Everything was wonderful and we would definitely stay again. The kitchen needs a decent knife set and the fridge makes a loud noise that’s needs addresses but eve thing else was perfect!

Amazing location

The place is literally across from the beach! Its perfect. Quiet area that doesnt feel too "touristy" it feels like home immediately. Not too crowded on the beach. The home was beautiful and inviting plenty of space for a small family or a couple. AC works great! Master bathroom was very nice. Me and my boyfriend had plenty of room just us

Great Location/Property

Stayed here for a long weekend with some friends. The location was unbeatable, the property was modern and clean. Instructions were easy to follow and communication was efficient. Highly recommend!

Great Vacay

This was a great location. The amenities with the pool, walk across the street to the beach, hotel style complementary items such as dishwasher packs and laundry packs was a great plus. We opened the closet to find a broom to sweep up crumbs and found the treasure of beach umbrellas, sand toys, boogie boards etc. This was the greatest treasure for the children and myself traveling over 6 hours away our items to bring were limited and not having to purchase or rent these items was great. The only down side we had was cleanliness. We had a terrible ant and gnat infestation. The last night we were there we had two large roaches in the kitchen and a long night of terror with the kids. You could tell it didn’t have a recent pest control maintenance. The dust was pretty bad it was bugging the kids allergies. I did send a feedback response and they stated they would have the cleaning staff take care of it upon our check out.

Family of 4 (2 teenage girls)

Proximity to the beach was a perfect! Loved being able to walk easily to beach - no wagon full of beach items needed and no worries of where to park. Just go back if you need something. Loved the back porch and front porch. Nice to sit with coffee in the morning and watch the rain come in. Easy walking distance to several beachside restaurants. (Cap’n Dave’s is the best!) Lots of soaps and amenities we didn’t have to buy. Wifi was pretty good, had to unplug and reboot the router a few times when it cut off (which fixed it). The pool was great- we had it to ourselves around noon one day. Nice change from sand, saltwater, and waves knocking you over. Nice to have washer/dryer to wash clothes before leaving. Cons- jute area rug had sand under it that made it move/slide when walking. We swept under it when we left, and there’s no way all the sand was from us. Upstairs neighbors were loud with slamming doors and running up stairs at 11:00pm and later. We saw a cockroach under the fridge our last day early in the morning while packing to leave. I’d stay again, but choose the upstairs villa for better views front and back, and not have to hear the stomping around late at night.

Family Vacation

The location of this property is amazing! The short walk to the beach is quick & our time there the beach wasn’t that crowded. The view of the lake on the back porch is beautiful. We walked down there often & the turtles would immediately swim up thinking they would get food. At one time we counted 30! I prefer staying on the bottom floor so I don’t have to carry things upstairs but, the family that stayed above us weren’t exactly quiet late at night. At times they sounded like a herd of elephants…..swear. Also at night when we sat around watching tv I couldn’t find any blankets anywhere, extra ones to just cover up with. I did find sheets but they were for the fold out couch in the living room. So if you rent this room maybe bring some blankets. This was also my first time that I haven’t stayed right on the beach. I thought we would try something different. I did like it. It was perfect for us. My 5 year old son loves the beach.

Perfect location

Almost perfect vacation. Only negative point is that we have to leave the house already at 10:00 am. So a big part of your vacation is lost therefore. And some more bed stuff would be great for the sofa bed. But those are just small things didn’t impact our vacation that much. Overall we was really happy! I’ll book the next vacation soon.

Our 8th wedding anniversary

My wife and I chose to stay at this wonderful establishment because of the pictures of the place. But believe me they do not do it justice. From the moment you walk in you feel right at home. It is really quiet there. The kitchen is fully stocks with utensils and pots and pans for you to use. Which my wife was surprised at. She loved the fact there was a broom and made me use it when I dropped my cookie. The location was excellent. Close to the beach or if you want to go shopping. We really enjoyed our stay and will be back again.

We enjoyed our stay at Destiny Beach Villas, 6B. It was the perfect size for me and my 3 daughters. Noise levels from upper level were quite loud, just from residents walking. The communication with property managers could be greatly improved. I communicated on our 1st night that the outdoor light in front was out, but never got a response.

Location is everything! Super close to the beach. Pool area is super clean and nice. Unit could use a cutting board and dryer takes several cycles to dry clothes. It was nice that shampoos/conditioner/lotion was provided. Living room could be less cluttered. Overall location and pool was awesome!

It was close to the beach that was great. BUT the bedding had stains, there were areas that hadn't been cleaned in quite awhile, the power went out in the master bath and took forever and lots of phone calls to get it back on, initial communication was NONE even after multiple attempts. Once I finally got ahold of someone they were very kind and tried to be as helpful as possible.

OK space, TERRIBLE communication with property owners

This is a good space in a great location, however, a bad taste was left after the lack of communication with the property owners/Vacasa. My family and I were locked out of the unit for over an hour as we were given the wrong access code and left on hold forever with Vacasa. We missed our evening plans and reservations because of this and almost felt like we were going to have to spend the night in our car. A neighbor thankfully helped us and got in touch with the owner... the access code then changed to the correct code on my app. And still no communication from the owner or an apology. I wouldn’t have even known the code changed if I wasn’t frequently checking. You can also hear every single footstep taken upstairs and the guests above us this weekend were stompers and runners unfortunately. Just know when renting here you may have very poor assistance if you are in need.

February in Destin

The property was great,the weather not so much Fog and cold with a bonus of Rain.But in Mass.it was Freezing Rain and snow and 30 degrees colder. So all in all we were happy.
