Sandpiper Cove is 43 acres in a gated community which is a beachfront complex of 630 units with direct deeded access to white sandy sugar beaches that Destin is known for. Sandpiper Cove boast of many amenities including a gated community, 5 swimming pools, 3 hot tubs, 6 tennis courts, a Par 3 executive 9 hole golf course and 2 onsite restaurants. This was my second time to stay in this unit. Once on a girls trip and this time on a family trip. Close to the beach and nice property. Very affordable and great location.

Great place!

Overall, this was a great place for our family. Very clean and conveniently located. My only negative comment is on the back deck. Some of the rails are very loose/rusted out and our kids (3 & 5) pushed through them with no effort.

Great place but managed poorly!

I hate to give this place such a bad rating, but it's because it's mainly due to being poorly managed by Emerald Coast Vacations. This place is in a perfect location and the condo was updated nicely. But, basically our family walked into a dirty condo, with dirty linen, dirty bathroom, etc....the unit was never cleaned from prior guest. I reached out to the property management and was told there was a mistake and to wait for a call back regarding what time the cleaning crew would arrive. So long story short, after waiting 15 minutes for a call back, that I never received. I had to call the property management back myself. Then was spoken to rudely and unprofessionally and to make matters worst the gentleman hung up on me, because we wanted a exact time our condo would be cleaned. Fyi the cleaning crew finally showed up around 5:30. Which was a hour and half after check-in time. So yes if you choose sandpiper cove. I would not recommend booking through Emerald Coast Vacations on VRBO. We understand things happen, but the situation was not handled well and the level of professionalism was poor . We would probably stay here again only if booked from the true owner.
