisfaction and respect of the her team was clear. Housekeeping Kamal and Archie - our 'room' was always spotless and loved our Towel Pet Elephant, who we named 'Nelly' 😊 Executive Housekeeper Annie - pleasure to have met her at the Managers Cocktail Party (thank you kindly for the invitation also) Although very new to Dubai and the Team, her enthusiasm for her new role was infectious. Front Office Manager Melanie - her true professionalism from the moment we arrived was fabulous. Nothing was too much trouble and her Reception Team were always friendly, efficient and welcoming at all times. May I say once again a true Thank You for everything that was done for us. We look forward to returning back. Very Best Wishes

what a trip, the hotel we went for all inclusive and I can tell you we wasn't at all disappointed with the food, so much variety and choice, everyday was different. we stayed in the bay club section and the rooms were lovely and well furnished with great level of comforts, the room was cleaned to highest standard every single day, the maids were so effective. the beach was lovely as was the infinity pool. The staff were the highlight of the hotel for us, so attentive and friendly and catered for all of our needs. Highly recommend this hotel and would definitely go back for another trip.

We had the opportunity to stay at the Doubletree JUMEIRAH BEACH Resort during our visit. We were very very happy with our overall visit. The front desk manager(Ms Schneider) and the entire hotel staff were very helpful and friendly during our entire stay. The hotel rooms, indoor and outdoor dining areas, 2 large outdoor Pools and the beach were great. Food was very good. We even got a cookie at check-in and full description of what the hotel had to offer and local trips that we might be interested in taking during our stay. WiFi worked all the time, no issues. We will stay again, guaranteed. Thanks for the memories.

I cannot recall how many times we have stayed here now. It is a truly fabulous place, This visit we planned to stay her for 2 nights, move on elsewhere in the UAE for 4 nights and then return to JBR for our final 3 nights. Upon an early morning (9am) arrival hotel we were greeted like friends, amazing that we feel as though we are part of the family here. We had a very short wait of 30mins for the rrom to be ready for us, which is not normally an issue for us as we packed a bag that would enable us just to head to the pool, but this time it was as if they planned everything perfectly, I know we were fortunate and as the check in time is not until 3pm it was a very pleasant surprise for us. We got a lovely room on the 16th floor with views along the beach with the palm in the distance. Spectacular. We went for breakfast were we were greeted once again by people who remember us from our previous stays here. Nothing is too much trouble for any of the staff we have encountered here. So after out initial 2 nights we checked out and headed off to another hotel approx 1 hr drive away which we had been wanting to try for a couple of visits. We drove to the other hotel which is part of the Hilton group, checked in and were given a fabulous room there, but having had a walk around for 20 mins we realised that it just wasn't for us. I called the Doubletree and asked if they could facilitate a return as we would rather spend our time there. George Saad very quickly sorted all of this out for us and within an hour of arriving we were back in the car to JBR where we glad to make ourselves at hme for the remaining 7 nights of our stay, This time to a room on the 20th floor with equally impressive outlook as our first. Breakfasts are amazing here and we find a good breakfast sets us up for the day leaving us to find food only on an evening. There is a good choice in the hotel but we really like the Ambience of the nearby area know as the Walk, where there are a good selection of resturants, lots to look at and see and at this time of year you can sit and eat your meal watching the world go by as people enjoy themselves. Arul and Lokendra as usual for us get a very special mention as they go the extra mile to make sure we have everything we need. If I could remember the names of everyone I would name them but there are just too many, I must remember to get the name of our breakfast server, his name began with an A and he was exceptional at remembering our preferences each morning :-) Wissam and George from hotel management are very interactive with all of the guests and they are now assisted by a lovely German lady, I think shes called Monica and during the day she would always be visible, friendly and keen to make sure we were having a great time. I see from recent reviews there has been much made again of the construction work next door and nearby on the new BlueIsland. Yes, there is construction and yes there were times when there are some noise at a high level, HOWEVER, for us this was not a distraction or an annoyance at all. Dubai is constantly under development so its to be expected, It was certainly not something that detracted from our holiday. March is lovely temprature here and whilst we personally found the pool a little cool, it was a comfortable 30c in the day yet still comfortable in shorts and short sleeved shirt on an evening sat outside eating. In closing we had a great time, surrounded by great people at a fabulous hotel in a great location. We will be back in October if not during the summer as well. Graham and Lesley Padden

We enjoyed a fabulous short break on our return from holiday in New Zealand. The standard of service was among the highest I have come across in many years of travel. The smiles on the faces of the staff and their willingness to assist in a variety of situations was an absolute pleasure.

Staff fantastic and so helpful, room was excellent too with super comfy bed but drinks very expensive and noise from construction site next door made relaxing on the beach a real problem. Masses of building work still going on in Dubai so if you are looking for some relaxing downtime select your accommodation venue carefully

This one is tricky! First off the staff at the hotel from the bellboy to the manager are fabulous nothing is too much trouble. They are super friendly and extremely kind. The proximity to the beach and jumeira walk is perfection the pools are stunning the hotel is as clean as can be. As a woman traveling alone I felt safe at all times. The room is fantastic good balcony lovely big lounge and separate bedroom massive windows elegant furnishings and such a comfy bed. Now the cons. The first night I was on the third floor the view was of the motorway and building sites along with the air conditioning systems for the hotel. However I got a great deal with hotels.com using their points and the staff were so helpful I thought never mind. However downstairs is a nightclub or some such between 12-3am there was that awful dull thudding sound of heavy bass but no recognisable tune at first I thought it was the building works. The following morning I asked to be moved to a higher floor and thankfully the wonderfully helpful staff obliged. In short do not stay in room 303 however room 1503 was great. I would ask for a high floor overlooking the sea. When the construction work is finished this will be a gem of a hotel.

Stayed in this hotel for 6 nights, I was concerned about the construction due to previous reviews so emailed the hotel directly as this was for a birthday celebration, the hotel said they would give me a quiet room,.... How wrong our room looked directly onto the construction and we were woken on 3 mornings from the noise,.. The room was a one bedroom suite for 3 people, but after a long late flight the room was made up for 3, we went out to eat and I asked reception if they could make the sofa bed up while we went out which they said they would,.... On arriving back this was not done, I had to ring down again and ended up taking the bedding from housekeeping and doing it myself, the room was only ever set for 2, 2 cups 2 glasses and on most occasions only 2 towels, which on several days I had to ring for more, I expressed my disappointment to reception who said they would pass this onto the manager, I never heard from the manager at all, I know things sometimes go wrong but it's how it's dealt with and obviously the manager at this hotel does not bother with customers concerns, I would not return to this hotel.
