Great hotel, good location, room small but clean and tidy. Staff behind bar very friendly and talkative. Great selection of food for breakfast. Unable to comment on food from menu as did not eat in the hotel. Would definitely stay again and recommend.
This was a one night stay for business. Reception and all the staff couldn't have been friendlier or more helpful. I received an upgraded room and it was clean and comfortable. There was an excellent selection of food for breakfast and overall it was a very pleasant stay.
Great value for money and excellent location, clean rooms and welcoming staff. We got a great deal with 25% off, second time I've used this hotel, will most definitely return again in the future. Thanks!
Really impressed with this hotel. The staff were all really friendly and welcoming. Room was lively and clean and comfy. Shower was great and there was a bath too if you wanted it. Extremely good value.
I stayed here for one night while on a tour. The room was spacious and very comfortable. I have found UK hotels to be overheated but this one wasn't. Therestaurant was splendid and the two young waiters were so respectful and polite. It is very central to the high street and the cathedral, and the bus station. I would stay here again.
Another great stay with lovely beds and bedding, service and delicious breakfast. Nothing was to much trouble .Would definitely return and recommend to all .Great location near to town and restaurants
Outstanding service received from Thierry on the reception, extremely helpful and a credit to the hotel. The rooms are very comfortable great choice of food for breakfast great menu to choose from for evening meals.
This is a good for business travellers who want to stay near the town centre. My room was fine. DI didn't use local amenities as was too tired and did not look into it, but will do so next time. The reception and room service staff were very friendly as were the staff at the restaurant during breakfast.
I booked this hotel as it was within walking distance to The Phoenix. Warm welcome from reception. Added breakfast on arrival. Room right next to the lift, 507, small and smelt so strongly of TCP you could taste it. If we hadn't been able go open a window we would have requested a change of room but eventually it got bearable. Air con far to noisy to run. Bathroom ok, clean but shower door in need of refurb as very grubby. Shower pressure excellent and lovely large towels. Slept well. Tea and coffee facilities ok - kettle very grubby too. The big surprise was breakfast - so much choice and some lovely things to eat - all well presented and nicely cooked. Could not fault and excellent value - one of the best chain hotel breakfasts we have had. Check out smooth - £9 for parking in NCP car park opposite - only a small amount saved on normal price. We would return but not to that room as the noise from people using the lift was disturbing.
Stayed here for one night, the staff very friendly, service good, had a couple of drinks before we went out, staff ordered a taxi for us which was very quick. Breakfast was everything you could ask for, tea, coffee, fruit juices, cooked breakfast,or continental. Would definitely stay here again.
