After staying at the Ramada Encore in August, 2014, I returned in February, 2015, for a longer stay in much nicer weather. The hotel is situated in an older part of the city and one that is very ethnic, but that is something I enjoy. Staff at the Ramada Encore are very helpful and considerate, while accommodations and the restaurant are more than adequate. The lovely indoor swimming pool, gym, and sauna are a welcome addition to the amenities one can enjoy here.
I booked this hotel on-line for an overnight layover in Doha. The staff was very friendly, and arranged for a car to take me to the airport in the morning. It was comparable to a Ramada hotel in the US, and I felt safe there traveling alone as an American woman.
They took long time to process us and over charged us. Really bad experience and log time to sort things out after 16 hours flight. Absolutely not recommended.
it is a vivid room but it was really clean and comfortable room. also one of the worker accepted to put my luggage on the two days after i leave hotel.
I was there as a short layover en route to UK and the room was up to expectation and service was great! Would stay there again!
Although it is located quite a distance from the main attractions and center of the city, the hotel offers good value, pleasant views, a great pool, fitness center, and cozy restaurant. There are lots of other ethnic places in the immediate area, as well. Service was excellent with a very friendly staff. I would stay there again.
The location is great because it is only 10 minutes walk to the Souq.
Had an 8 hour layover in Qatar so I got a hotel room here. It was close to the airport and worked out perfect. The hotel and the room was very clean and the staff was very helpful.
Staff was very helpful and I was upgraded to a better room. It is conveniently close to the airport and I found using the hotel car to the airport reasonably priced and convenient. Give the full breakfast a try, the food was excellent and gave kept me going till the evening! Very good value, clean, helpful - I recommend it!

I was stranded in Doha for 20+ hours so I looked up hotels near the airport and this one came up. Good price value for cleanliness, comfort and proximity to the airport.
The hotel staff was amazingly friendly. The only problems that I had was the room I reserved wasn't available to me & and they did not have any hand towels. Normally I bring my own, but I decided not to because I've been to several hotels in the states and they've all had plenty of them. But the hotel was perfect for a non-expensive stay. I was right I the center of Doha, which made the cab fares very reasonable. I really enjoyed my stay at the hotel!
i would stay here again because it is clean and convenient for business. when the weather is cool, it is about a 20min walk to souq waqif so you can combine a little exercise with a nice dinner if you are traveling for business. easy spot to be picked up and dropped off for appointments in the industrial areas.
This business trip to Doha QATAR was my first business trip to the Middle East, and was very testing in numerous ways, but to no fault of the Hotel Ramada Encore. All of the staff members at Ramada Encore were the most accommodating Hotel staff with respect to my odd set of circumstances. One staff member that helped me throughout my whole trip and stay there at Ramada Encore was Florence at the front desk. She should be commended for her courteous and tenacious professionalism. I suppose it is easy when you're traveling and things don't go right to take things out on the Hotel employees and management, as I saw some of the front desk staff members go through some of these stressful type interfaces with Hotel guests during their checking in, but in each case, I witnessed, and this was knowing no more than I did, the Hotel employees maintaining calm and extreme professionalism. Also, I really did notice the higher star rating of Ramada Encore when I made these reservations, and NOW I know why it was so high. Finally, every meal I had there was very tasty and met and exceeded my expectations, even the Cheese Burger with French Fries. The Breakfast Buffet was absolutely first class awesome. Ramada Encore…Thanks for accommodating me on my trip. My only wish is that my wife could have been there to enjoy it with me.
