Even though the staff at the Hotel didnt speak very much English, they did their best to try. The hotel was very clean and cozy in the lobby. The room was incredibly clean and their breakfast, even though they charged, was incredibly good. I really loved the stay here.

Located right on the main water front, the location is amazing. With the Chateau le Dieppe directly to your left on a cliff, the view is extraordinary. However, I found the Mercure la Presidence to be false in its name. It is very sub par hotel with very little comfort. If you are going to travel while there it is sufficient as was the case with my wife and I. However, no poo, subpar lobby and run down hallways take make it not an ideal hotel. We stayed in the higher end room and were better off going lower price for same quality. Go to Dieppe, just dont stay at Le Mercure!
A nice stylish room greeted us. Staff spoke good English and were friendly and helpful. The location is great with ocean view rooms on one side, and right near a historic castle. Probably the nicest hotel on this street.
