Nazaki Beach Hotel & Spa Maldives
2/5 Poor
"What's on the Expedia app isn't what actually happens at the hotel, and there are things not mentioned on the app. Regarding the room, the headboard was clean, but the windows were dirty. The shower didn't work well. There were rats roaming the hotel's outdoor areas. The food was only Indian and Indonesian, and everything had chili, curry, and soy sauce. There was no red meat or pork because, due to the island's religious customs, these meats are forbidden. The hotel owner lives in one of the rooms and is constantly walking around the hotel. The staff are very helpful and try their best, but the hotel lacks the infrastructure to cater to guests. I'm diabetic, and the hotel didn't offer anything sugar-free, nor was it suitable for teenagers. The hotel's boat for excursions was very basic and didn't have a life jacket in my size. I bought the entire menu, which didn't include drinks; I had to pay extra for that. The menu isn't diverse; it's always the same type of food, and after three days you'll never like everything."
