The best aspect of the hotel was the free secure parking. The receptionist was friendly and helpful. But the room was possibly the smallest we have ever had. It felt like sleeping in a container. Noise from outside and upstairs was a real nuisance. Breakfast was very basic. We were happy to get back on the road.
We used this hotel as a basic overnight on our trip to Italy, it was the second cheapest (like wine, always avoid the bottom of the list) so we were expecting very little. There is loads of parking, and it looks appealing on approach, always a good sign. We were greeted by an exceptionally friendly and helpful host, who moved us to a ground floor room without being asked, once she saw I was using a stick. There are food and drink vending machines in reception, but no restaurant. Our room was spotless and smelled clean, with enough space for an overnight stay, and charging points for everyone! The bed was exceptionally comfortable...or we were over tired! Breakfast is cheap, but plentiful, and the coffee machine produces a good wake up juice! There is a very good restaurant next door, so nobody needs to go hungry or thirsty, but if you have a picnic, there are tables outside for you, and you will not be alone! We are planning on using this as our regular stopping point now, as we can’t imagine finding any better without spending significantly more money!
Stayed at the hotel as a midway point to and from Spain. Had previously stayed in a no frills Motel opposite to this property and was pleasantly surprised that this was cheaper and had the added bonus of a private bathroom no more running down the corridor in my PJs Yey! the beds were comfortable and the room was cool we arrived in 30c heat so it was a welcome oasis of quite and calm. Would definitely recommend to others. There is a restaurant next door but other than that you would need to venture out and after 7 hours driving it’s not the first thing on your mind.
The room and bathroom were clean and contained a wardrobe and shelves. The room was adequate for a 1 or 2 night stay. We requested a room away from the area where the smokers congregated - we were given one on the first floor which we thought was good until we realized that the smokers stood on the balconies outside their rooms on the 1st floor smoking and throwing their cigarette ends down into the parking spaces below! There is a notice telling guests to be quiet after 10pm. but this is just ignored. There were car doors slamming after midnight and people laughing and talking outside their rooms - sorry to say these people were English! We took the car into the lovely centre and found it easy to park for free in the streets about 20 minutes walk away from the centre
Travelling from the Netherlands tot the south of France Dijon Nord is more or less half way. Staying there breaks up the journey. Arriving just after nine, the reception was very kind and helpful. Even a nice place to have a drink outside! We like the ‘coursive’ idea along the rooms. Rooms are small but convenient for our purpose. Beds are good as is breakfast for little money. Lots of parking spaces.
it was nicve hotel, clean service everyday, a little small room, but nice for some days, well connected to the city , and nice staff, one day the water was not working but in the end it was fixed, I recommend it
If you don't speak French you will get NO support after 9 PM. There is an automatic check-in terminal and if there is sth wrong with your reservation details (as it was in my case - sb at the hotel entered my personal details incorrectly) you will get no help in any other way than on the phone and in any other language than French. And if you don't manage to check-in using the terminal then this means you have no access to the room. Also, after 9 PM the parking is closed and in order to get in you need to wait for sb driving out (again because there is no-one at the reception desk and you don't have instructions from the hotel how to get in with the pin number). Finally, when I managed to get to my room using trial and error method at the terminal (my first name was entered as my surname) - the shades were broken and stuck in the open position and the TV did not work (no signal from the antenna). Very poor welcome. Fortunately, I booked only for one day.
Stayed here for one night en route to Croatia. Positives first:- Dead easy to find. Easy to access Pleasant and helpful reception staff Clean linen Plenty of hot water Negatives It’s a dump! The four rooms we had stank of stale cigarette smoke, the bathroom is far too small, the shower was more of a drip The hot water was so hot I got burnt There are fag burns on all the surfaces It felt very insecure The light didn’t work The shutter wouldn’t open The room next door was smoking weed (not the hotels fault) I wouldn’t stay here or any Premiere classe for love nor money again.
This is the most basic of budget hotels. Rooms are tiny. Bathroom is no bigger than a shower cubicle. Bed uncomfortable. Kept falling into the middle of the bed it sagged so much. Room stank of stale cigarette smoke. No tea/coffee making facilities available in the room. Very basic and expensive breakfast. Certainly not worth the 6.90 euros each we were charged. When booking the room 6 months ago, I asked for 2 rooms next to each other as travelling with 2 teenagers. We were given rooms at the opposite ends of the building. Receptionist unhelpful when we showed her our booking asking for rooms next to each other. Very much used as a stop off place for contractors. Certainly not what we were expecting. The room was clean and the sheets were nicely ironed but the pillows werent really pillows - more like lumpy cushion.
We used the premier classes as a one night stop over on our way down to Cannes. The room was laughably small but was absolutely fine for one night. The shower room was also tiny. However, the room was completely clean and served the function as a stop over. Beds were large enough and comfy. Plenty of clean bedding. Reception staff were helpful. We paid for breakfast which was the usual seemingly overpriced French experience, but this allowed us time together over a coffee before we hit the road again. As a family of four we booked two twin rooms. I was concerned that the hotel would be noisy (as the room door leads onto the outside walkway), but most people staying were tired travellers like us, many with young families. Possibly staying on the top floor like we did would help to reduce noise?? Overall, this is a stop over hotel. Great clean value for money- I would stay again!!!
