Sheraton Zagreb Hotel5.0 out of 5.0

Awful breakfast served, crowded with no available tables, terrible unavailable elevators, rooms are designed like in the 1980's and staff in unfriendly. Also they overcharged in mistake at the checkout process and did not reimbursed me back until i had to email them several times. I will never return to this Hotel!!!!
Welcoming staff, very comfortable room, great breakfast and well located hotel! Not much around the hotel, but it is just a 5 minute walk to the city historical center. I would definitely stay there again!
Rooms are on the small size, so is the bathroom. The hotel is clean and the personnel in the breakfast restaurant was very attentive but the situation of this space is very exposed, just next to main reception, with no wall or clear divisions. I did not have the breakfast included but i got discount for it when reserved at checking in. The personnel in the reception was very slow, at least in my case. The reception area is small and without a Club Lounge. The hotel is not really a 5 start hotel but a 4 or upper 3 start. I did not use the wellness center but according to my companion it was not very good. Best is the location, close to the center and to the most offices spaces.
The hotel is well located, as with most hotels from Sheraton, Hilton, Intercontinental the outside appearance is outdated. Very friendly & competent stuff, room was refurbished, just the silicon joint on the shower have to be changed. Breakfast is very good and you get all kind of eggs freshly made. To find the fitness center is already an exercise and this area would need urgently a refurbishment.
As usual, a good business hotel, next to a casino and a movie theater complex. A good 15-20 minutes walk take you to the historical old town. Many coffee shops and restaurants around the hotel. As usual, expensive mini bars and breakfast.
This Sheraton hotel relatively well located a few minutes walk from the main train station is based in a strange tinted glass building, which seems out of place, amongst classic facades around. The personnel are professional and friendly, which is actually expected from Sheraton and a 5 star venue. And yet, this is not quite a 5 star venue, and not even by Starwood Hotels standards. The hotel does not have a Club Lounge (which is indeed very strange and disappointing), the rooms appear dated and the decor seems a bit stale. The bathroom although spotlessly clean is small and the shower heads do not appear to work properly. Also, the location of the ‘lobby’ restaurant is very strange, right on the lobby floor immediately next to the main entrance - not cosy at all.
This hotel is suppose to be a 5 star : Not even close Wellness is way below expectations, run down and dirty. When I asked the lady at the wellness desk for a bathrobe, I was told that management does not allow to provide them?! I mean really ??? A five star hotel cant provide bathrobe for guests ?! Breakfast is ok but no way near five star level. The room I was in was comfortable and clean.
We were a group of about 50pax and we stayed here in September. The hotel was pretty good. Good breakfast spread, prompt service and easy check-in and check-outs. As with most Indians we are pretty loud and tend to confuse the most sorted people & place with all the chaos. But they did a great job. Everyone left happy. We also had a special dinner arranged for our group & they managed that to without any problems. Good, clean well kept rooms, great polite service & good food.
I stayed here for two nights while on a guided tour of Croatia. This hotel is situated outside the trendiest part of town, but that hardly matters. Public transportation is nearby, and if you’re a walker, you’ll find Zagreb easy to navigate. As far as the rooms go, they are standard Sheraton classic rooms with everything clean, stylish and in good working order. The busy fitness area has plenty of equipment , but points off for no TVs on machines and only a continual replay of the Kardasians on a wall unit. With no sound. The Kardasians? Anyway ...another plus is the nice pool and sauna. Clean, decent size and open early. Finally, the breakfast is fantastic... the usual array of choices, including hot breakfast, made to order omelets, and cheerful service. A great stay all the way around!
Centrally located in a busy area of Zagreb, this a large hotel that caters to tour groups and conferences. We only stayed one night and although the décor in the rooms is somewhat dated it was all in all a comfortable stay. Chocolates at turndown will get me every time. Customer service is everything to hotels and what made our stay enjoyable was the delightful young man who welcomed us at the SPG check-in counter and the waiter in the Imperial Café who generously allowed us to order breakfast even though it was well into lunch time. The updated purple hued Piano Bar was a relaxing place to have a cocktail. Breakfast buffet was fine although super busy with tour groups. There is plenty of good shopping and restaurants nearby and walking distance to most attractions.
