Home near Aurora and DIA

The owner was very nice and the space was as listed, with a couple of significant exceptions. Someone lives in the basement which was not communicated properly per the listing and was unsettling. The kitchen was not as expected as there was food stuck to countertops that had to be cleaned before we unpacked. In addition, we were not able to cook as there were few pans and no utensils. They did drop off an odd assortment which did not really help. This could be a great property to stay in with some additional cleaning, replace mattress in master bedroom, and add some dishes along with cookware and utensils to cook with. We chose the VRBO instead of a hotel for our stay so we could spend time with our kids and their girlfriends and not have to eat out. There were plenty of nice small appliances including a coffee pot and toaster oven. Large appliances were fine and the island and table were great. Overall, the two biggest things that would keep me from staying again is the living in the basement issue and the dishes and cookware missing.
