SunDestin Unit 1004 is an invitingly delightful one bedroom, one- and one-half bathroom condo accommodating up to four. Nice place, good size room, comfy bed, easy beach access, convenient onsite shop, fast elevators, strong water pressure, beautiful gulf views. But a couple of upgrades could make this a 5 star...dark shades in bedroom to block morning sunlight, fix slow tub drain, replace couch and recliner...they are dingy and not comfortable. There is also no washer/dryer.

Wonderful Place!

Everything from front desk staff, bar/grill staff, the store and just everyone we met were all so bery nice and helpful. Soon after arriving, I realized the fridge wasnt working right (around 10pm), so they sent a repairman up early next morning and when he couldnt fix it, they just brought us a "loaner" fridge with a nice note saying that a new one was ordered. Throughout the process staff kept me updated via text so that I knew exactly when I could get groceries delivered. We had THE BEST view of the ocean also. My son (10 yo) vried so hard when he saw the view of the ocean. Thanks for making his 1st time seeing the ocean so wonderful.

Great location, paper thin walls

Overall it was a good trip. There was a used fork in our living room centerpiece when we came in, and the pull out bed is terrible - you have to sleep upside down or your blood would rush to your head! And walls were paper thin so you could hear literally everything (doors, kids, etc). A very family friendly resort, lots of kids. I would probably try to stay somewhere less crowded next time if I had the same group (me, partner, & another couple). Views were amazing. Bar/restaurant downstairs was nice. Televisions wouldn’t work with HDMI adapters to watch movies. Internet was slow on iOS devices. Comfortable recliner. Kitchen not equipped with even salt and pepper - we left some for the next guests, though. Only 2 trashbags so save your grocery bags. A good trip if you’re not spending a ton of time in the room.

SunDestin Review

Unit 1004 is simply gorgeous! We have stayed in other units and I really loved the furnishings in this one! The only issue was the DVD player. We like to watch movies once back at the condo for the evening and couldn’t get either DVD player to work. However, maintenance took care of it right away. Because every DVD was horribly scratched, we still couldn’t enjoy a movie! Perhaps limit the rentals to adults to take care of them better. We saw kids at the kiosk not even using the sleeves available. Of course this didn’t affect our stay at all but it’s an amenity that we couldn’t really partake in. We love the SunDestin and stay here often with my sister. Will definitely be back!

Beautiful apartment

Well appointed and sparkling clean, the apartment with its well-equipped kitchen and two bathrooms was uber comfortable and lovely with waves crashing beyond the beach just below.
