Amazing vacation

Light from hallway

Overall good. Didnt like all the security and inability to acces beach before 9:00 a.m. Guest room needs drape to keep out light from hallway at nite.

The property is nice, some rennovations but not a lot. I was surprised to have to have to pay an additional $40 for wristbands after this was booked and paid for. For all the fees that are charged wristbands should be included. The showers need detachable handhelds in them. As a professional pilot I have stayed in over 300 different hotels, rental properties, etc, and this one had the worst beds I have ever stayed at, anywhere. The floor would have been more comfortable than the mattresses in the condo. Just being honest about this. Sure, nice new granite counters are nice but how about investing a bit of money in some mattresses that are not like sleeping on bricks? Location is great but they need to invest some more $ on the amenities inside and not surprise people with additinonal fees once they have already paid 100% in advance.

Family vacation

Property was clean and bright. Great view of the ocean. We enjoyed out time on the beach and exploring Destin. Everything was close by. Would definitely stay here again.

Safe, clean, needs a few things updated

Safe, clean unit, friendly atmosphere. Beautiful view. A few things need updating, wall sockets in bedrooms, noisy bathroom fan and bad door on balcony.

Beautiful view of the gulf

The only reason I could not give this 5 stars is because we were disappointed that we could not use our balcony for 1 week of our stay as it was closed for painting. We had a beautiful view of the pool and the gulf. The condo was very nice and equipped with everything we needed. The back Porch restaurant is a short walk down the beach. Beautiful sunset views. We would absolutely recommend this unit!

Disappointed

Everything looked great online there was a short statement way down in the property description about some work being done at the complex but arrived to find a large motorized scaffolding on our balcony and two men working on the only day we were there painting our balcony so there was no view and no access to the balcony. I contacted the property manager and was told the owner would not make any compensation for the work because supposedly the rate had been altered for that but it was definitely not altered for that situation. They need to consider more carefully that people are paying for experiences with there families and balconies under complete renovation without notification is ridiculous I was meeting my son who is an active Captain in the Army and His family who I don’t get to see very often and this definitely affected our stay.

Very Clean and Modern! Great Location!

This condo was very clean, modern and comfortable. We loved being on the first floor, just above the pool and beach. The location is in the middle of Destin and close to everything, easy walking distance to The Back Porch. There was a lot of exterior painting be done, which never was a problem for us. The complex is well maintained, and the management company reached out to us several times to make sure everything was fine during our stay. This is a really nice place that we will stay at again.

Little dated but clean

Terrible communication w/Realjoy whom we booked it through. I had to call them 15 mins before arrival to get the code to get in (other companies send it an hr or so before). No instructions on how to leave things (towels in bathtub) etc. lastly the resort wouldn’t let us lock up a rented paddle board behind the trees & it didn’t fit in the elevator (1st floor but parking garage on ground level). We lifted it over the balcony, not sure what we’d have done had we been on any other floor!

Property was overpriced Beach was not good due to umbrella policy Not enough beach front to support all the guest so 2/3 of the guest had to rent umbrellas in 2nd and third rows meanwhile most of the front rows were unoccupied

Great place better location!

Loved the room and condo building. Warm pool was perfect. Better than any other place I’ve stayed. Grill area was clean and excellent too. Plenty of parking and lady at HOA was great to.
