Lovely little but well sized cottage. The road was quiet and you heard nothing from the bedrooms. Well equipped and very clean. Log burner was nice and it kept the house warm all night. Nice little garden for a dog to have a little play or for kids.

The communication was excellent, and we found the property easily. The property is well located just outside of the busy village but only a 10 minute walk into the centre.. right next to the property was a path which led to various walks next to the river. We found the property very quiet at night so didn’t get disturbed.. however I found the bed very uncomfortable. The mattresses definitely need an upgrade. This was the only thing that I would suggest be changed as I woke up every morning very achy and so did my wife. However the property was small but very comfortable. The log burner kept the house really warm. We went late November early December but found the heating very adequate. Please be careful outside at the front of the house as the stone coping around the retaining wall at the front of the house gets very slippery when wet.. I would definitely return as I had a lovely four day break. My wife left her coat behind, they informed us and returned it very promptly. This was very much appreciated.

The cottage is clean and well appointed with all you need for a relaxing break. The host always replies quickly to any inquiry. The electric heating is very efficient and Please note that the bathroom is downstairs. It is accessed via a small porch which would benefit from blinds for privacy. The TV only operates on a Firestick so take log in information with you. The stairs are very steep so added care is needed. Although there is parking for one car make sure to park next to the large stones so as not to impinge on the neighbour's parking space. It is a short walk into the town on flat roads. There are many lovely eating places so no need to cook in the cottage if you don't want too.

Great location and ideal for what we wanted
Lovely accommodation, as described and pictured. The location is ideal as we were able to walk into the town for food and the pub after a day of walking. High recommend the new and old precipise walk which can start from the property.
