Wellll a good hotel pocket friendly, staff is co operative but force to work within defined frame so no flexibility which lead to less cooperation..... but over all good one, seems recently renovated, in my stay buffet breakfast was there and my stay was for almost 15+ days but breakfast menu was same on all the days with little variations, we requested FO to introduce more varieties in breakfast but they were helpless. Location is very good , across the road there is big mall on walking distance and all the things are available, you can find some good vegetarian restaurants also with Indian food. So location wise 5 star.
The hotel is situated in Al Mansoora Doha, very close to a small mall where there is different restaurants and Al meera Supermarket, it is close to the airport and easy access to all major areas in Doha. The breakfast is not really good , the staff are not really helpful. The rooms are clean with old furniture, the list of TV channels is very poor .
Hotel is good for stay... rooms are clean, and hotel include good gym and swimming pool for customers use.. further on 20 steps away there is Almeera which is big chain for grocery items and good Indian restaurants near by
The room was clean, but really not worth the money for. Staff were helpful but when i check-out and asked for a taxi to the airport they offered me their own hotel taxi for 65 Riyals which I refuse since i only paid 45 Riyals when i first arrive to Doha and get to Al Muntazah Plaza hotel. I then asked the receptionist to call me another taxi witch he refuse pretexting that they had to call 2 hours before for a none-hotel taxi. I got upset of the hotel technic and decided to take my stuff and walk around looking for taxi. Lucky i found one after 15 min of walk and still have plenty of time till my flight . But i guess if you wouldnt have plenty of time like me before your flight you would feel forced to take their taxi. I would not recommend the hotel and the hotel only have wifi in the lobby and in your room u have to use a wireless connection which didnt fit my mac.
Im trying to remember anything good about this hotel but cant find anything. I paid approximately 100 USD per night and i had the smallest room i ever seen in my life. The location is very far from town. This hotel is taking advantages on people who dont have visa on arrival and they charge up to 120 USD for that. I was so disappointed that i was willing to change the hotel even though i paid the money but they dont allowed as they consider to be my guarantee for the period of staying in qatar. I tried to solve this problem with the manager but he never even care to meet. I would refuse to stay in this hotel even for free.
Stayed here for 3 nights..Booked via Booking.com at the last moment..the staff were extremely courteous..room was clean though furnished with very minimum amenities..Breakfast was ok with very limited items..Food served from the restaurant was decent but a bit overpriced considering that this is ideally a budget hotel..swimming pool & gym was under renovation..overall value for money if you are looking for a place to crash..
stayed here for one month....its a OK place to stay ...had booked a 3 Bed room and kitchen included..has a small swimming pool and under construction small gym...staff is good...over all a decent place to stay...
Stayed here for 3 nights while visiting Doha for an exhibition. Booked at short notice via Booking.com and found that the price was unbelievably good value when compared with many of the other hotels. The staff were very courteous and helpful, room clean and more than adequate for a few nights accommodation. Breakfast was included, which consisted of buffet with a fair choice of options. The evening meal buffet was had a fair selection of options and was good value. The only downside was that there was no airport shuttle as advertised, the hotel couldn't (or wouldn't) call for a taxi (one has to walk about 100 m to a local supermarket to find one). The advertised free WiFi is only available in the Lobby or restaurant (network internet is available in your room if you have a laptop and lead). If you're looking for a budget hotel and not expecting 5* treatment from a 3* hotel! this place is worth considering. Personally, I would definitely stay here again without looking at other options if visiting Doha for a few days in the future.
I stayed at the hotel for 41 nights on a monthly package/contract. Amazingly the sence of logic does not prevail in the hotel policy. i.e. after completion of one month on monthly rate, the rates goes back to daily charge!! Please expect a NO!! to every request you have made. The manager is well tranined enough to tell you to go look for another hotel, why did u choose this hotel?!! There is no WIFI!! but the hotel has enough money to install clading on the outside of the hotel, but no WIFI. There is WIFI in the lobby, but that is also slow as all the guests are found siting in the lobby. The room's cable internet is too slow. Staff is friendly, but helpless. Food is very expensive and it consists of 4 dishes comprising of one soup, one salad. The main dishes consists of 2 rice dishes(one of them boiled rice) and 2 more dishes and one desert. Better to eat outside. It does not have a 24hrs room service. The only Plus point I see is the location as there is a big supermarket close by. The rooms are really tiny and small. The TV channel's reception is very bad. I wonder how other people have said that it is a good hotel..!! The shower in the Bathroom is so slow that it takes ages to take a shower. All rooms smell of cigerettes. If you ask for extra towel the house keeping peeps in our room to see where is the previous towel. and so you cannot have 2 towels in your room. CAREFULL!!! If you loose your room key card you will be charged QR 35/- for a replacement. (So next time if some one is checking in, please bring some spare key cards from other hotels and donate it to Al Muntaza..!!) Not a single day had passed when I did not see some one fighting or arguing with the hotel staff or manager. All in All very bad experience, right from service to the attitude of the hotel manager and envoirment. This is no where close to a 3 star hotel. This is probably a low grade hotel apartment.
My sponsor in Qatar booked me for 1 month in this hotel, I, however, stayed for 28 days. When I tried to check out I was informed that I had to pay QAR 263 for orders that I have taken during my tenure. I informed the receptionist that the hotel still owes me QAR 400 for the 2 days that I didn't utilize in hotel and they can take the QAR 263 out of the 400 I owe them. I was informed that this money is non-refundable and I still have to pay for my orders. I protested against this unfair policy to the receptionist and asked him for me to speak to the manager (I wish I haven't). The manager was utterly rude and non-understanding and on top of that he was addressing me with the utmost condescending manner, as if I was a servant in his household, not a guest in a hotel that he happens to manage! I was rudely and threateningly informed by him that I either have to pay for my orders or he will charge me the daily rate for a deluxe room, which is QAR 450 for the 28 days I have stayed there! The man was a control freak, his attitude is similar to that of a prison warden not a hotel manager. I ended up paying the QAR 263 and they have confiscated QAR 400 that I owe them. Consider going to a different hotel if you happen to be in Doha.
