Room was clean, only complaint is when requesting fresh milk when checking in they said they would charge me £6 to bring that, after a long drive from London I just anted a cup of tea! Had to get my shoes on again go down to an empty reception and bar area with staff just hanging around which felt a bit lazy and odd. Everything was very nice and clean. Our room smelled wonderful, like fabric softener. We would especially like to thank the cleaning staff. My humble suggestions would be not to use a shower curtain and to provide a toilet brush. The location was also very good — the hotel was very close to the exam center, and there were cafés and markets nearby where you could find breakfast and coffee early in the morning. Thank you for everything.

The hotel and room were very clean. The food is excellent, as good as we had when eating out at restaurants in Exeter, if not better. The staff are all great, very helpful and friendly, that also makes the hotel stand out.

Room and breakfast were ok however staff attitude was far from satisfactory The staff at the Leonardo hotel were frequently inconsistent and unhelpful. Doubtful about their professionalism and different staff repeating themselves. They were unable to connect a call to my guest over the room phone and relayed inaccurate information across. One staff cited faulty communication equipment thus necessitating an unnecessary journey in a storm.
