The Hostess was kind enough to put us in an upgraded cabin right on the river and across the bridge. It is a very pleasant town and area great for biking, motorcycles or our Polaris slingshot.

Clean and well equipped

The place was clean with a well equipped kitchen. Its located right on Main St in the town, opposite to the only grocery shop in this town. We liked the porch, where we could just relax and watch people on the street.

This little apartment in downtown Downieville is a gem. So cute and newly remodeled. Very clean and well stocked. Right above the cutest little ice cream shop and the awesome Boomtown Lounge. Great weekend in Downieville, CA

Delightful Downieville

Wonderful and relaxing stay in downtown Downieville. Loved the coffee and ice cream shop that’s part of the same building. Relaxing porch overlooking bustling Main Street with wonderful rocking chairs. Comfy beds, lovely furnishings, AC and overhead fans...made for a relaxing stay.

Super cute apartment - well situated

We loved staying in this well-equipped apartment in an historic building in the center of town. We spent a lot of time sitting on the balcony people-watching. We walked to swimming holes and restaurants. A high recommend - and I’m picky.

Good times in Downieville.

The apartment was great. Clean, well supplied with kitchen supplies for preparing breakfast and dinner. The porch overlooking main street was a great place to watch the passing parade of locals, mountain bikers and everyone else. Perfect central location close to swimming, trail heads and businesses!

Super Sweet Spot!

What can I say? This was everything we wanted and more. Absolutely gorgeous apartment overlooking the heart of a killer little Gold Rush town. Super comfortable bed, kitchen with all the essentials and enough seating to chill with the family. Don’t skip the yummy coffee and ice cream downstairs. Owners and manager are responsive and easy to work with....treat yourself to this gem.
