La Bastide is a great Provençal hotel in an amazing and quiet area. The place is surrounded by trees, vineyard, a farm and piece of arts. Next to the Bastide, 10/15 mn by walk, you have the winery the Commanderie de Peyrassol. The vineyard is stunning. Within the vineyard, you have two restaurants, check Jeanette a gastronomy restaurant with great food and the Bistrou Lou for more casual food. Both restaurants are great and in a great location. The wine tasting tour is not to miss. Every Wednesday or Thursday during summer you have a concert/ music show at the vineyard. We had one called tribute to Amy Winehouse. Very good. The bedroom at the Bastide was big and quiet. The furniture are great, you really feel the Provençal vibes. The breakfast is delicious with Provençal and local produces. The staff is nice and friendly, I just wish they had a better organisation for the shuttle at night between the Commanderie and the Bastide ROUVIERE. It is not so well organised and reliable. Overall, I had an amazing stay, I really enjoyed every moment in the Bastide ROUVIERE and the Commanderie de Peyrassol. I will be back and encourage everyone to stay there at least minimum two nights to really enjoy the place and restaurants.

Situation au milieu des bois et des vignes remarquable. La commanderie est un écrin pour l’art contemporain. Malheureusement on ne peut plus accéder librement à toutes les œuvres.visites payantes organisées à des heures définies. Restaurant « Jeannette » sur la propriété vaut à lui seul le détour. Terrasse magique qui domine les vignes. Seul bémol, j’aurais pensé retrouver mes lunettes de soleil le lendemain matin alors que je les avaient oubliées sur la table. L’hôtel La Rouvière est un ancien pavillon de chasse qui a gardé son caractère d’origine. La chambre attribuée était d’un style provençal, assez petite et trop sombre. Avec une sdb « boyau » attenante sans porte pour maximiser l’espace. W.C séparé avec une porte « symbolique » qui ne laisse place à aucune intimité. Les portes de palier sont dans le même bois(planche de pin), c’est un peu léger. Nous avions opté pour la catégorie cocon pour plus de confort mais la chambre attribuée au regard des photos du site de la commanderie correspond plutôt à la catégorie « sans façon » qui porte bien son nom. La petite piscine a le mérite d’exister mais son entretien semble complexe. Lorsque nous y étions le pisciniste était présent est nous a rassuré sur la qualité de l’eau car elle était fort trouble et verte. Quelques transats posés autour. Bof. PDJ réduit et très basique. Beaucoup de chichis pour rien. Omelette mauvaise (faut le faire!), pas de fruits variés ni de buffet avec de bons pains et gâteaux. maison.

Très belle endroit, au calme. Dommage que la piscine sur le site ne soit pas pour la clientèle. Il faudrait un parking proche des chambres pour les personnes qui dorment sur place.
