Many good points, a few small negatives
There is a lot to like about La Chartreuse Carmille. It is located right in the centre of Domme, has adjacent off-road parking and a well appointed private courtyard with excellent quality garden furniture. Inside there are three very large bedrooms, a combined dining room/lounge. a kitchen with separate utility room and one bathroom. The bathroom worked well for two people but can imagine this would be quite a challenge for four or even six guests. The decor and cleanliness is good, nice to have a large SuperKIng Bed (in two of the rooms), a smart TV, plenty of storage and floor fans in each of the bedrooms. The kitchen had pretty much everything you would need including lots of clean/new crockery and glasses.
The main negative for us was a lack of a washing machine. We were aware of this when we booked but for a two week rental in a three bed cottage this is a surprising omission. This wasn't helped by being provided with only one set of towels each (also no bedding change) - fortunately, we had also taken our own towels. There were a couple of minor niggles - the coffee pod machine was broken, no dishwasher tabs are provided and the kitchen soap/washing liquid pretty empty- anything consumable wise in the kitchen looks to be what has been left by the previous guests.
Our host, Julie, was very helpful in quickly resolving a wifi problem on our first night.
