Sheraton Zagreb Hotel

We stayed here for our first 3 nights in Croatia before picking up rental car at airport. Finding a suitable hotel in Zagreb using Trip Advisor was a bit tricky, but we were happy with our selection balancing location and amenities. Its a big hotel with easy access either walking or tram to the old city. All staff were friendly and service oriented. There is limited choice for restaurants / bars in close proximity to hotel . Room service selections and breakfasts in hotel were very good. There was a mix of business travelers and tourists, so breakfast was a little chaotic, but service was satisfactory. Go with ordering espresso since I was not sure that the bulk coffee machine dispensed coffee? The room was adequate and quiet at back of hotel on the executive floor. Housekeeping did a good job every day.

We have stayed in several Sheraton hotels but unfortunately this was the worst of them. Located in the centre of town it is a very large hotel catering for business people, conventions and holiday makers. At first sight our room looked as good as those in other Sheraton hotels but I was very disappointed to find that it was desperately in need of refurbishment. The bathroom tiles had black mould in the grouting, the sink had several cracks in it and the movable wall mirror was loose. As we were only staying for one night I didn't bother asking for a different room but I certainly would have done if we were staying longer. Breakfast was OK but nothing special. Our buffet dinner wasn't really up to what I expected. My wife also wants to know what happened to the slippers that were provided in the other Sheraton hotels we have been to.

Very solid business hotel. The Lobby bar is new and stylish, the rest of the public areas is occasionally a bit outdated. Very nice rooms, especially high-floor. The location is very central. I will be back again

We stayed at the Sheraton in Zagreb during our visit to Croatia. The location is the best part of the hotel, with it being located in the centre of the city. It is walking distance from the main sites. The rooms are done up decently, but are not outstanding. The breakfast was a bit disappointing, and should be improved for its variety.

This is a run down Sheraton in Zagreb. The hotel room looks run down and are not equipped with usual 5 star hotel. There were no shower cap and no drinking water in guest room. Breakfast was super busy with big group of tourists. Big group of tourists is a usual affair in a big city but hotel should be able to handle crowd much better than it is.

I would say it was OK, but nothing more. Personnel was fine, breakfast good. I also tried the gym, open since 06:30, also OK. Parking available in the hotel garage, pretty bit parking places, no problem.

We arrived by train from Ljubljana and was an easy 10-minute walk from Zagreb Central Station. We were unable to check in early, but we didn't mind because it was a busy time of year, the hotel kept our bags, and the staff was so friendly! Our room was very spacious and comfortable, and the decor was modern. We tried the piano bar, which was a classy and fun touch. We very much enjoyed our stay! We would definitely stay again when in Zagreb!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. We had a large room with a king bed and a nice view of the city streets. Nice linens, towels, etc. It formerly was an Intercontinental Hotel so you can see fancy woodwork on doors etc. A very nice buffet breakfast, but a little short on seating. Nice location

Stayed in this hotel for 1 evening as part of a Globus Croatia Tour. Room was very small for a 4* property. In our room, there were two closets with clothes hanging bars BUT no drawers. There was only 1 drawer in one corner of the room. The sofa was soft with no arm supports and totally uncomfortable. In October, the room was hot and stuffy - even after we had the “air conditioning” on for several hours. In the room, there were no space to lay open 2 suitcases. Other than the decor, this is a below average Sheraton property.

For an overnight layover, the Sheraton suited our needs. It is centrally located and within walking distance of the city center. For a fee, there's a garage on premises and can be accessed by elevator. The hotel caters to tour groups so the lobby was always filled with people and suitcases coming and going. We had drinks at the bar but did not linger. The front desk was accommodating and helpful. Though our room had street view, it was spacious, comfortable and had everything we need. Overall, I didn't find anything special about the hotel and nothing to complain about either.
