It seems to be a tired building that is 'attempting' to work on things but a long way to go! NOT much choice in town, but will stay outside of town in future and drive 30+ mins to get in.

Great experience

Based off of previous reviews I had no idea what to expect. We had a great stay! Bed was comfortable and room was clean. We appreciate it being a dog friendly hotel and not having to pay insane dog fees. The place is currently under renovation. Employees were all very nice. Would stay here again and would definitely recommend. Can't beat the price!

Relax in Dowagiac.

A welcoming smile after a long day and a late check-in. Very helpful with local dining options. I will come back if the opportunity arises. A comfy bed with the basics ie Fridge and microwave .

The staff forgot to put a blanket or comforter on our bed. Went to the front desk and they had a sign on the counter to call this number if no one was there. I wanted to talk to someone from the staff to make sure that they knew what was missing. In retrospect I wanted to make sure that I wouldn’t be charged for the missing cover. I called the phone number to the hotel and briefly talked to a worker. I told her of the mishap and that she would speak to the manager. She took my phone number and that they would get back with me.

This hotel was the only game in town so it had to work for many family members in town for a wedding. Quite a few people had problems with their keycards not working. Rooms were small but fairly clean. No insulation resulted in us hearing other guests throughout the night.
