We (my wife, 2 daughters and I) had an unexpected stopover in Doha when our flights back from Johannesburg were altered and we missed our connection to Edinburgh. Qatar Airways put us up in the Millennium until our flight the next day. We were expecting something expedient. Thanks to the Millennium and their wonderful staff, what we got was a delightful bonus day to finish our 3 week holiday. The hotel was comfortable, clean and blessed relief from the searing heat outside. The food was fabulous and the service exceptional - the staff could not do enough to make our stay pleasant and enjoyable. Special thanks to Shahid on concierge who went out of his way to organise a driver to take us to the souk at short notice and ensured we were picked up and returned to the hotel in time to be driven to the airport to catch our flight home. What started out as an inconvenience turned out to be a great end to our trip. Thanks to all the staff at the Millenium Doha.

Highly recommended to stay not only for family or group but even for singles.. rooms, food and the service are great.. all the staffs are very hospitable and accommodating.. thanks to Ms. Rajaa for her kind and fast assistance..

Hotel rooms nothing like the photos on the site. I had a deluxe room and whilst it was clean it was shabby. Curtains old and stained and not fitted properly. ONE coffee saschet only. Wallpaper stained. Really very ordinary. Breakfast- I had a slice of cheese,a small slice of smoked salmon, a date and a type of herbed pizza bread. A cup of coffee and a grapefruit juice. This cost $120 ad. That's about $43A ,!, the staff were nice but the hotel is terrible and it's about 20minutes out of Doha centre.

Nice Hotel with convenient rooms for the business traveller and excellent, warm, service. During Ramadan sensible eating is provided in the rooftop (Cosmo) restaurant enabling visitors to eat without offending local customs. Very thoughtful.

All was fine with the stay , the bell boys were very helpful, the rooms were good except for some snags in the Bathroom, the rooms are not sound proof the noise from as the corridor can be heard. Housekeeping was good👍 Overall a good hotel , mind you though the place doesn't serve alcohol

As I normally review establishments after I have been there, I decided this time ill review it 3 times the start, half way through and the end of my stay. Well so far exceptional is the first word that springs to mind when looking to describe this hotel. At the millennium the guests are shown so much attention and care it is perfect the staff are all friendly and welcoming from the moment you step through the hotel door. the concierge service and reception staff and friendly and professional adding that real personal touch to the beginning of your stay. The hotel is spotlessly clean and maintained throughout. the staff are always busy attending to the needs of guests and the hotel, with such an emphasis on attention to details. After my first night I woke to find a newspaper hanging on the outside of my door, the staff wishing me a good day as I walked to breakfast. The breakfast offering was superb in both quality and flavour. As well as having western style foods the breakfast offering was full of fresh fruit and traditional cuisine offerings. the waiting staff were on the ball and very welcoming, the table side manner was faultless by all staff serving. the facilities I have yet to explore but from the information given to me when checking in they are in abundance. I will look forward to reviewing these over the next 35 days. The rooftop restaurant offers a sheik and modern ergonomic design and styling with great atmosphere and warm welcome. The food offering itself is of stunning quality, with hot and cold foods, including and vast selection salad bar, bread station, and multiple dessert fridges offering elegant looking mini gateaux's and sweet desserts. something the kitchen staff do extremely well here. A stand out member of the serving team on duty for lunch today was Nuwan. He boasted great attention to the little touches found in all high end restaurants I have been to. anticipating customers needs and requests, with a massive smile he got great pleasure out of making me feel very comfortable in a superb setting for lunch. As you will grasp from the above the entire team at the Millennium Hotel Doha, have set the bar very high indeed I look forward to the rest of my 35 days here and reviewing the remaining facilities and restaurants available to myself. Mr Thomas.

Due to a medical emergency, my husband and I were checked into this hotel by Qatar Airways while we waited for our next available flight. There was some issue with hotel vouchers and such (some mishaps between the airlines and the hotel), but the hotel staff was most accommodating while we waited for them to sort it out. The front desk staff acceded to my requests for frequent calls to the airline to check on the status of our room voucher, and Mr Shaheed especially made sure our bags were delivered and flight preferences booked while I attended to my very sick husband. Can't say much about the location as we were only there for 4h in the middle of the night, but the rooms were very comfortable and staff were attentive and friendly. Considering our circumstances, the staff, esp Mr Shaheed, treated us well and no different from paying customers. Highly recommended, and will stay there again if i stop by Qatar in the future.

I recommend this hotel for everyone visiting Doha for business , wonderful atmosphere and very friendly staff , very comfy bed and pillows and breakfast is awesome; great food variety, will defiantly stay in every time i visit Doha

Was booked into the Millennium due to a delay on Qatar Airways. Firstly, the hotel is quite a drive away from the Airport - no less than 25 minutes away. The hotel is not located in the best area, with the view from my room looking out over crowded apartment blocks with washing lines full of laundry. The hotel itself is really wonderful though - spacious rooms, WONDERFULLY cold air conditioning and comfortable beds. Since the airline issued vouchers for meals - I opted for the downstairs buffet style restaurant - while this was adequate, I would recommend the a la carte room service menu instead. Overall a pleasant stay though.

I would like to simply say that almost everyone Exceeded expectations, not that I expected less yet staff, all of them, was very helpful, friendly, cheerful and cooperative of all means. I was on B&B, the breakfast is awesome; great food variety, nice atmosphere, pretty clean place, and good window of time. It was my first time there, yet I'm sure it's not the last. Thank you all.
