Sleeping Giant Rainforest Lodge
5/5 Excellent
"This property is nestled inside its own private jungle. It's a very large, well kept property, with the rooms/cottages spread around so you have a good deal of privacy. There are only 20 rooms so it's not very busy and you often find yourself alone enjoying the peace and quiet of nature. They offer complimentary espresso machines, yoga mats, bicycles, paddle boards, and Kayaks. The pool is 24/7 and there are plenty of hikes nearby. They also offer tons of activities that you pay for separately.
The restaurant having incredible food was a major plus including a giant woodfire pizza oven (didn't come to Belize for Pizza but not going to say I didn't enjoy it).
I recommend picking up some fruit and hiking snacks on the way because they don't have any stores nearby. Each room has it's own filtered water machine. "
