We are Oman traveling for business here in Qatar, and thankfully we came to stregis, hotel is big and awesome view. Thanks to my butler Louie for anticipating to process my pressing, to okesh for the sweet amenities. Staff are great and friendly, would surely comeback again..

On 23.2.17 I booked St Regis Doha for two weeks. It was quiet, away from the outdoor concerts, and I was able to work on a project in peace. After a few days, I was abruptly told to leave the quiet room I had. Because another guest wanted it. This turned out to be the US Dept of Defence. Staff explained a CIA officer was in a temporary room waiting to take my room! I refused to leave the room, suggesting the CIA guy could be given another room. At midnight that night four bulky men arrived and told me to leave immediately. . When I said I had paid for the room, the Director of Security spat on the ground. He wore Arab robes. The three others were thugs clearly employed to remove me. I avoided assault only by advising they could give me another room. I had no idea how to find another hotel at midnight in Doha, outside the city centre as it was. It was a frightening prospect frankly. The thugs left and another person returned with a room card. This was for a freezing suite with broken aircon, near the live concerts. I was unable to sleep the rest of the booking. I felt traumatised, and feared assault from the DOD, CIA or hotel security. As soon as I boarded the return flight I informed the credit card company who immediately suspended the payment pending investigation. This was a horrible experience due to serious management mishandling. I still feel distressed when I remember the trip.

Booked a cabana at st Regis for a ladies morning getaway and it was just awesome.. It was perfectly handled by Mr Fathi who is customer orientated and always goes the extra mile to offer the best service. Thanks to him we enjoyed a wonderful morning and it gave a great overview to my guests of what St Regis has to offer..... Keep the good work! 👍👍

We stayed at of the great cabana villas with sea view. It was a great experience with our family to enjoy the weekend. The whole team did an excellent job. Food and Service - everything is great. We highly recommend St. Regis even for local people to join the hotel for a day at the beach. Thanks You!

What a great hotel. This place is pure luxury but perhaps the thing I really liked about it was the staff. They genuinely appeared eager to help and assist. Their assistance was outstanding and the service very quick. Might be worth a couple of extra dollars to stay here but it would be worth indulging yourself here for a couple of days during a stopover. The food was excellent, the patio for meals delightful, the free pressing service was useful and of course the pool was superb. The conference facilities were excellent and convenient.

Vintage bar is amazing and the duo band from cuba surprise me and my friend singing our favorite song and the singer is very talented and played saxophone as well .To add to it to be perfect is Dex make our drinks and give the best service .Real 5 star *****.Cheers!

One of the worst experiences I had in my life , it became 1:40 AM and we are not able to sleep due to high music noise from the beach party inside the hotel although my room in high floor . On top of that , the duty manager was not able to tell me when the party will be over so my children can sleep. It was REALLY a waste of money experience if you have a family and want to relax on your weekend in the hotel .

From the moment we arrived at The St Regis in Doha we were blown away. As we got out of the taxi, my wife was greeted by her name (how they knew i will never know) and we were escorted to Reception where we were greeted by the Asst Manager. Despite arriving at 9am (check-in was not until 3pm) they had no issue in checking us in early and making our room available straight away. We also requested a late check-out as our flight was not until 3am the morning after we had to check-out. Again this was agreed to without any fuss and they said to check at 5pm to see if we could extend leaving the room to 11pm (guess what -- they agreed!). Our room was on the 11th Floor (the top) and had a great view over the bay and the huge swimming pool. When we got out of the lift, we were met by Alex who informed us that he was our butler for our stay and we could use him for anything. Whilst it was a nice offer, we chose to let Alex focus on other guests as all we wanted to do after three weeks of touring Europe was to sit by the pool and relax. The pool is amazing - the staff are so friendly, there was not a problem with towels, sunscreen and they even would provide a cool fruit drink every now and then. Eating wise we chose the Astor Grill and we decided to share the Lamb Rack. When they wheeled it over it was the biggest lamb rack i have ever seen and I can confirm it was also the tastiest as well - it was excellent value for money as eating and drinking in Qatar can be expensive in Hotels. Breakfast the next day was also a highlight in the Vine Restaurant with everything you ever wanted on offer. We had a very friendly waiter (Mary Daniel) who provided great service and also gained permission for my wife to have a taste of the turkish coffee and provided her (again with permission from her boss) with six sachets of a certain blend of tea that she liked for free (we were prepared to pay). Another relaxing day by the pool and we at at their Gordon Ramsey Restaurant - Opal that night and had another great meal with great service from Mouhssin. It was hard to leave as we had enjoyed the stay so much that we decided that we would return here again next time we venture across to the Northern Hemisphere. So in summary - you must stay at this hotel when in Doha. It is 5-star but very affordable and well worth the extra you may want to pay!
