Road Trip

The unit was as described it was very close to the beach and restaurants, would stay again. It was very clean the pool was heated and everyone in the area were nice.

Vacation with toddlers

Location is amazing. Had to bring everything for my twins as rental does not have high chairs and cribs. Other than that, we loved our stay!

Grandma's old place

This place is begging for some renovation. Everything is super old, but owners are being cheap on everything and are charging same premium prices as everyone else who actually renovate their properties. We just decided on a 1 week vacation last minute, and there's a reason this was still available last minute. But it's close to the beach, across the street...

Exactly as promised

Chataeu Le Mer is delightfully low key for Destin. Bobbies condo just as depicted. Comfortable, well equipped kitchen, and quick walk to the beach. Not exactly luxurious but I didn't expect it to be. Enjoyed the patio out back.

Beautiful Condo with Great Location

Condo was extremely clean and comfortable. No issues with any bugs as stated in other review. It's on the ground level with a nice back patio with a large green space. We loved that we were right across the street from the beach access and could ride our bikes anywhere. We didn't need to drive anywhere the entire trip. My only suggestion for improvement would be to have 2 sets of towels so I didn't have to do laundry. We had to share a wash rag. Bring your own trash bags, TP, and paper towels. Overall a lovely place to stay and we would book again!

Roaches all over the apartment and extremely dirty.

We would like a refund back. The apartment was extremely dirty and we found roaches every single night that we had to leave our vacation early

Beach Vacation

Unit was dated but well decorated and clean. Close to the beach and amenities. The only negative we had was that the outside shower(s) need to be upgraded.

All we needed!

Very good experience! The listing did not mention AC but fortunately it was there! Kitchen very well equipped. I would only mention that we would have appreciated kitchen and toilet paper (we had to buy it) and hand soap. Nice king mattress. No linens for the pull out sofa, but I had brought mine.

Very nice place for minimal rent.

Very nice place to stay for the price. Unit was directly across street from beach with private access to beach. Is a little dated but nice and very well kept. Also has nice large back yard area that kids enjoyed while taking breaks from beach. Would definitely recommend staying here.

Unit 1A - Gem of Chateau La Mer

We have been coming to Destin 11 years and to Chateau La Mer. This unit is the nicest 1 bedroom. The owner takes meticulous care and provides nothing but the best. New pots/pans. Matching dinnerware and glassware. Furniture is in beautiful condition. It is nicely decorated and so well kept up. Two disadvantages I would say is there is no in unit washer/dryer and the bathroom entry from the bedroom is a little narrow. I recommend it to any couple.
