Beautiful location. Sorry I was only there overnight and not able to enjoy more
Loved everything, was close to Catus Jacks where we saw our favorite band play, was the reason we went there.
Great communication from property, easy to reach and answer questions. Property was clean, but coffee maker was dirty and showed a lot of use! The cabins are very cute, but be advised, they are very small (master bedroom size for the whole bedroom, very small bathroom and small kitchen)! Overall a great location, lots to do around the area, good value for the area and good for one or two people (more would be too crowded). We unfortunately had to leave early because we were too crowded (2 adults, 1 infant and 2 dogs) for our liking.
The property itself is unique - a cabin by a creek nestled in the Rocky Mountains. That's why we picked it as a night stay before catching a plane the next day in Denver. Problems associated with this type of rustic setting is no cell phone service and that it is hard to locate via GPS or Google maps. It's great that it is very close to Red Rocks and the drive to Red Rocks from the cabin is a beautiful scenic drive through the Rocky Mountains. Other than the logistical details, it's a great setting if you want a cabin by a Rocky mountain creek
Beautiful location! Quaint but nicely equipped, comfortable cabins right along Bear Creek. Quiet, wilderness location just a mile and a half out of Evergreen. Really enjoyed my stay - had we known how wonderful the location was we'd have stayed longer!!
We had a four day stay in Colorado and one day was at these cabins! The cabins are super close together but neighbors were friendly. It is literally right on a creek which had snow and chairs and lights along the side which made the place feel so magical. Everything was clean and although a fire would have been so cozy the heater was perfect and toasty so there was no need. The queen bed was the comfiest bed I’ve slept on! I’m very glad we came across these cabins. Check in was a breeze and the owner was available for any needed call. We will stay again!!!
Great staff, Loved the cabin, rite on the water. Great little hidden gem !!
The cabin was ok, nothing spectacular. Dated and probably needs a good makeover ( bed sheets were clean but old). Didn't look anything like the pictures on the website so I felt kind of deceived. For example, our cabin didn't have a full range, just an electrical double hot plate. We ate out mostly so it didn't matter but if one was planning to cook, probably wouldn't have gotten much out of it. The flooring was tiled and old, dusty and sandy. Probably needed a good sweeping. A mouse ran across the kitchen one night and we had weird beetles/bugs hang out with us most nights. Guess it was too cold outside for them! Bathroom sink barely had hot water, just a teeny trickle. Bath tub didn't drain too well. We made the best of our stay but I wouldn't pay the usual $220+ for this place. Got a discounted winter rate so it was ok. I've stayed elsewhere with similar rate and it was much cleaner and updated.
We flew in sat am rented a car and the rest of the day we drove around than Sunday hit red rocks than off to Breckenridge for half day of fun.
