The space: Our basement retreat boasts two cozy bedrooms, each adorned with queen beds and equipped with TVs featuring Chromecast for your entertainment delight. The sectional sofa in the living room pulls out to offer another comfy spot to rest your head.
There is also a well-equipped kitchen —everything you need for enjoying meals at home. And to add to the convenience, we have an in-unit washer and dryer for your laundering needs.
Guest access: Upon arrival, please refrain from ringing the doorbell at the main entrance. Instead, kindly proceed around the building and passing through a gate make your way to the back door with a smart-lock.
The basement floor - where the listed apartment is located - is all yours. The owner with his dog lives upstairs. The backyard is a common area.
Other things to note: The owners live in the upper unit with their dog Evelyn (a medium-sized Australian Shepherd mix), and as with any home, there might be some noise transfer to the basement. If you're a fellow pet lover or just someone who can roll with the occasional bark or pitter-patter, you're in for a treat!
Also, the property's backyard is a shared space, and you might bump into the owner and Evie out there. She's a social butterfly and might give you an enthusiastic welcome. No worries, though, as she's all about spreading good vibes and making new pals.
Your comfort is our priority, and we appreciate your understanding.

Property was beautiful, felt welcoming, quite (no real noise from above), comfortable and fit all our needs. Very spacious area, washer and dryer were nice to have. Host is quick to respond throughtout the whole process. Loved it and would book again!! Location is perfect base camp for exploring the Denver area.
The location was excellent and the place itself was very nice. Only thing I would add is access to the grill in the picture and the stove inside didn't have an oven.
Other than that, it was perfection!
This spot was perfect for what we needed it for! Great location, was not expecting a basement from the listing. Also, the master bed is extremely uncomfortable. Everything else was perfect. Very clean, easy check in and convenient location for a night out in Denver!

Liked: Check-in, listing accuracy
Disliked: Communication
Location was close to everything we wanted to see while we were visiting. The overall description was nicer than the actual space. When we arrived, there were tree branches everywhere and a chain saw on the walkway. We cleaned up the walkway debris ourselves so that we could safely walk to the house. The basement we stayed in was separate from the main house. It was nice that we had our own space. I didn’t realize I was renting a basement but it ended up being fine. The space was nice and mostly clean but it did have a musky smell and spiders in the bathroom. The kitchen had a tea pot and coffee as well as espresso makers. That was a nice touch. The kitchen had most of the essentials aside from mixing bowls. Lastly, the communication with the property manager was not the best. They sent a manual which the link did not work. I messaged a few times about the wifi and how to use the fireplace. I called after a few hours waiting. The manager was quick to answer my questions but did seem annoyed I was calling. He proceeded to tell me they manage several properties and I should use the messaging app. I said I had which he responded that a message was just sent and then told me again to use the app in the future. I think the separate app they have you use makes the communication not clear. I’ve used bnbs a lot over the years and this was a less than great experience.
