Refugio tranquilo en el Parque Nacional Regional con lago privado

La Petite Maison es una hermosa casa de campo independiente de 2 dormitorios situada dentro de su propio jardín privado y acceso exclusivo a un lago privado de 2 acres que ofrece un remanso de paz y tranquilidad. Totalmente reformado en 2013 a un alto nivel y renovado con nuevos electrodomésticos de cocina en diciembre de 2016, completo New Bathroom 2019. Decoradas con buen gusto y bien equipadas para que se sienta más como un hogar que una casa de vacaciones. La cabaña permite un alojamiento flexible y es ideal para 1 o 2 parejas, puede dormir 6 con el sofá cama en la sala de estar.
Nuevo lavavajillas de diciembre de 2016, dispensador de agua, nevera / congelador, lavadora. Totalmente reformado en 2013, electrodomésticos de cocina, horno, vitrocerámica, tostadora, camas de calidad de hotel Super King (o 2 individuales), cama King y sofá cama, ducha. Lago de 2 acres, en el Parque Nacional, WiFi gratuito, todas las toallas y ropa de cama incluidas, estufa de leña, calefacción eléctrica, inglés y francés TNT TV y DVD, propietario en el lugar. Nuevo almacenamiento exterior con cerradura de agosto de 2016 para bicicletas, motos, kayaks, equipo de pesca, etc.
Ubicado en el corazón de 'Le Parc Naturel Régional Périgord-Limousin' entre Châlus (4 km) y Dournazac (4 km), a 30 minutos del aeropuerto de Limoges, donde se pueden alquilar coches.
Dournazac es un pequeño pueblo con panaderías, tiendas y oficinas de correos que destaca por su hermoso castillo del siglo XV, Château Montbrun, también famoso por su Feria de la castaña de octubre, que transforma este tranquilo pueblo en un resplandor de color, con aromas de castañas tostadas y ambiente vibrante

Wonderfully well kept property. Everything worked, everything was clean and everything was provided. Andy and Lisa greeted us on arrival, showed us around and made it clear that they were always available if we needed something. Beds and chairs all very comfortable. Really nice property in an extremely peaceful location.

Lovely gite in the peaceful countryside

The petite maison, is very well equipped and Lisa and Andy were great hosts. We spent a lovely week enjoying the surrounding area with our family, with walks, kayaking, mountain biking, zoo's etc all within a short drive.

Quality Property in a Beautiful Location

This is a wonderful cottage with every amenity you could want. The accommodation is high quality from top to bottom. Lisa and Andy were the perfect hosts being attentive but allowing as much privacy as we wanted Highly recommended!

A perfect place for a holiday

The cottage is very nice, the owner is helpful and the location is perfect. It is excellent as a starting point for making walking trips in the surroundings. Haute-Vienne has a large number of marked walking routes. And you can also make a trip to Limoges.

The house is as described, and Lisa and Andy were very helpful hosts. We particularly liked how well-equipped the kitchen was, the quietness of the house, and birdwatching at the lake. The lake is quite large, and we had it to ourselves. It is about 20 m from the front door of the house, reached via the car parking space.

Rural Tranquillity in Haute Vienne

The property is extremely comfortable and very well equipped. The garden is totally private and the lake also is only accessed from the house. The setting is so peaceful. Surrounded by lovely scenery there are lots of opportunities to spot wildlife.

Looked forward to staying in Lisa and Andrew's gite and were not disappointed.

This gite was clean, well appointed, comfortable nothing was lacking, it was lovely just to sit outside having a coffee and listening to the bird's Lisa and Andrew were very friendly hosts and willing to help if you had a problem. The situation of the gite was very nice, in a pretty garden with a lake over the stream.We would recommend this gite.

Lovely Gite

Can honestly say its the best gite we have stayed in. Everything you need is there,including English TV for rainy days. Also got a lovely welcome basket and a nice welcome from our hosts Lisa & Andy. Lots to do and see within a drive of 45 to 60 mins ,10 mins to supermarket etc. Would recommend.

Fantastic

Wonderful property, beautifully furnished, clean and well stocked with everything you may need. Lisa and Andy are so welcoming, friendly and helpful. It is so peaceful and relaxing, we had a fantastic time and loved exploring the local area and looking at the wildlife in and around the lake. Hugely recommend.

Total relaxation

This was a week of total relaxation.The cottage is set in pure countryside. The cottage is very well equipped with all the essentials you need. Everything in the cottage is of a high quality and it has been decorated and furnished to a very high standard. Well worth a visit.

Simply Stunning

Our second stay here and dare we say even better. La Petite Maison is a perfectly serene vista and fits our needs in everyway possibe. Lisa and Andy are wonderful hosts with a wonderful Gite This year we vistited a few of the local town markets. Brantôme and Piégut-Pluviers are impressive and highly recommended. All in all a simply stunning place to be.

A Little Corner of Heaven

Didn't think it was possible to find somewhere better than the gite we had just left. Lots of thought put into equipping the cottage. Good quality comfortable beds and sofas. The private lake setting was sublime. So many bird calls to identify and even saw a coypu taking his evening swim. Totally relaxing. Away from it all but just 6 minutes drive to the village.

Perfect retreat in a beautiful cottage

What a beautiful cottage in a wonderfully idyllic setting. From the start the communication with Lisa and Andy was super. On arrival Lisa and Andy were very accommodating and had the cottage prepped for us after our long drive. The cottage was perfect for our family (two adults and two children 8 & 10) and had everything we needed. Lisa and Andy left us to our own devises but were there if we needed them with advice or help. Perfect stay and a beautiful area. We also did the bike hire with bike direct which was great.

Superb gite

Really Really good. Spotlessly clean and well prepared. Furniture and fittings of a standard you'd expect in a home rather than a rental. Totally equipped - including firewood - just had to walk in. The private lake is a real treat. Very well presented. Plenty of wildlife - and one of the neighbours must have a pack of hounds whose occasional howling was wonderfully atmospheric!!

Wonderful

This is a wonderful cottage, everything possible is provided. Spotlessly clean and very comfortable bed. It is always a nice surprise to find crockery etc matching Lisa & Andy have done a great job. They were not at all intrusive but willing to help if needed. It snowed and was cold whilst we were there so the plentiful supply of firewood provided was very welcome, as was arriving to the log fire burning, very thoughtful!

Absolutely beautiful

Absolutely beautiful place in a gorgeous setting. Spotlessly clean and everything you could possibly need was thought of. Very well equipped, more like a home from home. Huge, comfy bed in main bedroom. Plenty of outside space and very peaceful. The area alongside the lake was the perfect spot to sit and read a book whilst enjoying the sun. Good communication and plenty of information given about the local area before our stay. Lots of folders at the house with information and leaflets about things to do. We had a fabulous week and would love to visit again sometime.
