The only issue was the condo didn’t smell clean when we arrived. It had a foul smell. Seemed like French food was cooked or bad food was left in the place for extended periods of time.

Almost Perfect

Clean, spacious, and great amenities. It’s larger than it appears. Only downfall is there are absolutely nowhere to hang towels other than the three towel bars in the bathrooms (not enough for each person to hang). The water pressure is also very low in showers. We loved how we could see both ocean and bayside views. My young children also had plenty of space to nap and play. We will definitely be back. We weren’t able to use the ocean front deck the whole time due to waterproofing so make sure your unit will not be affected. Others staying at the condos were able to switch units by booking directly through Compass. We were stuck since we used VRBO (even though our unit was lovely it wasn’t quite the same without a balcony to drink your coffee and gaze into the ocean every morning).

5 star luxury

probably the nicest VRBO units I have ever stayed in, cannot think of one single thing the unit was lacking, the balcony facing the beach is very spacious with high quality furniture with an incredible view, the street side balcony also has a great view which is nice for a change of scenery, the place is furnished beautifully, beds are very comfortable which is uncommon in VRBO rentals, the owner went all out with the bed linens and towels which I feel is usually overlooked but important, the kitchen has everything you can need, the pool is always immaculate and the staff is very friendly, the building grounds are spotless, the only complaint I would have is that other units had guests that were constantly on their decks smoking which is by no means the responsibility of this units owner, I am just surprised that other units would ever allow smoking in their units, the unit is actually nicer and more spacious in person than what the pictures show.

Awesome vacation

We had an amazing stay at this property. We have 3 children under 10 and the rooms and layout of the condo were perfect. The views of the beach fr the balcony were amazing and having the pool was great for the days when swimming at the beach were not suitable due to winds. The kitchen had everything we needed. We got groceries across the street from Walmart, but there are plenty of restaurants nearby. The outlet mall was about 15 minutes away. Would definitely stay here again. The property was clean and staff were helpful.

Very nice condo with amazing view.

We enjoyed this condo so much. Had everything we needed for the week. Family of 7 had plenty of room and comfortable beds to sleep in. buildings and pools are very nice and clean. Only things that need to be looked at is the laundry room door, and master bathroom door would not latch and stay closed. Wasn't a huge issue. Would stay in this unit again.

Great location but….

Check in on Sunday evening was challenging. Communication with property manager was almost nonexistent even on the VRBO site. The location was great. Floors were dirty. Feet would turn black if walked bare footed. With 2 toddlers, this was a problem. They sent someone to ‘re-clean’ them.

very clean, with a great view

the property is very nice and the unit is decorated well - and it's very clean. it's in a great location. we thought there was a fitness center, though, and there is not. only one pool was heated but it's off season so that is understandable. being on the 18th floor gave a great view and the balcony is nice and large. also, there is no spa at this location either, so disregard the emails you will get from compass management (company that manages this property). it's pretty misleading. several other guests made the same comment. silver beach towers is different from silver shells (where the spa is - and probably fitness center too) and even chatting with someone online from compass will not clear that up, as i was told before going that yes, there's a spa and gym. anyway the actual condo is really beautiful and clean and we would definitely go back. we love destin.

Destin Spring Break

Great Spring Break vacation at 1804 East! Gorgeous views from the master bedroom, kitchen and living room. Location was perfect and we walked to The Track and lots of shopping and restaurants. Beach was clean and the staff was super friendly. Only recommendation is to update sheets and blankets (they’re cheap and only have thin quilts) and add a light to toilet room In the master bathroom. We will definitely be back to stay at this condo again!
