Located in the Heart of Destin Sterling Sands is a 110 unit mid-rise building, a heated pool directly on the beach.. Sterling Sands enjoys an ideal location in the heart of Destin & is convenient to shopping, golf, the airport, Big Kahunas water park, and the numerous restaurants in the area.

Sterling Sands is directly across the street from The Track Recreation area, and several walk to restaurants. Other attractions are over 200 holes of golf within 10 miles, Big Kahunas Water Park, 4 miles to Destin Harbor and home of the largest Charter Fishing Fleet in the Gulf of Mexico, 7 miles to the largest named brand shopping outlet in Silver Sands Shopping Outlet, and more restaurants per capita than any other area in Florida. Sterling Sands features 460 feet of sugar white beach with daily beach set ups, spacious tropical pool with hot tub, grilling area with beach view, and a gulf view fitness area.

Memorial Day weekend mini vacation

I had an amazing time and loved my stay at Sterling Sands 210 unit. Apartment is exactly as pictured, clean, organized and decorated with a nice beach vibe. Great ocean view from the balcony. The building was also very clean, as well as the pool and all other amenities. We had to pay for umbrella and beach chair service (I’ll assume this was related to the holiday weekend), but the service was great, we had our beach place reserved every day. With no doubt I would recommend and stay again in this unit for future vacations.

Checkin process was smooth and the condo was exactly as pictured. It was clean and tastefully decorated. The views were spectacular and beach chairs/umbrella included with the unit. Being on the second floor, close to elevator or stairwell made coming and going super easy. The beach was spectacular. The property grounds are well taken care of and all employed there were friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend this condo and looking forward to a repeat trip next year!

Perfectly LOVELY!

The condo was gorgeous and so comfortable! It felt like home! It has everything you will need and is very spacious and beautifully appointed. Reese the property manager did an excellent job responding to any and all of our questions promptly. The beach is wonderful and the pool and hot tub are great too. My only negative would be that someone needs to address the beach chair issue. If you stay at a high end resort and pay what you pay for this place, you should get beach chairs in the front row. We were stuck in the back row for the entire week, except for the last day when all chairs were in a single row. Both the property manager and the HOA said there was nothing they could do about that. For this price, there should be something they can do about that in my opinion. The beach is our top priority when we go to places like this. It matters and is expected at this price point.

Property was as advertised; clean, remodeled, convenient, comfortable. The only negative with our stay was the elevator was on the fritz for a couple days. Fortunately, we were on the second floor and it wasn’t as big of a problem as it could have been. Would highly recommend this property to family and friends.

We absolutely loved unit 210. Very convenient to everything including the elevator!! Place was very tastefully decorated!! Loved the view!! I was a little shocked at how dirty the floors were though. I understand that help is tough to find, so it’s not a deal breaker. Just made us wonder if the rest of the place was clean. We plan to stay here again in the future! I hope you guys can up your cleaning game, but we’ll be prepared to bring our own cleaning supplies. Especially during a time like this where cleanliness is so huge. Again not a deal breaker because this place was so nice. Thanks for allowing us to enjoy your place. See ya soon!! Hopefully!!

Great stay in a beautiful condo

Beautifully renovated condo. We always come back to Sterling Sands. Cleanliness was not as top notch as we’re used to (old food outside on balcony floor and balcony glass not cleaned). Beds, sheets, and pillows were very comfortable compared to past condos. Even our teenage kids said their beds were comfortable, which is so important when on vacation for several days. A plus, management company very responsive and easy to get a hold of.

Great location and very family friendly.

We have stayed in unit 210 for a few years now and truly enjoy it! The shower in the master can use a little extra cleaning and the bedspreads on the bed didn’t appear to have been recently washed. They also only had one kitchen towel. Other than that it was perfect and we are looking forward to next year!!

Disappointed about cleanliness, especially master bathroom, hair in tub and shower, ran out of TP, less than 1/2 roll of PT. 2 nd bedroom had check mix on the floor. Asked mgmt prior to vacation about pool and beach access early in day prior to check in. Was told “ don’t bother housekeeping .” Would have been nice to know beach umbrella and chairs available prior to check in on arrival day. The security guy, we call Mr. Tea, harassed us and others on the pool deck w/o bracelets, and continued to eagle eye the pool area and balcony’s throughout his shifts, no personality at all! No salt/ pepper or sugar/creamer for coffee.

Fabulous condo!

We loved our stay in your beautiful condo! The location is absolutely perfect! The view is spectacular! We were very comfortable with six people. The condo offers a ton of wonderful seating and fabulous dining area that is so comfortable! The beds and bedding are also very soft and cozy. We only had an issue with the refrigerator ice maker but due to the bar having a beverage refrigerator with ice maker in it, we were in perfect shape! I would definitely recommend this property to anyone visiting this area. We definitely will be back! Thanks for sharing it with us!

Beautiful property mediocre beach service

The condo is lovely and very clean. We couldn’t have asked for better in terms of accommodations. The only frustration we had was with the beach service. I realize it isn’t part of the condo, however it’s the reason we were there... the beach. We did receive a beach set up with the unit. The set up crew were short and rude when my dad when asked how to reserve a set up. We were put in the far back everyday and when we asked to please have an opportunity to move to the front, we were informed that there were lots of people ahead of us with “front row” reservations. There is absolutely zero room to set up a personal umbrella on the available Sterling Sands property. We were just overall unimpressed with the beach situation. Sitting in the far back dry sand by the steps and sweating is not my idea of a relaxing day at the beach.
