Recently stayed twice to attend my parents funerals. What were sad occasions were eased by the welcoming atmosphere and the friendliness of the staff. Rooms airy and comfortable. Food at the Coq & Bull was excellent. Perfectly located for all our needs. Special thanks to Andrea who was sensitive to the emotional turmoil and provided a hug like a long lost friend on our return from the service. We have stayed probably 5 times now and always enjoyed the experience. Thank you

My daughters and I spent a night here last Thursday. We were checked into a lovely standard room. The room was equipped with a coffee machine, plenty of complimentary toiletries and bath robes and slippers. We enjoyed a delicious meal in the restaurant. Plenty of choice, great ambience and excellent service. The staff in all departments were fantastic and very friendly. A scrumptious breakfast the next morning rounded off the trip nicely. Will definitely be back!

My husband, daughter and myself stayed overnight here as we were at a wedding at the hotel. What a great place to stay with beautiful rooms, vast array of toiletries and pleasant, friendly staff! The beds were really comfortable and the selection at breakfast was excellent, including the infamous yoghurt. Very enjoyable experience.

We had a fabulous weekend at the Clandeboyne for a family wedding. Beautiful bedrooms, helpful staff and great breakfast the next day. The events room or the wedding meal was beautiful and really looked the part. The staff were great catering for different dietary requirements.

Stayed here as a couple for a friends wedding which was also at the same venue. The hotel itself is brilliant, very clean, modern and quiet in comparison to a hotel we stayed at the night before just a short distance away in Bangor. Also to mention the venue itself for a wedding was beautiful! Our stay included breakfast, there was a nice selection of choices for the size of the hotel and the cooked breakfast was delicious. If we ever visit NI again we would definitely not hesitate to stay here again!

Our experience at the restaurant on 25th March was disappointing. We had stayed at this hotel a few years ago and enjoyed it, but sadly on this occasion it was less than enjoyable. I had Shepherds Pie which was not quite what I expected when it came. It was in a little bowl with no accompanying vegetables or mint gravy. When I spoke to the waitress she said the vegetables and gravy were in the pie, but when I searched for them the tiny pieces of carrot would have covered the nail of my little finger! And I didn't taste any mint gravy! When I spoke to the waitress afterwards I told her, but she defended the chef and implied that I shouldn't be complaining. She really gave me quite a lecture, so I'm sorry to say it but her attitude was very poor. Perhaps she was having a bad day, but I really feel she needs some further training on how to ensure that customers leave happy and not with a bad taste in their mouth! I also felt the pie was greatly overpriced for a little pot of minced lamb with some mash on top. Ambience was not good and the music was far too loud. Dinner is meant to be relaxing with opportunity for conversation but loud music inhibits this. On the plus side the restaurant is lovely and the grounds quiet and pleasant with lots of parking space. We were generally greatly disappointed with our experience on this occasion, and are not inclined to return.

I just dont know where to begin , we had booked our wedding for 17-03-18 at the clandeyboye , over 18 months before the big day and i cant explain enough how happy i was from that first visit until we checked out on sunday the 18th of march. The hotel itself is literally out of this world nestled in a sublime natural beauty spot. The rooms are the best i have ever stayed in anywhere across the world and although our honeymoon suite was that little bit better than the rest it was clear when i seen some other rooms they where top drawer also, fantasticly modernised to a very high standard. The food is possibly the best you could ever find and that is not just my opinion but the 170 quests at our wedding have not stop talking about such high quality food service and decore. I had been dealing with 3 people leading up to the wedding and like any big day alot of preparation had gone into it. 3 members of staff who deserve the highest honour available in Ian , Lorraine and Gia who have been exceptional in their support and knowledge about everything. We had a few hiccups along the way and these 3 people made it all work and without them we could not have done that. When we arrived at the wedding as beautiful as the room looked empty when it was decorated it was literally like a fairytale it was absolutley perfect. I was met by a man called Graham who i had met for the first time he introduced himself as the MC for the evening and explained to me he will sort out whatever needs done and for me and dawn to relax and enjoy ourselves, and to be honest again there was a few hiccups that to be honest i was barely aware of as Graham took care of it all. He providing outstanding service and was an absolute gentleman throughout. Overall this hotel was outstanding and i cant thank all the staff enough for making my wedding day so perfect. I will be travelling back for food alot now and hopefully get a wee overnight stay sometime soon also thanks again from the Mullans and friends.

Visited the hotel for my cousins wedding. Fantastic venue, very clean and modern. Had a three course meal, it was fantastic, silver service was great. Every course was perfect. For the night time food we were served mini fish and chips in little cups it was out of this world. The food and staff were excellent....well done to you all. What a shame i was only visiting as i would love to try the food in the restaurant, the menu looked great. Perhaps the next time i'm visiting from england i'll have time to book into tge restaurant.

Our son and daughter in law were married Sunday 11th March, such a beautiful venue, staff fantastic nothing to much bother everything was just perfect and manager on the day went over and above thank you so much, Mr and Mrs Piggott

We arrived on Sat 3rd March 2018 and were struck by the warm atmosphere of the hotel. Check in was easy and we were able to make reservations for our family dinner in their excellent restaurant. All our meals were excellent and the service outstanding. If you are looking for an excellent quality meal non residents can eat here too. I can't fault a single aspect of my stay.... thankyou
