Stayed here with family and friends for two nights at the beginning of June to attend the Elton John concert. The staff were helpful & friendly. Our rooms were clean & spacious. The communal areas, the bar & dining room, were satisfactory. Breakfast was satisfactory but lacked choice. Overall the hotel fulfilled our requirements. Would use this hotel again.
Stayed here for one night, hotel was as expected. Clean and had everything you'd need. Soul - less but that's to be expected. Would be good if there was a socket on the bedside table. Very nice staff.
In town on business. Facility is very neat and clean with very friendly staff. Nice hot breakfast. Good wifi. A little disappointed they don't serve dinner, but there are several restaurants close by (I highly recommend Seven). Several nice pubs near by as well (Brunswick Inn is a favorite and is a nice 10 minute walk). I wouldn't hesitate to book again.
This was convenient for where I needed to be the next day, rooms are basic but clean and spacious and bed is comfy, don't really have onsite catering so you have to go out to the nearby restaurants but as is on a retail type location there is plenty to choose from, not a bad cheap hotel for one night but wouldn't fancy staying any longer
Came here for just 1 night as needed somewhere to rest our heads en route to Yorkshire. Booked on the basis of trip advisor recommendations and was so pleasantly surprised. The hotel is spacious, modern and quiet. There is plentiful car parking in hotel car park at the front. Reception staff were pleasant and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable albeit not particularly large or spacious. It did however have air conditioning which was great in this hot summer spell. Breakfast in the morning was included in our hotel room rate and it was very good indeed given the fact that our room was extremely good value. Would not hesitate to recommend this hotel and pleasantly surprised that the other guests were all quiet (even those with young children), courteous and well mannered. It was quiet when we went to bed and seemed a very civilised place to stay.
A group of us stayed here overnight en route to somewhere else. The reception staff were attentive and helpful - going out of their way to place all our rooms together, even though we had made separate bookings. Breakfast was fine and plentiful - the rooms were clean, newly decorated, and the bathrooms clean. What's not to like?
The hotel was generally tidy and staff were friendly and attentive. Parking was also plentiful and free. The hotels location was great for the town with only a 10-15 min walk to the shopping centre. The only minor gripes I have is the family room was only a double sofa bed in the same small space makes the room very small to other family room at hotels I've stayed in and the grout in the floor tiles by the toilet was very dirty and ruined the overall impression of a nice bathroom.
We've always found this a convenient place to stay in derby, being so near the train station with lots of restaurants in the vicinity. The hotel, is good value, has a nice breakfast included. I live the take away potential for breakfast which fits with the rush of live. Since we staid last the beds and duvets have been upgraded. I mention as they provided a stunning nights sleep, very comfortable. As ever he staff are all very friendly and helpful.
Hadn't stayed for a while so pleasantly surprised to find it was still a good choice. Plenty of parking midweek. Free drink on arrival (as loyalty card holder), free wifi, clean and comfortable well appointed twin room well away from lift as requested. Good night's sleep after easy walk into the City Centre for dinner (about a mile). Breakfast included including hot items. All round very good chain hotel.
Nice staff they were brilliant not a thing was to much trouble and breakfast was lovely x room was nice sorry all thro there was a smell in the toilet (it wasn't me 😂) I forgot to tell the staff other than that I would recommend the hotel as we have stayed before and the room was lovely x
