"I rarely leave negative reviews, but I feel obligated to warn other travelers especially families with young children. The cleanliness of the villa was unacceptable. There was heavy dust buildup behind curtains and throughout the rooms, the bathrooms were in very poor condition, and there appeared to be bug or rodent droppings in multiple areas. The property is clearly aging, which I could have overlooked if it had at least been properly maintained and cleaned. What was most disappointing was the misleading setup of the “3-bedroom sea view villa.” The rooms are actually separated and not fully connected, which was never clearly disclosed in the listing. Traveling with my four-year-old, two-year-old, and 12-year-old, this setup was completely inappropriate and created unnecessary stress and safety concerns for my family. To make matters worse, we specifically booked this property for beach access, only to be informed after our arrival that the beach would be closed on Saturday for a private event. The scenery itself is beautiful, but overall the stay was absolutely not worth the money paid. Between the poor cleanliness, misleading accommodation layout, and lack of transparency regarding amenities, I would not recommend staying here in its current condition."

"The Sea Cliff hotel is situated in a nice spot in Portmore. The scenery was stunning; however, what let the hotel/resort down was that the room had only cold water, and all three rooms I booked had cold water. The restaurant was pricy and the food wasn’t great. The pool wasn’t cleaned covered in dead leaves etc. The receptionist was accommodating allow a fridge to be placed in one room, allowing us to keep our drinks cool. However, I don't think I would recommend staying here; maybe have drinks, look at the scenery, and leave."
