This is a great apartment. 3 Double beds plus 2 day beds and a small sofa bed downstairs. Host very friendly and helpful. Site shared with apartment below, so you might be occasionally sharing the pool. Given the terraced nature of the land around here the pool is a bit above the house so if you had small children you would not be able to see them from the house. Pool is bigger than it looks. The driveway is very steep. You are just outside the town of Diano Castello which is about a 5 minute walk away. There's a bit there including a nice cafe with views to the sea (we went there a lot) and a restaurant at the other end of town (we did not go there). There are a number of churches worth a look and you can also take in a game of Sferico (a kind of tennis/handball cross) as you pass the local court on the way in. The cafe has a tiny shop. Diano Marina is about a 10 minute drive (mostly due to windy roads). There are a few supermarkets there - Besko is on the way into town and is a bit cheaper than PAM which is further away. Diano Marina is a fairly typical beach town with a good pedestrianised area with shops, cafes, restaurants etc. The seafront is also typical for the area mostly covered with "beach clubs" where you have to pay and small areas of public beach which are fine. Imperia is a bigger city about 15 minutes more away. Similar vibe. Big garden full of flowers
